Ah, springtime. Hands down the best season of the year. Everything was teeming with new life and sprouting higher by the second. You could pause just about anywhere and smell something beautiful, be it fresh cut grass or a bush of wild honeysuckle. Of course there were those who disliked all these wonderful scents and blossoms, and those people suffered from allergies. Sneezing, running noses, itchy eyes, hives...
All signs of weakness. Weakness that could be singled out and exploited.
"Marvelous." Beethoven said, his hands cupped gently around a large, white, camellia blossom. He stared at it almost as a mother would a child and, slowly, coils of green light formed around his feet. How easily he could corrupt these blossoms. He could strangle their life force or imbue them with his power so that they would leave burns and welts on the bodies of those that touched them...
But perhaps that would be a waste of his effort. There were hundreds of these blossoms in this park and it would surely take too much time to kill and corrupt them all. Perhaps he needed to think small, but effective, not grandiose and exhausting. He pouted at the thought and turned to observe some civilians in the distance. Such carefree lives, enjoying the sunshine, their skin so exposed to the elements.
Perhaps he could trip up a few of them and make them wish they'd watched their step. anime_girl10 I hope this is good! I'm heading out to a dinner party in a few so I'll try to tag back asap!

Connie was trying to spend this sunny Saturday relaxing before she'd have to go on portal that evening in what had become her favorite skate park since moving to Destiny City now two years ago. Just on the other side of a park, she loved using to people watch when she wasn't too far into her own thoughts.
Taking on one of the bigger ramps, It was then at it's peak that she noticed someone on the other side of the park that she considered to stand out. The black on green wasn't made, maybe he was taking a breather from a nearby event. She would even suggest leaving church if it had been Sunday but the deep black cracks on his forehead set a pit in her stomach, loosing her footing on the way down as she stumbled into the concert around her. She let her hands take in the warmth before she finally came to her feet as she thought things through.
He didn't look too much older than her and if anything maybe she could tug at that long hair of his. Her stomach turned over as she remembering looking her own long hair just a year ago, her hand reaching up to touch something that was no longer there. She shook her head to gather her thoughts, thankfully the the skate park wasn't super full that day.
Connie ran into one of the tunnels to conceal herself.
"Echo Power, Make Up!"
Picking up her skateboard, Sailor Echo hurried out of the tunnel and quickly towards the direction the enemy was. She know she wouldn't have much of an advantage and he would feel her quickly, but she couldn't risk him going after the civilians in the part.
Her throat felt like it was thick with peanut butter but Echo gathered her courage and started yelling at the people she passed.
"Leave! Get out of here! You're going to get hurt!" Bouquet of Diamonds Ahhh I hope this is ok, I couldn't think of another way to have her enter that wasn't totally boring or weird on my part. xD

Really? Of all times for a senshi to show up, it had to be now? Beethoven sighed. Inconvenient wretches, and to think of just how similar they were. If only they could see how pointless it was to fight against the more powerful side. He stepped away from the bushes and held his hands out toward his enemy.
"Nettle vine!" He called, before jumping back a foot. The same green light as before then shot out across the ground, coiled up, and took the shape of a thick creeping vine. Hopefully it would be enough of a snare for this unwanted company. anime_girl10 It's all good! I'm sorry if my responses are a little awkward. This is my first time battling and I'm still getting a feel for it. |D

Echo was a caught a bit off guard, trying to jump over whatever he had sent sprouting out of the ground, which quickly forced her to ditch her skateboard. While it got caught up in the vines, she was planted into the hard concrete below, scraping up her knees and shin.
Wincing Echo looked back with sadness as her board got ripped up. Nothing she couldn't fix, not that that meant she wanted to have to take the time out to do such things. She looked back at the mystery boy in front of her, "Oops.", letting a awkward smile slip.
Echo quickly waved her hand before her to use her her attack, "Tsk!" Sending about nine pieces of sharp paper towards the enemy. If anything in hopes of giving her time to find her footing again. Bouquet of Diamonds It's ok! I don't have many battles under my belt either and most of them aren't super tough/real. :'D'' XD

Beethoven watched the vine make good work of the skateboard and felt an odd mixture of pride and disappointment wash over him. He'd torn something apart, but not the right something. Did that really count? He made a face as he thought.
Then, something swift and sharp brushed past his cheek. He winced, raised a gloved hand to check for damage, and immediately had to dodge another piece of paper as it entered his field of vision. He more or less danced like this as he tried to dodge the projectiles as they swirled menacingly around him, and raised his hand out again.
"You better not have ruined my face, girl!" He seethed, taking a deep breath. "NETTLE VINE!"
The first vine immediately faded away, leaving the remains of the skateboard lying on the ground. The next vine formed soon after, this time headed straight for Echo. If he was going to have to deal with an unsightly scar, perhaps he could give her something of equal measure.

Echo forced herself up, as he checked himself over, quickly stumbling to her feet. Though not quick enough as he sent the attack again, the vines wrapping up both of her legs and digging into her shins.
"Ahh!" A yell of pain and she started to go to pull them off but stopped herself, trying to think of what to do. "This-!"
She had no idea if her paper would be sharp enough and despite the stinging, itchy pain, she knew it wouldn't actually last long. Doing her best to block out the pain.
In a fit of desperation, she went to shove the boy away in hopes of gaining some space between them; though she honestly didn't know if they were close enough or if he'd be able to send her to the ground.

