A fake village emulating the past village in all aspects, size, scenery, and color made of sturdy ink has replaced the crater where Arashigakure once was. The village shares the same features as the original village but any damage caused to its structures will reveal its true composition. It is currently inhabited by faceless inky anbu operatives which when interacted with will not speak. If they are attacked they fall apart into inky masses. These inhabitants made with the intent to believe the village is populated. A strategy devised by the current Arashikage to distract the enemy if just for a few extra moments. Will serve as the battlegrounds for the ground unit in the eventual war to take place.
On either side of the two mountain passes that lead to Arashigakure are huge metal gates from a time long since forgotten forged by master craftsmen of the era. These huge gates are manned by jounin ninja at all times, and form the only feasible way into the village for groups that aren't interested in climbing over a massive range of mountains that are nigh impassible (see: everyone.) Though technically a hidden village, these gates can be seen from several miles out into the lightning country.

__ Walking along the road Nohea couldn't help but let her mind be plagued by troubles of recent events. Why did she even care to begin with anyway? Life happens and people die that was just the way things went, and it's not like she even really spent that much time with the group anyway! Still Nohea couldn't deny there was a heaviness in her heart, along with a new... whatever this was. Nohea ran her hand over the seal on her stomach. Belamos would know what to do though of that she was certain. The only problem was how was she supposed to get to him?
Following to the end of the main road her suspicions were... not confirmed? Squinting to make sure that she it wasn't a hallucination, there in fact was the village plain as day with even guards patrolling as before. Taking a hesitant breath Nohea made her way closer to the gate until at last she was standing at the entrance. The only problem is that the guards didn't seem to react to her presence, or to be more specific they didn't hail her at all. Getting right into the face of one the little shark girl screamed at the top of her lungs. "HEY!" And still she received not even the slightest response. Instead the guard only looked down at her and maneuvered around her path.
Just what was going on here? A quick kai told her that it wasn't a genjutsu at least. Snarling in in fury she stormed off back down the road except she took a smaller mountain path. It was obvious that this wasn't the same village as before but that then begged the question, where does an entire village and all it's people disappear to? She didn't have an answer at the moment so the best she could do was make camp someplace far out of the way in the mountains. If they saw fit to hide themselves then perhaps it was a good idea for her to do the same?

"Confused youngling?" Senran hadn't left his place of perch since the white tiger sought newer lands. He'd watch Nohea moving in her own direction. Really this guys prescence at all was a weird one but that being said it seemed he knew about the state of the village to some degree...or maybe...just maybe he was responsible. "Although I must say the village leader is quite the shrewd one aren't they?" The man on the stump would say fanning himself calmly. In a sense like the White Tiger had said he was functioning as a 'gate guardian' in the sense that he simply was waiting for the 'time' to come. Until then he would patiently await here. Although...eventually that may prove tedious and the eventuality of him having to seek shelter would have to occur but until then he'd patiently and ominously loom in the area. Following that, she would go to research this strange occurrence before her. Cameras showed a village where only the skies and clouds appeared on the horizon, yet here, there was their village... Eerily empty... With a suspicious man sitting out front. No, sorry. A definitely NOT suspicious man sitting out front. All in all, it called for an investigation. Shion was in charge of the mission. Yuno needed her rest. Therefore, Kagerou got to be nosy and figure out what was happening here. Was Arashi also being plagued with space warping and mind twisting occurrences? Only one way to find out.

