They had discussed a heavy topic before lunch and honestly, he had been worried about it still as they sat for the meal. But talking while trying to eat was never comfortable and really the more he thought about it the more at peace he got. There had been a reassurance, they had talked civilly and it had come to a good point. When the topic of new teammates came up a rare thrill came over the man and he got excited by the idea. Something that he hadn't been so interested in before was getting to known his team. For a moment he hesitated but ultimately offered as his smoke from pulled from a pocket, "wanna come up for a bit?" He'd understand if it was a no because Porsha was busy but the extra company and potential body heat was an enticing idea even if they just spent a couple of hours binge-watching something stupid.