Luckily for Echo, and not so lucky for Beethoven, he'd been close enough to her for a good shove. The corrupt stumbled backward like a fool and landed unceremoniously in a nearby rosebush. He took a moment to process the now hundreds of thorns tearing into his coat and bite his lip against yowling, before launching himself out of the bush again in fury.
"This is-" He snarled, pausing to assess a tear in his jacket sleeve. Oh, that better fix itself or so help him God. "-Bloody ridiculous! Couldn't you have let me have a little fun? Now you've ruined my outfit!"
He ran his finger over the hole and looked himself over, completely unaware that now might not be the best time to do a fashion check.

Sailor Echo's eyes widen as Beethoven stumbled back into the rosebush, making a big ol' face as she winced for him, a bit aside herself. At look it side tracked her from her own pain for a bit. Watching the boy look himself over before she came to realize. " U-Uh, I'm sorry! I just can't let you hurt these people!" Unraveled from his vines, Echo took the chance of using hers again, " Tsk!" This time sending about seven pieces towards him. Taking that inch into a yard, she pushed her luck to follow it with a kick, thinking he wouldn't be able to block both.

And Echo was absolutely right. Beethoven couldn't block both. His eyes were locked on his clothes until the first sharp blade of paper slashed into him. He raised his gaze as the others circled him and crouched like some kind of confused animal. Distracted and vulnerable, the kick from Echo landed straight in his side, sending him to the ground.
From there, it was evident that Beethoven was getting winded. He struggled back up to his feet and hopped to put some distance between them, before raising his hand again.
"Enough! You've been quite the pest." He growled, clutching his side with his free hand. "Nettle vine!"
The light shot out from under him quite quickly, almost like it were desperate, and a vine swung out from it like a voracious snake. His last bit of magic for now. If this continued, he'd have to start using his fists, and that wasn't something he wanted to do given the kick this girl had sent his way. He'd be bruised for sure.

Echo couldn't help but feel a tiny bit proud of herself as most of the battles she was in either resulted in her getting her butt beaten or a half-assed 'win' she wished she could've earned more cleanly. Seeing him winded, she had hoped he would just call it there and leave but was instead left surprised when he started getting up, going to take a step back when he went to make some distance between them, stumbling a bit.
"Ah-!" The light grabbing her by the arm, Echo struggled to use her other arm to keep the vines from touching her neck or face. This attack suuucks, she thought as the itchy, stingy pain over took her. Defiantly not feeling as well as before, Echo took the chance of using her last attack to cut at the vines early or in hopes to catch Beethoven if he tried to get closed to her.
"Tsk!"
Another few papers spining out from her fuku cuffs.

Nope. Beethoven was not getting any closer unless she decided to come swinging at him. These pieces of paper were awful and they made quick work of any of the vines he'd caught her in. Given the kick to the side and how absolutely done he was with this fight in general, he'd be keeping his distance.
"Are you done?" He snapped, bracing himself as he dodged yet another paper. "Unless you'd like to make this an all out fist fight, I'd rather we part ways and reschedule."
He really didn't mean it, the part about settling this another time. He just didn't want to outright flee like a coward.anime_girl10 Do you think we can finish this up soon? I'm not sure how you're supposed to end a battle, LOL.

Echo was revealed when the vines where cut away, stumbling back onto her butt. A bit winded herself now, she moved to take a knee as she scratched herself all over. She was a bit taken back by his words, as if he didn't have a chance to leave whenever he so wished. Her brows crinkled as she made a face of frustration, but then came a smirk.
"Fine then! Let me just-" Echo stopped scratching long enough to summon her Senshi phone, taking a picture of the boy. "Just give me a name and I'll call you." She taunted, waving her phone in her hand. Of course this was impossible, be it he knew that or not, she could care less. Bouquet of Diamonds Yeah, that's fine! >w< Hope this is ok, I've been working on her phone info and realized she's never submitted to the Nega Database. lol! You can either do the closing post or having him leave and then I can close. I don't mind either way. ^^ Just say "Fin"/"Finished" once the rps ended. :3 PS- your new avi's super cute >w< lol

Beethoven sneered as his picture was taken. If he'd had a modicum of energy left to spare at this moment he would have dove forward and tried to wrestle it from her hands. Alas, he would have to leave it for another day, and perhaps return the favor someday.
"Beethoven." He grumbled, stepping further off the path. "And I hope you're wise with where you post that photograph. If I see it where it shouldn't be, I will hunt you down."
And with that final threat, as weak as it was, he made a hasty retreat into the shadows. anime_girl10 OH, that photo is going to embarrass him to DEATH if he ever finds it. I think I'm good here, though! You can add a closer from Echo if you want to, and let me know if you ever want to battle again in future! (Or meet my other two!) AND THANK YOU SO MUCH. ; w; I love yours, too!

Echo grinned behind her phone as he threatened her, feeling a bit childish but also super proud of herself in her win. A battle in broad daylight much less!
"Sailor Echo!" She called after him, be it he remembered or not.
As much as she wanted to power down, to go home and take a nice hot bath, she also wanted to get this report in while it was fresh on her mind. Finally realizing even to take a breather, she started picking up what she could of her skateboard- if anything she wanted to save her wheels.
Sailor Echo wandered off to somewhere safer to finish her work before she could finally power down. Bouquet of Diamonds Ahhh! I'm so bad, this has me laughing so much. Poor Beethoven! lolol But yes! I'd love to have future rps. biggrin That was fun. x) <3 Ahh haha | FINISHED |