Senran would say towards the woman whom approached having shifted his direction away from the shark girl who perhaps decided to venture off camping less she had her interest peaked. Senran would then continue to adress Kagerou with a wistfully smooth yet auspicious tones. "Well to be thoroughly honest. Nothing. Nothing is going on and it is for that reason why I feel you need to use your words better." Looked like he was one of those soothsayer types. Speaking in those ever annoying riddles and metaphors but before Kagerou would have to bend the knee to play his word games he'd speak.
"Although, I suppose, if something were going on, as you put it, your village leader, that is assuming you are from said village has created some form of incredibly interesting plan of sorts as your impending destruction draws near. By the by, I do look forward to seeing quite a show. I truly wonder if it will be anything like that enlightening event in the other village." He brought the fan up to his face as he closed his eyes to reminisce of his time in Uzugakure. "A young girls pleading unheard, a swirling shadow sacrificed, the desperate cries of a powerless young maiden with a demon inside her fit to burst, a moth to not a flame but a wave what washed it away, all of it turned to ashes by burning stars. This man spoke in mysterious ways, but it wasn't beyond Kagerou's abilities to decipher, or at least guess, what he meant. He answered "nothing," but that "nothing" reinforced Kagerou's assumptions. "Nothing" was something that would happen in a decoy village.
A calm smile veiling her face, Kagerou fell into this man's pace and spoke on his terms. "This young maiden with a demon within, did you see if she was safe?". Senran's eyes remained closed and words remained roundabout. "Mmm hmm hmm. Safe. In the the physical realm I suppose. The other not so much mhmm hmm. The stars claimed many, they claimed that woman aswell. However, I suppose many things have claimed her in this sense. The look in her eyes. Oh what a broken mirror it was, such a satisfying reflection I'd bear witness to in them. What I would have given to awaken what lay within her, to awaken the feelings with that lay dormant but alas, to remain during that festival of stars would have been most unfortunate for me. Although you've peaked my curiosity. Of all whom played actor in that wonderful orchestration of humanity you singled out solely one. Aquaintances are you?"
Being a point of 'interest' for this man seemed likely something that could very well be not a good thing. Especially since he seemed to sound like he gained a sense of satisfcation bearing witness to misery. But of course that much was apparent, after all he was solely here to watch the same fate that happened to Uzugakure occur to Arashigakure. I can, however, tell, from the faintest movements in your body that you're trying to hide your tiredness and realize your work is yet to be entirely done. An anomaly. A mystery. It was terribly easy to simply label this man with those terms and keep it at that. This man spoke of the physical and spiritual in ways that a mere stranger of no importance would be hard pressed to speak of. It was more likely to believe that this passerby Kagerou happened to meet was simply a well-dressed homeless speaking crazy nonsense. However, that in and of itself, was highly unlikely. Call it shallow, but he appeared at least fit for the part he spoke as.
He nailed every bit of Kagerou head on, but fortune tellers could do the same.
Keeping the sudden swell of protectiveness she felt for Sonyo under control, Kagerou continued to smile her best defense. "To answer your question, it was because she sounded interesting," Kagerou lied through her teeth, getting a bad feeling regarding this man's intentions, I thought you might have the most to say about her." This wasn't necessarily a strange way for Kagerou to approach a topic she knew nothing about. To listen was to learn, and if there was more spoken, then there was more to learn.
She worried for Sonyo after everything she heard, but in front of this man was not the time to act rashly. Casually with one hand while he fanned himself with the other he'd speak in a manner most seperated from the current happenings as if entranced by his own movement. As he spoke, it would have happened at the same time, the moment the letter he'd made had flashed, the innocent-seeming letter that seemed more a show than anything would have caused Kagerou to suddenly lose herself. What things she would say before she would stop herself would be determined by her alone. That is if she realized something had been done, to begin with.

__ Just as she was about to leave Nohea heard the voice of a man call out to her which was more than enough to get her attention considering that everyone she had yelled at in the ‘city’ completely ignored her. Twisting back, she found she was pretty sure was a… man? It was hard for her to tell sometimes when they kept their shirts on, but his voice did ring with a masculine tone. Immediately she ran back up to him, so ready to demand answers that she mostly ignored the green haired woman entirely, although even with a short glance Nohea did find her very beautiful. “HEY YOU. GUY WITH THE FUR. You know what the hell is going on here with fake… whatever the hell that is?” Her loud and accusatory tone was meant to talk over whatever the other two had previously been talking about. Tired and on the verge of a breakdown now, her accusatory tone made it certain she was in no mood to play games. She WAS going to get back to that village no matter where it was, and she WAS going to find Belamos. Again. “You better not have been the one to hide it either or so help me..” Barring her fangs Nohea waited impatiently for her answer with a hand already on Hiramekarei.

