Located in the north-eastern Tundra, the pack is rather remote and it isn't common to meet many outsiders.

The Cave

The pack resides in a large cave that has several caverns that serve different purposes. The entrance is guarded by a couple Chosen at all times. The main cavern is the largest and leads to two additional caverns to the west, one to the north, and one to the east. All caverns are lined with furs from prey to help the pack keep warm.

The caverns to the west are used for rest- the deepest cavern is the nursery for pups and expectant mothers, and all other wolves sleep in the one directly connected to the main hub.

The cavern to the north is where the alpha resides, as well as his mate if he has taken one. If his mate is rearing pups, they will also be held here instead of the nursery.

The cavern to the east is used for supply storage. Supplies are usually food and unused furs, which are used to keep warm, but may also rarely include medicinal herbs if brought back by scouts.

When Claw was just a pup, his mother spun great tales about how great wolves became the stars in the sky upon death. Some part of him still believed these stories as he grew older, and he became determined to lead his own pack of exceptional wolves one day.

He traveled all over the lands of Kells, slowly gathering a band of wolves he deemed worthy to join him in his endeavors.

Eventually, these wolves settled in the Tundra; the solitude was desirable, and all of them were hearty enough to survive the harsh climate. Together, under Claw's somewhat strict leadership, they manage to thrive despite the odds.

Appearance: There are no color limitations. Dyes are welcomed.

Naming: There are no naming restrictions.

Familiars: Familiars are rare, and rabbit and deer are considered lesser (as they're considered only good for food,) and would not be accepted into the pack. Crows and raccoons are accepted, but might get a bit of disrespect from some of the wolves in the pack.

Breeding: Breeding within the pack is encouraged. There are no expectations of monogamous relationships. Females breeding with rogues is frowned upon and would be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

Personality: The pack values intelligence and physical strength over everything else, as that is what Claw believes makes a star-worthy wolf. There's an understanding that some wolves may lean more one way than the other, and that is okay.

There's somewhat of an air of superiority throughout the whole pack.

Ranks:

Alpha: (Limit: 1) The leader of the pack. This is currently Claw, and he is unable to be challenged.

Alpha's Mate: The alpha's chosen love. Considered to be nearly as powerful as the alpha himself.

The All-Knowing: (Limit: 1) This is the lead seer. In the event that there is more than one seer in the pack, this wolf leads them all.

Star Whisperers: All other seers fall under this rank.

Healer: (Limit: 5) Healers deal with wounds and illness. They generally also report to the All-Knowing.

Star Guard: Standard rank, these wolves protect the cave and surrounding land.

Hunter: Standard rank, these wolves are tasked with making sure the pack is fed.

Scout: These wolves travel outside of the pack lands to recruit new members, gather resources, and locate areas of interest.

Broodmother: Generally female, these wolves take care of expectant mothers and pups.

Star Blessed: When pack members age beyond the point of being useful, it is believed that their energy is being consumed by their journey to becoming a star. They are essentially retired to live the rest of their lives in rest.

Pups: Pups are not assigned or trained for a role until they have matured. Broodmothers are tasked with training them basic life lessons.

Brief Summary of Personality: Stars is an enigma, although odd and a sort of breathy and-in-the-air presence she is an intellect. At most times she believes heavily that she is a constellation of her own already. She speaks often in riddles, but does come back down to Earth to have moments of clarity.

Stars comes from a very heavily lore-based pack and because of this she is known to quote stories. She is a weapon to have, as she has many recordings of events for different areas and packs of Kells. She is often a watcher, twinkling back at whomever lays their eyes on her.
How Did They Come to Join the Pack?:
Claw claims that he's the sole purpose that Stars joined the pack. He asked her, and she joined. However she was lured by the star-based antics. She also likes the idea that she will be the first-time-archivist for the pack. She gets to finally start the beginning of a lore keeping. Like her parents and many siblings had done before and after her. She gets to relay the story of Claw through her verbal tongue to those who come after her.

Brief Summary of Personality: A bit of an old soul; steadfast and reliable, though tends to be more on the quiet side. While not shy, he prefers to observe rather than be the center of attention, but will speak up if he has something to say. Despite his position, Stargarden doesn't seek violence and would prefer a peaceful resolution to conflict when possible. If pressed, however, he won't hesitate to protect his home.
He has a somewhat whimsical streak as well, and a witty sense of dry humor that shows at the most unexpected of times. Some might even call him a bit mischievous - though he'd deny it.

How They Joined the Pack: Stargarden was a wanderer before he discovered the pack. His search for the clearest skies from which to view the stars eventually led him North, where he would see not only the stars but spectacular lights in the sky.
He earned his name due to his habit of collecting shiny things which he keeps all in one place beneath sky - when the stars shine on it, it glitters and twinkles like his very own personal garden of stars.
Now he's content where he is and occasionally still finds things when patrolling the pack borders.

Brief Summary of Personality: This wolf definitely has the gift for gab. Starbright has no idea what it’s like to have trouble striking up a conversation. She is a quick thinker and an excellent problem solver; between she and her sister, Starbright is the brains of the operation.

This she-wolf always has an opinion on everything. Starbright can be seen bouncing up and down whenever she discovers some information that is deemed vital. Blank stares are a regular reaction from her sister. There is never a dull moment when she is around. At least once a week she is told to stop talking and eat already.

How They Joined the Pack: Claw passed through their territory one day speaking of his Starchasers pack. Both Starlight and Starbright were actively looking for the the ‘Seer of a Thousand Stars’, so they decided to join him. This decision was made under the assumption that the stars had brought them together and that this was their best—maybe even only—chance at finding the Seer.

Brief Summary of Personality: The twin sister to Starbright, though one would never say it if it were not for identical markings. Starlight often wondered if the color of their dyes somehow represented their personalities. Vibrant purple, which matches her sister radiant energy; and stealthy blue, which matched her own personality in the way of tracking quietly and studying the stars. She gets lost in thoughts like those often and her sister often catches her in a day dream not hearing a word she says to her. This would sometimes cause arguments and play scuffles.

Starlight is an excellent tracker and can find any quarry. She has immeasurable love for her sister and will protect her fiercely if ever need be so do not underestimate her calm demeanor. She will often, if not always, let her sister do most of the talking when it comes to others and would turn to her for any problem that was too much. They feed off of each other's abilities and personalities that create the perfect team.

How They Joined the Pack: Claw passed through their territory one day speaking of his Starchasers pack. As usual, Starlight doesn't really know in detail how it happened...... all she remembers is her sister not shutting up to an Alpha male and the next she knew, she was part of a pack that her sister says could be the key to finding the Seer of a Thousand Stars.

Brief Summary of Personality: Unlike his twin, Starhunter is a shy wolf. He only talks when talked to first. He is friendly and loves to make friends but doesn't really know how to unless they approach him first. He is happiest when his mind is set on a single task or when he is out on a scouting run.
How They Joined the Pack: Starhunter tended to stick by his brother's, Stargarden, side for most of his entire adult life, only wandering away for a few days at a time to go on long hunts. Eventually he settled in the same pack this his twin did and chose the life of scouting to help draw in more wolves into the small pack.
