There had been a few falling stars the evening before, all of which she had made a different wish upon. But tonight, there was no keeping up. It was quite a wondrous event to behold while sitting atop one of the buildings in a rural part of Destiny City where many of the streetlights had long since burnt out making it easier to view spectacles such as this. Breanna wasn’t exactly big on Astronomy. However, over the last several nights, she had been powering up without her sister knowing, in order to observe the meteor shower that was supposed to be happening this weekend. It’s not that she resented her twin, especially since they were both adults and capable of making their own decision. But sometimes Eleonora really wished she would join her more often and stop scolding her when she did decide to go out on her own. Nonetheless, the Senshi of Heat was determined to enjoy her evening. At least that’s what the plan was until one of those streaking lights flew straight over Destiny City, over her head, and landing somewhere probably a good twenty miles away. “Damn, that was a close one.” She commented after the awe-inspiring moment had passed and the realization that it had landed startlingly close to her observation spot. “Hmm, I’ve never seen a meteorite up close.” Unless you counted the space and science museum when she was a kid but something that valuable and rare was likely a replica of the original. And so, Eleonora dusted off the back of her skirt and proceeded in the general direction of where she last saw the meteor land.

Chip, the small and ever enthusiastic little chaos kitten, had heard from somewhere that there was a meteor shower! He imagined fiery balls of doom raining from the sky, panic in the streets, and a very impressive pyrotechnics display. Alas, it was not that at all. Worse, it was pretty cloudy. Still, one could catch glimpses, and that was pretty neat. After the first night (where he went expecting to see some exciting levels of doom), he spent a while in Nega HQ pounding together different pieces of equipment and, before it was time to go have a look again, he had his whirly whizbanger! ...Which, he would admit, did not have a very fitting title. But it did have a tiny satellite dish looking thing that spun around based on some cogs and gears he affixed to his little hat for this occasion, and it gave him little buzzes and soft beeps to find things... ...And, it turned out, it led him to watching a meteor come all the way down, and pretty close, too! Surely, his whirly whizbanger had directed him to exactly where he needed to be ( it was not luck he would assure anyone who cared to listen later) to go visit a meteorite on the ground. So it was that the little Mau found his way to it. It wasn't an especially big impact crater...a few days and you'd never know. But for the moment, it looked suitably dramatic, and bold as ever, Chip scooted right up to it to give it a pawtap.

As Eleonora approached the crash site she noted the lettering of trees and branches that fallen, or snapped, in the same general direction. Like a pitfall with spikes, this place was a mess of stumps that were left rooted in the ground were splinted in an almost horrific way. Thankfully it seemed as if most of the space debris burned up in the atmosphere because, had the meteorite been any larger, it could have had a more devastating impact. Nonetheless, Eleonora remained on the outer edge of the still-standing treeline, looking forward in awe while contemplating whether or not it was worth the risk to find whatever was at the epicenter. That was, until she felt a diminutive chaos aura approach from behind. Turning on her heel she tried to spot the person, or thing, that was drawn here like she was. “Who's there?” Eleonora shouted.

"Chip is here!" Chip replied in a tiny voice with a somewhat imperious tone, though he didn't actually bother to reveal himself. There was an aura here, and it was other, but the Mau held no fear in his little heart, so it didn't worry him. No, the bits of rock and tree branch were much more interesting. "And who is over there?" he asked all the same. Maybe it'd be someone he could show off too, or just get more praise and attention from. He lifted his head up just over the rock he was investigating. Granted, his little hat with its tiny satellite dish addition poked up higher than that, but he was quite small either way.

“Ele…” she responded almost hesitantly. The Senshi of Heat made her way towards the general area where she heard the voice call out. Carefully picked her way through the tree shrubs and bushes she first caught sight of the little metal headpiece that was on top of the cats head. “Are you-” Eleonora paused a moment. “Are you a mauvian?” She asked with a bit of a skeptical look on her face. Until now she had only met agents and youma so this was definitely a new experience. Sure there were both White Moon senshi, like herself, and their counterparts in the Negaverse; Corrupts. So it seemed like a reasonable enough assumption that the same could be done to one of their feline companions. Even so, the thought of someone corrupting someone like Liryn was a heartbreaking thought

"As a matter of fact Ele," Chip replied, tail flicking from side to side idly, "I am a Mauvian!" He nodded, causing his little spinning satellite dish to flop to one side. He rocked it back upright before continuing. "And you're a senshi!" At that moment, it occurred to him that this was actually a bad thing most likely... Still. He was reasonably sure he was safe here. This was someone coming to look at a cool thing! What's not to appreciate? "And this came from the sky! Isn't that just grand? I wonder what it looked like while it was still up there..."

Eleonore looked up at the sky in shared wonder, “Probably a lot bigger than what it is now.” She stated more so out of awe from the damage such a small thing caused as opposed to being a smart a** like her twin accused her of being sometimes. “I wonder if it was anything like my sister's world… or Meteora’s wonder.” Before becoming a senshi it was easy to assume that life outside their world was non-existent, that all other objects were desolate rocks floating in a sea of weightless sea of space around a star of their own. How wrong she had been. “I’ve never visited my own so I can’t really compare but Alcor’s homeworld will freeze your little toe-beans off.” Being that she was the senshi of cold it seemed rather fitting that the star she was named after was appropriately chilly. “Have you ever visited any place not… here?” Ele wasn’t exactly sure how to phrase it but what she meant to ask was more so if he had a place of his own not within Destiny City.

