Kuroi Mura. The Black Village as its known. The inhabitants rely on the hazardous surrounding terrain that is Kurotari to protect them. This village has established lightening rods around it which harness the local lightning to produce electricity and energy. The small village sustains itself through the use of lightning and frequent rainstorms. To even enter Kuroi Mura one must first traverse Kurotari. If an individual accomplishes this they'll find the town's inhabitants rather hospitable. The town is enamored with technology and will purchase technological products at 2x they're initial value when sold. As hospitable as the people are, however, this village is infamous for two things. 1. Bootleg Technology and 2. Human Trafficking. It's advised the women be careful if a resident is being TOO hospitable.

•Wonders: The Lightning Needle: The Lightning Needle is the largest lightning rod the village has. Found in the center of the village it's proven to be quite a tourist attraction for brave souls. The Lightning Needles Stands at roughly 250 feet tall and is responsible for redirecting the majority of the lightning in the area. Suffice to say if destroyed the village would suffer immensely.
•Detriments: -All techniques which have the Raiton element have said element diffused and is then diverted to power the village so long as the Lightening Needle stands.

A massive interdimensional gateway would tear open in the center of the village of Kuroi Mura. From it, a file of several tens of black and red cloaked men and women rose up into the small, unsuspecting population. Among their ranks were various monstrous, unnatural creatures to follow their command. This first wave of the invasion would split into three groups and spread out to destroy everything in sight, as well as kill all who crossed their paths without question or remorse. The raiding of the rather industrious location guaranteed much death and technological plundering if nothing was done to save and protect it. The humanoid warriors communicated only among their own and in a strange language new to this world. One cloaked figure remained close to the gateway with one of the monstrosities to keep it open and guarded for more of their invading forces to arrive.

Time and space swirled counter clockwise as Masato seemed to spiral into existence. He looked about, examining the field of opponents that were spawning from the time space portal belonging to Sandayu's Rinnegan. Looking onward he realized what he had allowed by not stopping his brother sooner. His crimson rinnegan pierced the forms of each and every creature. He shook his head, seeing the carnage they were causing in the village. His heart felt heavy as he stepped forward, slowly before seeming to vanish to the horde before him. His fist would slam into the stomach of a soldier that was charging into the town still, not having spilled blood yet. The man's face turned white as Masato's fist nestled itself against his spine, having penetrated his stomach. After a fleeting moment, the man's entrails would explode out of his lower back, causing the soldier to slump over. ' I'm...sorry. ' He thought, knowing this massacre could have been prevented. [ Assassination | Rank S ] Casting aside the first fallen soldier, Masato set his sights on three more soldiers that were cornering a shop owner. The shop owner was fighting valiantly to hold their ground as they continued to place barriers between them and the soldiers that advanced on them. Masato moved across the town's paved streets at remarkable speed, snatching the first soldier by the nape of the neck with an open hand. Before the other two soldiers would have a chance to notice Masato his grip would tighten and release, crushing the man's neck and snuffing his life out. The feeling of his life slipping from this world would engrain itself in Masato's mind. [ Assassination | Rank S ] Using the man's corpse still warm in his hand, Masato would throw him with great strength towards the other two soldiers. As the body of their comrade would topple them, gaining their attention and turning their attention towards Masato. As the two foot soldiers moved on Masato it was clear that one of the two recognized him. " You! You're Lord Sandayu's brother! " His voice was laced with fear while his body still showed its resolve as he moved to swipe at Masato with his pole arm. Masato grasped the shaft of the weapon just below the blade, using it to pull in the man who spoke. As the man stumbled forward, Masato formed a knife hand, plunging it into the man's throat. Nearly instantly his eyes went dark which loosened his grip on the spear. [ Assassination | Rank S ] Getting a firmer grip on the spear he had pulled from the soldier, he would rotate his wrist, flipping the spear into a favorable position for himself. The third foot soldier attempted to flank Masato now as the Uchiha's Byaku-Rinnegan tracked his every movement. The spear in hand spun rapidly, becoming a blur. Just before the man closed the distance, the spear seemed to vanish. The soldier would find himself unable to move forward without any indication why....until he looked down, seeing the spear had been released and lodged into his abdomen and the shaft was digging into the earth below. Hot on Masato's tail, Rowena had no idea what to expect besides her goal of dragging him back to Takijinsei. However, she found herself in a strange land where an army was evidently attacking. One of the strange beasts seemed to be coming right at her. "What the hell is all this? We're far from home, Masato! I'm out of my depths here; we need to return to the central gathering. THAT was my mission. Oh gods," she lamented her current life, wishing things were back to being boring and simple. It wasn't like her to speak so much but she was already at her wit's end with Masato's disobedience.
She generated swords out of her palms made of bone, pointed one at the beast.

