Lieutenant LyonsiteRound two was a gooo! Too bad Starr didn't make it to round two---but to a degree, she was kind of relieved as well. It mean she wouldn't have to fight him. While these matches weren't out to kill or anything, she couldn't exactly imagine having to punch the team's little star senshi. Whew. Lyonsite stepped into the ring with her next opponent, offering him a wide grin as long legs ate the distance between them as she approached. "Yo!" She called out. "Nice jacket you got there---I really dig it!" Some officers just had really cool uniforms, period---but not only was she digging the jacket, her fist was digging somewhere as well once she was close enough to the man.

HP: 14 DMG: 2 Ulrichite stared wide-eyed up at who had to be the tallest woman he'd ever seen as she strode across the stone floor to meet him in the center of the fighting ring. By no means had the redhead ever been considered short, even as a kid and a teen he'd been on the lanky, long side, but next to her he felt positively tiny. Was this how Peacock felt standing next to him and Malaise?She was friendly enough, shouting a greeting as she stopped in front of him, complimenting his uniform. He had time to smile, guard lowering just a bit, and then her fist was colliding painfully with his face and he was staggering back before falling flat on his face with a series of painfully hissed breathes and a groan. "Jesus ********." That'd ******** hurt! Hands had snapped up to cover his mouth and nose, and when they lowered there was blood on his fingers, from one or the other, and bright blues flicked up at the tall woman. He summoned his weapon, fingers closing around the long, blue nerf bat, and as he rolled up onto his knees and took a hard swing at her shins with the thing.

Lieutenant LyonsiteLyonsite's eyes widened slightly as she winced. Oops. She hadn't been aiming for his face but---height difference, and then when one expected to dodge because the fight had started and they didn't then---yeah. Quickly, Lyonsite waved at Starr where she caught sight of light blue in the stands and she was glad to see the other Lieutenant bounce back though. A gasp echoed from the woman as he summoned his weapon---which, hey, was far more useful than her's! Case in point when she felt a sharp smack in her shins. Air shot out between her lips in a short hiss---and since he was down there--- Lyonsite swung one of her legs back and swept the kneeling man, aiming for the middle of his torso.

HP: 9 DMG: - The redhead went down hard, and the only thing that kept his head from bouncing any harder off the stone beneath them was the fact that he'd already been kneeling when the kick happened. A dark starburst flashed across his vision as he hit, that was a dull ache compared to the pain that shot through his chest from her boot impacting with his rib cage. "s**t," he wheezed as he tried to pull in a full breath and only half managed it, not entirely sure right that second that he could get up, but he still tried. Rolling on his side first, then up onto his hands and knees. "You've got some legs." It was a compliment, and maybe a bit of a curse as well, but an uneasy chuckle followed as he pushed unsteadily up to his feet. He didn't even try to retaliate yet. Too wobbly. "Gunna have a b***h of a headache later." Not to mention the bruises. Maybe Peacock would let him soak in a bath when this was all over. Hell, maybe she'd soak in it with him. That'd be nice.

Lieutenant LyonsiteLyonsite grinned at the Lieutenant, and when he was down on the ground, when he was picking himself up, she didn't attack him. She wasn't about playing dirty, not when it was a tournament of skill between allies. She didn't like striking people while they were down. It just wasn't right. The amazon flexed her fingers as she eyed the man, waiting for his next move. "Thanks!" Her grin widened. "My bad about the head shot---Nooot intentional but---height and all yeah, that? If you can't find any aspirin later, hit me up! It's the least I can do."

HP: 9 DMG: 3 Moving hurt, breathing hurt. Neither of which were foreign to him, but this was simultaneously better and worse than waking up with random pains from a blacked out night out that he couldn't remember. It was also sharper, and he wondered if maybe one of his ribs had cracked. One hand on his side, the other holding his weapon, Ulrichite took in a deep, careful breath. A glance at the stands showed Peacock stoically watching, and the offer she'd made at end of his last match came back to him. "Hopefully I'll have that covered, but that's very nice of you." With a small smile he darted forward and brought his arms up like he was going to swing the bat at her again. Instead he took an extra step forward, turning on his heel to jab the end of the handle at her abdomen.

Corrupted Sailor Peacock
She had lost her own battle, which hadn't been entirely unexpected, but still rankled a little, in spite of everything. But at the same time, it hadn't really been a loss so much as it had been a learning experience and a glimpse into the life of a member of the Negaverse.
It just meant she would have to work harder, that was all.
Ulrichite was fighting against a lieutenant by the name of Lyonsite, who looked as though she could have eaten him alive and was setting out to prove that first impression. Peacock was reclining back in the stands, one leg crossed over the other, a lot of tanned thigh showing as she scrutinized the two in the ring.
He'd won his first match; and now it was just a matter of getting past the second.

Lieutenant Lyonsite"Righto!" Lyonsite gave the man a salute, and then they were right back to it. His sudden dash towards her caught her off guard, and the woman let out a grunt as the smaller end of his bat struck her in the gut.

HP: 9 DMG: He made an attempt to follow up the bat handle jab with a hard elbow to her side, but he miscalculated how close they were standing, or she side stepped. Regardless, he almost stumbled as his arm just kept moving.