Kagerou warily glanced at the sudden light show, but did not let it distract her. Her eyes continued to focus on Senran's half-revealed face. The face would tell her if the lights were an attack or merely a tool for sleight of hand, and she could still see the glimmers of light in the bottom of her vision. She did not like how she felt so on guard with this new person. He seemed the type that was insightful, and perhaps would make a good conversation partner in discussing the nature of the human mind. Perhaps a little nihilistic, but nothing wrong with that. However, his earlier comments on Sonyo and the way he described the annihilation of an entire village had, unfortunately, put her on edge.
"Senr-," Kagerou wished to bid this new acquaintance farewell on good terms. Suspicions she may have had, and honestly felt bad for, she knew better than to simply mark him as a villain for just that. As it felt appropriate with his ornate way of dressing, Kagerou had tilted her head down to give a short bow. Unfortunately, that had the effect of putting Senran's hand in her field of vision, right in time to see and realize the final strokes of his fingers to finish the kanji. "Honesty" flashed briefly.
Kagerou's mouth opened.
And in that same moment, a shark girl barged in to interrupt, yelling boisterously, her voice covering Kagerou's spoken words. "I'd actually rather be home, helping search for my mom and dad, then here at Arashi, but I like the people here a lot anyways. I'm afraid. Afraid for my mother. She appears so strong on the outside, but I know in-". To begin with, not much was said. Not much before Kagerou, after finding that she couldn't control her mouth to bite herself, slammed a palm up against her jaw to force her teeth to bite into her tongue. She flinched, of course, and also bled. If the pain, alone, wasn't enough to stop the technique. If her mouth and tongue continued to attempt to move against her hand, creating squelching mutters, Kagerou would cast a sign with one hand and "kai" herself out of what she could only guess was a genjutsu.
Naturally, Kagerou wasn't smiling when she bit her own tongue. This carried over to the expression she stared at Senran with. Narrowed eyes. Thin lips. An incredibly rare glare as she practically bristled. Therefore, for a brief moment in time he had two fair ladies glaring hate into him, one of them ranting while the other silently judged.
For better or for worse, Kagerou regained control of her temper shortly after, and certainly before she spoke. Her face relaxed. She honestly tried to understand as she listened to the last of Nohea's words. A smile formed on her lips. The same as before. "Certainly, you have convinced me that you are not a fortune teller, Senran," Kagerou calmly commented once Nohea was done. She was no longer that young girl who would let her shakiness appear in her voice, and her tone remained as smooth as butter. The only signs of earlier panic being the line of blood that ran down her chin. That, too, was swept away, however, and licked off of her fingers.
Not forgetting to pay the child that just joined heed, Kagerou then tilted her head in Nohea's direction as she prepared to address her as well. She got a better look at Nohea, at the way her hair appeared disheveled, face red with panicked running, and her appearance altogether rattled. Her mask of a demeanor cracked then. The mysterious smile returned to a neutral position. Kagerou didn't so much as furrow her brows as she blinked in thought. Senran, this man, was interesting. She wanted to know more about him. However, there was a child in distress in front of her. To put her priorities in place, of course it had to be this sharp-toothed kid.
Giving a different smile this time, a gentle, tender one, Kagerou attracted the growling child's attention with a soft pat on her head, of course using the hand she didn't just lick. "There, there," Kagerou spoke to the lost child, "I believe I know where the village is." If Nohea graced her with the privilege of being looked at, Kagerou would wordlessly, almost playfully point up, where the ascending dots of Shion and Yuno could probably still be seen.

You are allowed to have a mirrored amount of your total ninjutsu slots exclusively for sensory. In addition, you are able to discover things such as demon chakra, or the type of technique that is about to be active (Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, etc.), even specifics such as Bloodline type and rank from any active sensory technique. This discipline allows the user to be able to sense their enemy’s ninjutsu attacks and their composition, which grants a -1 rank deduction to dodging with the dodge mechanic X-ranked skill so long as it was used within the range of the user’s sensory abilities. Universal Attributes
• Kiritani Heritage - The Kiritani, the maternal side of Kagerou's family, have a long tradition of serving Kirigakure from the shadows and high standards to match. Being able to cast techniques without hand signs is what they consider the bare minimum, and they expect no less from Kagerou despite her Uchiha surname. Kagerou can replace hand signs/seals with equivalent gestures and motion from the wrists or fingers of one hand. • Hippocratic Oath - Whatever it takes from her, Kagerou is determined to save every life she can, more so than taking any. When a healing eiseijutsu is used, a single healing or situational eiseijutsu of lower rank can be supplemented onto it for no extra cost in chakra or activation. This includes augment techniques. • Nightmare Veteran - There's really no place like home. Even genjutsu struggles to match hellish nightmare created from the mind of an exhausted Jack, and this experience, along with several others, has left the already naturally calm Kagerou even better suited to remain composed in the face of any pressure. She is adept at seeing through genjutsu, and even when she can't (or if the horror turns out to not be genjutsu at all), she's still incredibly difficult to ruffle to the point that once Kagerou recognizes the genjutsu, it loses much of its potency. A recognized genjutsu of lower rank than Kagerou cannot inflict real injuries on Kagerou, and while her physical body within the genjutsu is still affected as normal--being pushed, pulled, bound, or what have you--emotional and other strictly mental sensations have no hold on her. • Inkapocalypse - You thought this was a pun on Inka, but it was me! Dio! Bad jokes aside, the PA really isn't about Inka. Dissatisfied by her cluelessness during the Sero pod event, Kagerou spent days researching sealing, and through sheer repetition, it's become easier for her to use seals. She can write seals up to her body rank on the fly, using even her own chakra manifestation if necessary. Writing a seal takes up the same activation as using it, and in the case when her chakra manifestation is used to form a seal, her chakra becomes visible to the naked eye and she can only extend her manifestation as far as 1m away from her body. For the purposes of this PA, Fuuinjutsu includes the Kuchiyose techniques. When a chakra manifestation seal absorbs something, said something is considered to be stored within her chakra manifestation until it is later released with the appropriate technique. • Blood Moon - In the light of the blood moon, Kagerou maintained her calm and spread it to others. Since then, such a practice has imprinted itself into her eiseijutsu. Targets of Kagerou's eiseijutsu can korabo their kai with the eiseijutsu technique, increasing the strength of their kai by one rank. As per korabo rules, the eiseijutsu technique and kai must be the same base rank.