__ Kotori rolled out of the spiraling portal after falling a short ways into the fray. Her Byakugan was somewhat puzzled by how they went from a deep, swampy forest to this stormy city rife with chaos and violence. Immediately, her adrenaline and blood got pumping as she realized she was in quite a dangerous situation. She saw Masato off elsewhere fighting off some bad guys who were threatening some civilians. Kotori glanced over to Rowena who expressed understandable discontent and fear. However, something just felt right to Kotori about being here. She watched as Rowena barely raised a bone-forged weapon in time to intercept a charging beast around the same size as a small tiger. It would fall dead on her weapon and Kotori just applauded with an impressed smile. "That was super cool! Kotori is impressed! Now it's Kotori's turn!!" She flexed eagerly and spun about just as a soldier that had been accompanying that felled monster finished charging at them. She ducked under the sword thrust at her and leaned into him as her opened right palm slammed right into the top of his abdomen. The enemy warrior stumbled backward and spewed the contents of his stomach as a result before falling to his knees and gasping for air. "Aw..." Kotori groaned in disappointment when she didn't beat her opponent in one hit like Masato or Rowena. She jump forward and flipped over her side in midair to drop a rolling kick on the top rear of the man's skull. That was enough, thankfully. "These guys are pretty tough! Kotori better not underestimate them any more than that, huh?" Kotori set her hands on her hips as she looked around for more foes. "The people 'round here look they need help. Let's worry about getting Masato-sensei back to headquarters after things are safer!" She grinned after presenting a reasonable excuse to finish their mission later. She frowned a little then ran past Rowena before performing a jumping kick into the face of another person trying to sneak up on her. The man's neck and jaw crumbled under the raw might of her strike and his weapon bounced away on the ground as he tumbled back. The blood on his disarmed tool proved that he'd killed so she had little remorse about him probably also dying from that. She looked back toward her self-proclaimed friend and winked, "Kotori has your back, Rowa-neechan!" Kotori flashed a thumbs up as she finished standing upright again.

Having slain several dozen soldiers and beasts alike at this point, Masato would hear a somewhat familiar voice behind him. The female from the swamp had indeed followed him through the portal. He could almost sense her panic. Her plea and concerns would fall upon deft ears. He turned to her, facing the girl but for a moment. " Your mission? Tell me. What village is funding your mission? In service to who? " He remained silent, awaiting an answer for a passing moment before speaking again. " There is no village. Only people. This battle...this is the war that decides if there are people left to serve after today. Want to complete the mission? Make sure you've got someone to report to after today." Masato's Kamui portal would begin to close, leaving Rowena's chance for escape lingering for just one more second. As she faced the beast ahead, Masato seemed to vanish from normal sight as he would bury his fist into another charging beast behind the girl, saving her from an unseen foe. Standing side by side with Rowena, he spoke gruffly. " So. What's it gonna be?" [ Assassination | Rank S ]
Masato would see Kotori skilfully dispatch the opponent who attempted to flank Rowena again. He wouldn't speak, just nod as Kotori boldly readied herself to continue the challenge. A mountain of a man approached wielding a great sword that was no smaller than himself. Masato raised an eye, looking up to the man who loomed above him. The man wasted no time nor pleasantries as he brought the great sword across his body horizontally to chop Masato in half. Masato, with his arms at his sides would swiftly deliver an uppercut with the hand that was nearest the blade. The impact would shatter the sword with ease. Masato then would deliver a poweful air palm to the man's chin and sending his head flying from it's perched location on the man's soldiers. [ Assassination | Rank S ]
From the left of Masato would be ambushed by a pair of smaller beasts. Each beasts would move extremely quickly. Masato's eyes shifted between the two, examining both with ease as they tried to out speed the taijutsu master. Masato sighed, seeing every constriction and expanse of the muscle groups driving the creatures, their created chakra network simple to read. As the beasts would lunge inward to Masato to clamp down on his arms he would create two knife hands and chop the creature's in half at their abdomen as they attempted to drag Masato in opposite directions. Rowena would be lying if she said that she didn't find Kotori's omnipresent optimism and energy to be invigorating. That said, she cringed on behalf of one of the beasts after receiving one of Kotori's flying kicks.
She wanted to argue the case of the mission further, but she supposed Kotori had as good a reason as any to postpone the immediate goal: preserving life. However, Masato's response made her bristle at the assumptions he made. She hadn't seen many of their own shinobi on the battlefield beside Masato and Kotori. "We lost this fight the first time, if I recall correctly," she commented darkly. "It would have been better to return to the central clearing and defend the beginnings of our home at home. I'm tired of losing. I am not obtuse to the point you're making, but it seems to me that we are fighting without a village commanding us; Lahlil is not here directing anyone with any degree of strategy - so as honorable as I'm sure you feel... it feels instead like we have abandoned our assigned post to take on a battle that isn't even ours."
Her tone had suggested she blamed Masato for all of this, but her words made it evident that she was really feeling guilty for not completing her first mission assigned by the impromptu kage; her anger was a reaction to the emotion she did not want to feel, though her anger wasn't helping her fight either. As she'd argued, she'd simply stayed close enough to Masato to avoid drawing the attention of more beasts then he was already attracting.
"Whatever," she said, tiring of the argument from one moment to another. "We can fight this ridiculous war. I hope your honor keeps your grave warm." Her words were painfully bitter as her guilt fed into an isolationist attitude. She was tired of losing. Her village, her family... and they were here, against an enemy who had already won once; fighting with less strategy and homefield advantage that they'd had the first time, and she couldn't hold a candle to Kotori's optimism in the face of this reality.