Chip listened to her musings curiously (strangely, his little antenna dish pointed at her and stopped briefly while he did, but it kept spinning once she was done--or if she looked straight at it). "Me?" he asked, and pawed around briefly before sitting on a rock and looking up. "Well, maybe," he concluded. "Probably. I mean, some of my memories are a bit fuzzy," he went on as if he didn't just make a pun, "So I feel like yes...but I dunno. I'd like to do it again, so I can remember better, though!"

“I take it that means mauvians don’t have their own world they could go to.” Something to consider asking Liryn about the next time she met up with him. Eleonora wasn’t so new to this war to not know of the Dark Kingdom. It had been a few years but she had been there once before; teleported by Cadeus but saved by Cosmos. The groups that had gone into the Negaverse stronghold had barely made it out with their lives but those that did were not without reward. Knights were able to retrieve a piece of a “Code” as they called it. At the time, and even now, she only ever met one but hadn’t thought to ask about it at the time. But the other prize they had escaped with were starseeds; Cosmos had kept most but there were a few that had been returned to the people they had been stolen from. At least some good came from their invasion. Drawing in a deep breath she sighed, remembering the moment she almost lost her twin when the floor beneath them collapsed after their group had nearly killed a giant scorpion youma. She had never been so scared in her life and it was then that she started taking this war they were in a bit more seriously and listened to her sister's concerns more carefully. “I’d like to visit more places,” She absently admitted. Leaning her head back Ele looked up at the night sky. “At least it doesn’t cost anything to visit worlds or wonders.” No plane tickets or hotels to worry about. The only thing one needs is time off and a backpack full of supplies such as food or a sleeping bag but that was only if they were planning on a long stay as opposed to a simple day trip. "I promised Liryn I'd take him with me first but if he doesn't mind the company maybe I could bring you along too sometime." As of right now, she had no intention of visiting her world; perhaps this winter maybe.

"Not just for Mauvians, no," Chip replied with a shake of his head. Not as far as he knew, anyway. And, he figured, he knew a lot...though he very obviously did not know a lot, too. Naturally, the little cat didn't reflect on that contradiction. "Who's Liryn?" Chip asked curiously. "And would you really take a curious little me along who you only just met?" He sounded both amazed and somewhat excited by the possibility. He couldn't remember visiting anywhere other than Destiny City or Negaspace, so the idea of seeing other places--what ever sorts of places they may be--was an exciting prospect. He could see if different things worked better in other worlds! Not everything that worked in negaspace worked in DC, and vise-versa, after all...

“As long as you promise not to shoot me with that forehead beam I know you can do or claw me, I don’t see why not.” Eleonore brought herself down to his level and hugged her knees. Even though he was a chaos cat, that adorable hat he wore was a bit disarming and made her want to just hold or hug him. Perhaps even let him sit in her hood like she’d done with Liryn on a few occasions and walk around a bit with him on her shoulder “Liryn is a mauvian like you are,” She reached a hand out to him invitingly. “Honestly, he’s probably one of my best friends.” He had such an upbeat attitude about most things to the point that their excitement kind of fed off one another at times.

"I only do that sort of stuff when I'm hunting," he emphasized that word with a playful little wiggle, "Or someone's trying to do something bad to me," Chip nodded. "So, I'm sure we'll be fine!" He giggled lightly, andstepped closer, apparently quite happy to be friendly with the enemy. "Another Mauvian, huh?" he asked. He hadn't actually met any order mauvians...not that he could remember, anyway. "That's cool~" he declared cheerfully. There was a distinct possibility the gears in his head were turning on the question of how to make a senshi and her cat friend more... "official" friends. But his tone and actions were quite earnest.

Eleonora laughed and for a moment wished she had either a wheat stock or something to play around and distract him with. She knew that mauvians were far more intelligent than normal house cats but the thought of it made her smile nonetheless. “It’s probably too hot for either of us to take with us, but what do you say about trying to find the space rock in all this mess.” Dirt, rocks and splintered tree limbs littered the area from the impact, but somewhere near the center they’d find their prize. “I’m curious,” Ele stood up and hummed thoughtfully as she considered how best to word her question. “You seem to have this child-like innocence about you.” He spoke with wonder and like everything was a new experience. It could be a facade but she wanted to believe that he was not so deceiving. “How did you end up aligned with chaos? Did someone make you join, or was it your choice?”

Chip's little makeshift scanner disk spun around a little faster as he nodded to the idea of finding the actual meteor, and moved around, looking for a likely place to dig. Her question, though, made him frown slightly. "I, uhm...don't really remember," he replied honestly. "General Hessonite's been nice to me, though, and everybody gets me whatever I tell 'em to, so I think it's worked out pretty nice! Chaos is just the way the world should be, really~" He giggled at that. That some Negaverse people did some terrible things wasn't something that Chip really ever considered...so he didn't consider it now. Chaos just got him what he wanted, most of the time, after all.

Yup, he really was like a little child. Nieve to how the war really worked, but then again wasn’t she to a degree. Hadn’t her twin tried to teach her of the evils they faced, about what chaos was truly capable of? It took almost a year for her to stop living in blissful ignorance simply because she had magic. But when Eleonora had to watch in terror as Alcor grabbed ahold of liryn and ran across the open room as the floor beneath them fractured and fell into a deep abyss. Ele, at that moment, was forced to wake up. She was definitely a bit more careful now but unlike her sister, she wasn’t quite ready to give up her hensin pen. “Here, why don’t I lift you up so you can see above everything. You can guide us to it!” All they needed was a different perspective.
