Snapthroat just returned to camp after a long day of hunting. Hunting for Lightningclan and Rockclan... That was absolutely unnecessary. She grunted, carrying back two lizards, a mouse, and her half eaten lizard, placing the wholes into the freshkill pile and sulked off to enjoy the rest of her meal.

Spiderleg was working on restoring his camp all day, but ears perked when hearing the Lightningclanner return home. With food! Spiderleg was starving, but also felt like it was a burden for others to feed him. But he was sooo hungry.
"Would you mind if I took that mouse?" he cautiously asked, slowly approaching the warrior. "It would really fill up my stomach for the rest of the day."

Snapthroat barely even noticed the tom there until he spoke. Turning around, Snapthroat tore off the rest of her lizard, swallowing the remains. "That depends," she sneered, taking a step closer to the freshkill pile. "To prove that you are worthy of feasting on my catch, you'll have to fight for it."
Snapthroat unshethed her claws, flexing, letting him know that she was serious about her proposal.

Spiderleg did not expect that response at all. Was she crazy? He lowered himself to the ground, seeing that she was willing to fight. Willing to fight over a measily piece of prey? He could himself, go out into the territory and hunt, but he was really tired. And he was hungry. But this fight would not be worth it. That he knew. He saw too much bloodshed, and this would have been a ridiculous one. He would just wait until later to eat.
"Whaa? Sheathe your claws, Lightningclanner," he barked, turning away. He would rather nap his hunger away.

Snapthroat was even more annoyed with the tom now. First he wanted to eat. She wanted to see if he was worthy. And now he didn't want to fight for it? Was he going to eat or not? Snapthroat gave out a hiss in annoyance and sheathed her claws, watching as the tom started to walk away.
And then her senses hit her. Snapthroat was sick and tired of Rockclan taking advantage of her clan. "I want a fight and this is what I'm going to get!" she yowled, swiping a paw at his hip.

Spiderleg felt proud, knowing to back off from a fight. That was, until he felt a paw dig into his side. The tom bristled, leaping into the air. "What is wrong with you?" he hissed, trying to bat her away.
He was already beaten enough from the dog attack and rebuilding, that her blow really hurt him bad.

Snapthroat maneuvered herself to defend herself from his attack, barely getting hit. She then pushed her weight onto the tom's chest, trying to flatten him. "What's wrong with me is you and your clan. You're not doing any good by still being here!"

Spiderleg couldn't really breathe. Her claws were literally digging into his chest! "Please! By the mercy of Starclan! Please stop!" Spiderleg was barely even able to let out his plea.

Snapthroat would have defended her clan with honor and maybe even eliminated this cat, but she heard others approaching the two. Immediately, Snapthroat set the tom free, and bared her teeth at him. "You're lucky to be in the circumstances you are. When we're in a real battle, you better be ready."
And with this, she handed the tom a mouse and proudly walked away.