Maeko and Raito were ninja stepping their way towards the interior of the city. They were looking for anyone being attacked, things being destroyed, civilians to Evac. "I haven't ever been in a real fight, I dunno if you have Kaito, but we need to stick close and act as a team." She told him, hand holding his tight. She moved her left hand to her belt and took a scroll out of a holster. she tossed it infront of her and in a poof of smoke her Gunbai appeared and she snatched it. "Lets go!!"

Reality set in as they walked into the wartorn area. There were beasts and soldiers everywhere. He nodded firmly to her, feeling his heart rate spike in an entirely new way around her as adrenaline kicked in. It was time to act like the shinobi he had been training to be this entire time.
Three footsoldiers were heading their way and looking serious. He panicked as he threw himself into a fight response - whipping his arm towards them and then screaming, "Stay back!" His eyes were saucers as rose thorns grew all over his arm then shot outwards, catching two of the soldiers in the throat while the third behind them had been shielded by their bodies. Kaito sucked in a breath and fought the urge to hyperventilate despite the horror that he felt at the sight of the soldiers crumbling to their knees, hands instinctively but loosely covering their bleeding, bare throats. Their jaws had dropped, their eyes emptying as they descended to the earth where they did not even twitch.
"O-oh, God, oh no, oh, I didn't - I didn't," He brought his hands into his hair, pulling at his locks as he took a helpless step away from the scene unfolding in front of him. He hadn't meant to go for their throats, he had just reacted to them coming as they reached for their weapons, but they were dead and Kaito didn't know any medical jutsu and there was nothing anyone could do. What haunted him, too, was the sight of the third soldier not slowing in his assault, sword drawn and charging, and Kaito couldn't bring his hands together to form a seal; he was going to get cut down and all he could see was the red that was pouring onto the ground.

Maeko had once been alone in this world, exiled and left to fend for herself. She'd wandered through burned down villages, she'd seen death, but never witnessed the act herself. Enemies were all around and her heart was pounding fast. The grip on her Gunbai was like a vice, she gripped Kaito's hand just as tight. Taking a deep breath she readied herself for battle, letting him go and taking a few steps forward opposite of him.
Mae' heard him shout, cocked her to see him pin cushion the combatants with thorns. It was a beautiful art but deadly. They were bleeding, gripping at their wounds. Her eyes diverted to fighting that was going on around them. She started to move in to attack someone in their blind spot before realizing Kaito wasn't following. Instead he was muttering to himself. Mae' whirled around, looking at his face, watching how he reacted. He was totally stunned by his action, sitting there totally stuck in moral conflict. Her eyes caught the one charging him, and something snapped. Seeing this man charge this child, granted he had murdered his friends but still, she snapped. Bones tore from her body as she charged, sprinting full speed, shrieking at him. "STAY AWAY FROM HIM!"
Maeko did a slight hop, spinning her body out like a very sharp top she sailed into the enemy, her bone blades slashing through him, tearing him to shreds to protect her 'Sunshine!' "AAAAGGGH!!!"

These blades can be formed instinctively in order to parry and deflect incoming attacks. The blades can last for three post, or they can return the same post that they are used. Dance of the Willow: Spin [ D ] Rank: X :: Simple Description: The user leans their body so that they’re at an angle while they have blades out from the Dance of the Willow: Exertion technique. They then push off of the ground and spin toward the direction opposite of which they leaned. This propels them forward, and their spin with the blades out allows them to slice through whoever they feel. Treated as complex when used at or below the rank which Dance of the Willow: Exertion was used to create the bone blades.