• Iryo-nin I - Kagerou can retrain [Medical] jutsu into those with a [MEDIC] tag on the end of them. [MEDIC] jutsu exhibit healing properties equal to their rank and are considered to be [Medical] and eiseijutsu. • A Sound Mind I - Due to her training in the psychiatry medical field, Kagerou knows when someone is deceiving her. Note that this does not mean she knows the details of the deception, such as how she is being deceived, what she is being deceived on, to what extent the deception goes, etc. This PA can be countered by either an opposing PA and a higher rank in the psychiatry medical field or by a technique above or at Kagerou's body rank that can obscure truth and lies. • A Sound Mind II - Due to her training in the psychiatry medical field, Kagerou is adept at deceiving others. She doesn't give those telltale signs, down to even the smallest detail, that others use as indicators of truth and lie. This PA can be countered by either an opposing PA and equal ranks in the psychiatry medical field or by a technique above or at Kagerou's body rank that can discern truth from lies.

Senran had closed his eyes, while it was easy to get lost in the loud accusatory tones of the young girl he'd addressed earlier he would soak in all words being said. After all he above all else knew the power of words. As bristled as Kagerou was with him he seemed to have gained an abject joy in it with a smile. "Indeed. I am a seeker of truth as oppose to fortune. Yet. you surprise me, is what you hold in your heart so precious you would go to such lengths to silence yourself? Mhmm hmm hmm. You see I do not mind when people are dishonest with me. Only when people are dishonest with themselves." He'd see no reason to address Nohea. The woman had already done so quite well already to say everything that needed to be said. But then the man stood up.
"I do believe you'll be taking your leave then. If I've lost the right to be privy to your name then I do not mind it being kept to yourself for now." He spoke as if it was an inevitability he would find out her name eventually regardless. He'd then reproduce two kanji. It seemed he didn't need to take his time to produce these words of his if he desired to evoke them quickly. 'Take' and 'Care' these were the two words that he'd made to spell take care. Innocent enough although it would be best that Kagerou stay on her guard with these flashy words, but take care didn't have any connotations that would imply something sinister or manipulative like before otherwise.
Now what would occur. Kagerou now could have easily with Nohea in tow both have turned around by this point and ceased looking at the man. But had they not when the two words vanished and if they had both been exposed to it the truth behind one of the two words would be revealed. While he had used Take Care the 'key word' was 'Take' while 'Care' served as a dummy. Would he be finding something in his possession worthwhile he wondered? Truly his intent was simple. To discover what the woman before him found more precious. Her family, or thisr village. If it was the latter. Well...Senran was a man who couldn't have that. After all his life goals were to ensure people were acting on the desires of their truest self.

