 Renee was baking cupcakes, big surprise. However, what was a big surprise was that she wasn't baking these cupcakes for an order, but for her own delight. She had decided to bake for herself, today, wanting to experiment with peanut butter and chocolate cupcakes. She had just pulled the baked chocolate cupcakes, from the oven and was scooping out the centers, before setting them on a plate and then onto her windowsill to cool, while Renee prepared the peanut butter frosting.
She liked to think that by setting her cupcakes on the windowsill, which faced the road, that such a thing was its own sort of advertisement, given that the smell tended to carry down the street. Attracting customers with a sweet tooth, she hoped. Her specialized sort of window display!
Maybe instead of attracting a customer, I'll attract a friend this time. She thought as she stirred the buttercream and peanut butter together in a bowl. Or, maybe, Renee thought with a large grin. Maybe I'll attract both!

 Loralei stood up straight and stretched. She had been working all day long in her bakery/candy shop working on several large orders that were due in 2 days time but she needed a break.
Kalie her assistant had an emergency and needed to leave so that meant all the work fell on her to complete. She did not mind, it was fun and kept her busy but right now a small break was in order to clear her mind, uncramp her fingers and work out that spasm in her back from being hunched over so much on this long day.
She decided to take a small walk about town, she was getting hungry a bit and thought a small meal would make her feel better. She could sit down, enjoy it and wander a bit before she needed to go back to her shop and continue working on those orders.
Sighing she pulled off her apron and hair net and went to wash up. Feeling refreshed she headed out the door to explore.
Coming upon a small cafe she went in and was seated quickly outside as she requested. She looked over the menu and chose a salad/sandwich combo and ordered a sweet tea with lemon. As she waited for her food she people watched one of her guilty pleasures. So many different races all mingling in one place! All the colors, patterns, and accents. Before long her food was brought out and she began to eat and watch those around her.
She was finished rather quickly not realizing how hungry she truly was. Sitting back in her seat awaiting her check a delicious smell tickled her nose. When the waitress came by she asked if they were baking in the kitchen she said no and sniffed the air. "Oh that may be Renee she bakes cupcakes out of her home sometimes and has a business it is right down that way" and pointed.
Loralei thanked her, once she received her check she paid promptly leaving a nice tip for the waitress and headed off in the direction shown to her.
It did not take long before she was standing in front of a building with cupcakes cooling on the sill! They smelled delicious it made her mouth water. Wanting to meet the person who made those she walked up and knocked on the door.
The door opened and a brightly colored Fallen smiled at her. "Hello, I followed the scent of cupcakes and it lured me here, do you mind if I purchase a few?" with that she waited for an answer.WC: 433 Total: 433