Kaito heard static as he stared at the corpses in front of him. His eyes were glued to the ground, distantly aware of the third soldier coming directly for him with the sword. It should have concerned him that the footsoldier didn't even hesitate at seeing the two deaths of his comrades. It should have concerned him that the footsoldier was ready to cut his arm off.
Maeko's battle cry behind him was the only thing that broke through the static. His eyes widened and he dove to the right at the last second, taking a heavy gash on his arm for his trouble. The sharp pain made him cry out as he sluggishly moved away, turning on his heels and stepping backwards as he gripped his bleeding arm, making sure the footsoldier didn't immediately whip around to finish the job. He tried to stammer out something - an apology, perhaps, or pleading, maybe - but he couldn't get his tongue to cooperate or his mind to get back on track.
He killed those men. He forgot to say good bye to his mom at the village. He might not make it back.
The footsoldier charged for Kaito again, and he couldn't find the strength to move.

"Shoddy, disgusting, unnatural." Senran had arrived much earlier than the dynamic duo, had they only waited he would have made them aware of the lurking dangers of the black hollow but it seemed they were much too gung-ho. As a result, Senran had taken it upon himself to get a better understanding of the enemy and to say the least his earlier words showed he was less than impressed. In his free hand held up by its neck a corpse, which would then be thrown and crunch nearest a pool of water as the snapping of several bones would be the indication of a most deceased individual. What was left of a dead man made more dead. "There is no humanity in what I can only assume within these 'things' how gravely unfortunate." He'd look at the body floating with his fan covering his face only to look at it in abject disgust blood murking the water puddle. "A bastardization of the old ways."
Senran was, of course, referring to how some of these soldiers were not 'born' but 'made' by Sandayu using the 'creation of all things' technique said only to be in possession of the god-like entities given jurisdiction over creation. They were certainly alive, but they had only one thing on their minds, fight, kill, to the ones that were not full-fledged members of the organization they were just simply put, cannon fodder. This wouldn't sit well with the man, wars were made to be fought by MAN not the MAKE of man and be the strongest and most concentrated of humanities beliefs colliding with one another in a visceral drama. To Senran, this was a kindergarten play at best.
Senran would bare witness to the dynamic duo in the distance. "Ah finally arrived have they? Mhmhmhm. Wonderful." He'd open his fan rather slyly and from his height, he would with a single powerful swing throw his fan which slowly started a rotation until it became a significantly large disc of whirling chakra. The man charging for Kaito would be immediately beheaded in front of him like a driveby it happened so quick, viscera like a fountain shooting out from where his head once was. However, that was not all. This fan began to spin and cut a swathe through man after man in the same fashion within the vicinity. Not being given so much as a second to react surrounding Kaito would just be several rolling severed heads eyes rolling into the back of their skulls.
The fan would then follow its flight path until Senran would be holding it once again in his hands. Had the eyes of these two youths followed it they would find the man responsible his legs crossed rather unenthused in the air. Naturally, this drew the attention of the surrounding men. Whom would naturally focus their attention on Senran. "KILL HIM!" one would shout, a survivor of his earlier attack but such was more than enough time for the mysterious and what seemed to be merciless individual to raise two of his fingers and like the ancient onmyoji spell out the word 'Burning Death' in Kanji. A small pitiable flame seemed to have been produced. One that sparked confusion until the lead man in charge of this small group attempted to strike it. The group of men who were a distance away from the two youths who had formed a cluster would be immolated as their screams echoed through the town in massive flaming explosion that originated from but the littlest of sparks. Making true to its namesake. The Black Village all that was left of these men were smoldering corpses.
Senran would then hover on over to the stunned boy if he was not even more stunned. "Reluctancy will get you killed child. You'd do well to hone yourself. Mhmmm hmm. Less, of course, your goal in life is death in which I cannot blame you. Bearing witness to all this must make you think life is quite the harsh reality no?" As Senran spoke already the men were gathering their forces again. So long as that general remained even if these isolated units were dealt with there would still be more around the corner. "This is what awaits you in your future as a shinobi, relish in it, savor it. This will not be the last time." Senran would say as he assumed a more strategic height, still within ear shot but still capable of seeing the field of battle to a better degree. _________________________________________________
•The Fifth Akira: Darting Moon Rank: A :: Complex {Total 10+20+20+20+10} (-4 Men) Description: The user will take their open fans by the flat tip of the blade and fling them like a disc at an incredible speed. Because of the great speed, the fans become more like rotating saw blades than anything else, able to cut through whatever they may encounter. Once thrown, the chakra infused into the fans causes it's surface to expand a foot for every rank of the technique executed, creating saw like discs up to seven feet in size. Upon contacting a surface, these saw blades return to the user's hands like boomerangs.