By invoking this word those that look upon it when it glows and vanishes or is touched by it will essentially lose that which is considered most precious to them within the vicinity. It can also be used to discern what level of preciousness the thing in question stolen is to a person and if there are things more precious but simply not around to be stolen. It's up to the RPC under the effect of Tōnan what this is particularly. This may extend to a loved one in the vicinity dying outright, that loved one being teleported to Senran's side and proclaiming a hatred towards the person who considered their love to be the most precious thing to them. It can also be a concept or capability. Someone whose strength is most precious will find their strength leaving them {in a manner that RPC feels befitting} if their most precious thing is the memory of someone that is taken. What is most dangerous about {Theft} is it can be used again stealing the next thing down the line the person deems most precious. If the thing that the individual considers most precious is not present or there isn't a strong enough feeling the technique will often default to stealing undergarments as many carry the belief that 'hiding their shame' is the most precious, this is more than often the point when {Theft} no longer continues to be used as it usually leads to the theft of more clothing. When things such as concepts, memories, or beliefs are stolen they appear as flames with a written Kanji or character representing it. These flames varying in color which can be viewed as though they were small looking glasses if what was stolen was a memory or something similar. For physical things, they will either appear in his hands or next to him. However, he has shown a particular dislike for those whose most precious things are material. __ Nohea was furious. First there was this… stranger! Who felt that it was okay for her to pat her head when she didn’t even know her! I mean she was awfully nice.. but that wasn’t the point here. Nohea hated being treated like a child and that’s all these adults seemed keen on doing nowadays, even when she knew for a fact that none of them held even a fraction of the determination she held. Even still the little shark girl might have been able to look past this motherly stranger just because she was so nice, but this weirdo covered in fur was a whole other story.
Nohea had a gut feeling from the moment that she had meet him that he was no good, but she really had no idea until she glared angrily into his kanji. At first she thought that he was only using cheap parlor tricks, the kind she had seen a million times before whenever those travelers came waltzing through the town she had used to lurk at, or least that was until the inky black words started to radiate with power. It was almost like a connection between him and her had been made and when the words faded from sight it was severed in an instant, the spell having taken a small piece of her.
It wasn’t hard for her to figure out what was missing either. The moment was still so fresh in her mind after all. His face, what did his face look like again? But no, that can’t be right! Everything else was so clear. The happy band of merry makers all sitting by a fire, her first laughter, and what was his name? Dropping to a small crouch with her knees up to her chest the little girl buried her face in her hands. Running through all of her memories no matter how hard she tried all Nohea would find is a black void wherever he should have been. Was that right? Had nothing really been there in the first place? But why was she so sad then? A crackling of white hot chakra sparked to life around her body that would likely singe Kagerou if she continued to touch her head.
Face a puffy mess and tears streaming down her face Nohea looked back up at Senran and locked eyes with first him, and then with the flaming Kanji he held in his possession. She might not know what it was anymore but she did know that whatever it was had meant a lot to her and she wanted it back. Using Shushin, Nohea’s body flashed out of sight and reappeared behind Senran. It was her style to use sudden confusion and sneak attacks to bring her opponents down and that could be seen even on instinct here, but Nohea wasn’t thinking straight anymore. In her tear-filled rage the little shark girl let out a scream as loud as she could. The kind of scream that could only come from someone so desperately trying to regain what they lost, of sadness, anger, desperation, all mixed into one gargled and disgusting noise. More than Senran at this point, Nohea was screaming at the world. “GIVE IT BACK!” Fist glowering with her electric chakra she lashed out wildly hoping to hit the man in back of his left ribcage. The power radiating from her now would hint that the power from her strike would unleash a shockwave in his direction if he wasn’t careful about how he dodged.

"Kiritani," Kagerou would give Senran that much when he mentioned her name. She had given him her first already, and he did not seem the type to forget so soon.
Following that last word, however, Kagerou turned around, paying only a glance at his kanji of "take care." She tried to gently tug on Nohea to indicate that the shark girl should follow her. Nohea, however, appeared to be busy giving Senran the Korra glare. Kagerou could only give a helpless smile. People would be people.
She couldn't helplessly smile for very long, though. Suddenly, before her eyes, Nohea crumpled before her. An outright breakdown. Naturally, Kagerou's eyes darted to the most suspicious figure, Senran. He seemed adept at mental tricks, and enjoyed them to boot. A kanji floated in his hand, burning with a light that was different from what he had before. However, while she kept him in her suspicious gaze, she didn't execute him right away. She would ask first, as she always did.
Protectively, she tightened her grip around Nohea's arm, even enduring the white-hot chakra. It was just a burn, nothing serious. It was worth enduring in case something rash occurred.
Too bad she didn't have that time to ask. As soon as Nohea had broken down, she had taken matter into her hands. Before Kagerou--sharp as she appeared, she was after all battling post-mission exhaustion--even noticed Nohea was missing from her grip, Nohea was suddenly behind Senran. Senran barely had time to react. Kagerou had even less time. She only had the time to piece it together. That "take" kanji did have an ulterior purpose behind it.
So then, Senran. Kagerou's eyes narrowed, wide in shock and concern as they were earlier. What would Senran do here?