Masato calmly had dispatched several dozens of the rabble remaining with ease, he had sensed the tide turning upon his brother. He felt a grievous sorrow sweep over him as he thought of his brother dying on his own without family at his side. He sighed, looking to the pair who'd tagged along. " I'm going to face my brother before he is defeated...seems there's more allies than before. Fight em' or join me. Won't matter. " The girl's words spoken previously would probably displease most others, Masato could appreciate her backbone though, sticking to what she believed. Without another word he would make his way towards the Nise-Arashi Gates.

The foe ahead of them seemed to be fairing well. " Commander!" a voice echoed to the man who sat upon steed, clad in black steel. " The foe are pushing us back! At this rate..." the Man who held the highest rank among them would silence his ally. " Cut the noise. We...have a bigger issue." His empty eye socket that the Rinnegan rested inside only moments before bled profusely. He gritted his teeth. His will was his own, but his right eye could only see the carnage that lied ahead of him. He was sure his men would also feel the sense of self bestowed upon them, he was curious to what they would do. Quickly his answer would be had as several of them paused in their tracks and looked to one another for understanding. Then, horrifically to the men who fought under Kogarashi's banner their brethren would begin to crumble away to ash. When all was done, only five of the remaining thirteen men remained. Further examination from the captain would reveal the beasts had seemed to remain un-phased by the event, remaining in force, taking command from no master. Turning tail and fleeing the soldiers living made an attempt to flee the battle. Their captain upon his horse would step forward as they passed him, facing the shinobi who stood quite confused. " You! Enemy of Kogarashi!" his voice echoed across the now vacant city. He stepped down from his horse, the bleeding in his eye slowing to a drip. From the horse's saddle he removed a large kite shield with the snowflake emblem of Kogarashi upon it's facing. With his long sword in hand, he readied himself for the attack that would come to be. Meanwhile the beasts that remained would divide, chasing the Kogarashi remnants, leaving two of their kind to attack Kaito and Maeko with a heavy striking tackle armed with claws and teeth.

Maeko was furious with herself, she'd missed by inches. She was stopped a few meters away, catching her head as she tried to let the dizziness subside. That is till she noticed he was holding his arm, and that someone was speaking to them. She freaked out, seeing the boy hurt. Bodies fell around them as Senran took as many heads as he could. Mae' freaked out was sprinting at Kaito, slipped in the mud and took a crash before scrambling up. Her bones had pulled back into her as she smashed into him, hugging tight and looking his arm over. Maeko tried to stop any bleeding with some cloth she had. Senran was speaking but she was blocking it out, tying off the bandage on Kaito's arm before giving the Kaguya a death glare. "We know this! He knows it, shut your dumb stupid mouth!" She spat at him, her hand moving to grip his, staring him in his eyes. "Listen to me, we need to fight as one. We will make it, if we stick together." She heard a terrible growling noise, before the two horrifying animals charged. Bones protruded again, she dropped her Gunbai and did a single hand seal and took a step forward Her free hand outstretched before her bones shot at the beast charging her. Then a dead sprint right at the other planning on smashing it with a Kaiser Crown straight to its own dome. Her bone protruding from her forehead like a protective plate.
Dance of the Willow: Exertion [ D ] Rank: X :: Complex Description: The first of Kimimaro's five dances. Allows the user to have their bones extend from their body in the form of long blades. These blades can be formed instinctively in order to parry and deflect incoming attacks. The blades can last for three post, or they can return the same post that they are used. When the bones either separate from the user or return into them, the skin which was penetrated as a result of the technique is automatically restored. Dance of the Willow: Expand [ D ] Description: The user performs a single hand seal. All of the bone blades created from Dance of the Willow: Exertion, fly from the opponent’s body in the direction the blades were pointed toward. If used at or below the rank which the user performed the Dance of the Willow: Exertion in order to create the bone blades, then the projectiles fly at one rank higher than the rank of the technique.
Kaiser Crown [ D ] The user delivers a downward head butt while directly before the target. This headbutt is delivered with such force that it stuns the target, removing an activation from their next post. For each rank of the technique the user gains a slight increase in strength.
