The tournament is taking place in the Castle in Negaspace, in a large room that has been designated towards the event. It is very spacious and there is a ring where the participants will fight, as well as seats around it for viewers. You are greeted by General Aurostibite and General Xenotime standing off to the side to monitor
The rules are simple: fight your opponent using whatever methods you have available to you - physical strength or magic - and whoever is left standing at the end is the winner! Aurostibite adds, in a tone of voice that doesn't quite indicate whether he's joking or not, to please try not to kill anyone.Quote: OOC RULES:
- Battles must be completed within 72 hours. If you are unable to do so, or something happens that prevents things or slows you down, you can just roll the dice without adding in RP to determine the outcome. However, please do your best to RP out the battle, this option is only for those situations where it becomes necessary to do so.
- Dice rolling is mandatory! I know it can be frustrating but this keeps everything fair and even.
- Anyone is free to pop into a battle RP, they are open to spectators, whether you are participating in the tournament or not! Any Negaverse agent or Corrupt or Corrupt Cat is free to view the battles, regardless of whether or not they were in signups.
- If you have any questions, please contact kuropeco or Beejoux through Discord or PM! Quote: THE MECHANICS
There will be 2d20 rolled in each intro post. The person with the higher number is the first to attack!
Lieutenant / Basics - 20 HP / 1d8-2 attack (a 0 is a miss) Captain / Super - 30 HP / 1d10-2 attack (a 0 is a miss) General / Eternal - 40 HP / 1d12-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
( how it works: roll the dice - if you get a 4, subtract 2 = your attack is 2! and so on and so forth. If you get a 6, subtract 2 = your attack is 4! )
Roll dice -> RP out attack -> wait for opponent to attack back -> roll dice again until someone's HP is depleted first!
The person the higher HP at the end of the battle (or the one that does not reach 0) is the winner! Quote: DEFENSIVE / HEALING MAGIC
For healing magic: roll 1d4 (first stage), 1d6 (second stage), 1d8 (third stage); whatever number you roll is how much HP you gain back. This takes the place of your attack roll for your turn.
For defensive magic it must be rolled PRIOR to the next attack. Roll the same dice as above, and subtract that amount from the damage done by your opponent.
i.e. :
- Person A rolls a 6 instead of rolling for an attack - Person B attacks with 7 damage - Person A receives 1 damage (7-6)

Corrupted Sailor Peacock of Toxicity
HP: 20 / 20 DMG: 2
So this was Negaspace.
It was purple. Very purple. Almost the same color as Peacock's hair, though she wasn't about to admit to this. She'd been brought here by another agent that was higher up and had dragged Fletcher - Ulrichite - along with her, because like hell she was going to leave him behind and like hell she was doing this alone.
Besides, he needed the training and she had always enjoyed fighting, so here she was.
Her opponent was a pale haired man with tanned skin, but a corrupt such as herself; she could see the cracks in his forehead and chest that matched her own, which still felt a little weird. Peacock gave him an appraising sort of look, her eyebrows raised, a smirk toying at her lips.
"All right, Aladdin," she said airily. "Let's see what you've got."
One booted foot struck out, a kick aimed at his ankle.

Corrupt Sailor Arabia, Senshi of BadlandsHP:18/20 DMG: 0 "Aladdin?" Arabia had been called many things but even that one had somehow never made it out of people's lips. Call it surprise, call it being out of practice but it threw him off guard enough that he was blinking at the female corrupt just long enough for her to kick his foot out from under him with the ankle strike. Down he went with a thud to his backside on the ground of the arena with the grace of a turtle. "Who said go?" The man muttered, rolling away from her to try and avoid being stomped on if he could. kuropeco So like him to completely miss smile

UlrichiteOf all the crazy twists and turns his life had taken this one was taking the longest for him to really settle into. It'd been weeks now, he and Peacock had fallen into a familiar routine of quota gathering, but he was just waiting for Malaise to realize they were going out at night, to question where they were going and why he wasn't with them. It left the new lieutenant anxious and twitchy and almost perpetually on edge. But he was still obedient, still dependent, and when Peacock mentioned the tournament and wanting the both of them to sign up he'd only put up the slightest resistance, and only because he couldn't recall ever having been in a fight before and didn't have any clue how to throw a decent punch. Which...he supposed was the whole point of her insisting he join. It'd be good practice, and his peers were less likely to cause lasting ******** sat in the stands of Peacock's fight and tried very hard to separate from his natural instinct to jump to the petite senshi's defense. She didn't need him shielding her as a civilian, and she certainly didn't need it now. All the same, his fingers to curled tightly against the tops of his thighs.

Corrupted Sailor Peacock of Toxicity
HP: 20 / 20 DMG: NADA
She was aware of Ulrichite in the stands, watching the match, which only made her feel like she needed to kick harder. Not to show off, because if anything, she was not the sort to brazenly strut around with her chest thrown out (unless that was strictly necessary), but to remind Ulrichite that she was fine and that everything they had done to get to this point was also fine. Malaise was an entirely different story she was pretending not to think about, even though he was in her thoughts approximately 50% of the time, but at least with this she could channel her energy into something worthwhile.
A dark brow raised.
"You prefer something else?" Peacock asked, lips curving up into an almost patronizing smile. "I could call you sugar tits. Or baby boo. Or darling. Any preference?"
She'd managed to knock him off his feet, which was satisfying. Small though she was, Peacock was neither a stick nor a lightweight; she knew how to defend herself and knew how to carry herself, and this was just another one of those times.
"Come on, honey, we don't have all day," she said airily, as he senshi rolled onto his side. "Embrace the idea of losing, because that's what's gonna happen here."

Somewhere in the excitement Natrolite had slid into a seat next to Ulrichite. Watching as a very shapely agent took charge of the fight right out of the gate. Natroite had no real interest other than to be annoying here so he yelled as Arabia hit the floor, "now hold him down and fart in his face!" That would at least be more interesting than watching Arabia rolling on the ground. At least the banter here was good, like watching WWE. "COME ON SWEETIE CALL HIS MOTHER A NAME THAT WILL GET HIM GOING!"

Corrupt Sailor Arabia, Senshi of BadlandsHP:18/20 DMG: 0 "Rather embrace you." Arabia shot back with a curt smile as he rolled over his good shoulder and got back to his feet. The distance between them was a safe bet for the moment and hopefully, should she decide to take the next move as well, gave him time to react. Oddly though, the crowd seemed to have more to say than even she did. "Friends of yours?" He asked with a smirk. Insult his mother? Yea. Right. Sure. What was this? Middle school?

Corrupted Sailor Peacock of Toxicity
HP: 20 / 20 DMG: 1
She gave Arabia a withering look.
"Sweetheart, I don't play with strangers," said Peacock sweetly, and would have patted his chest, had she been close enough. As it was, the look in her eyes was not, in fact, sweet at all, but filled with daggers that indicated that she was absolutely not going to allow any sort of flirtation here in the middle of a sparring match in a tournament.
There were catcalls from the crowd. Peacock tossed a disinterested look over her shoulder at the man, then waved him off with an airy flick of one hand.
"He wishes," she said. "Now. Where were we? Oh yes."
Her foot came down abruptly, intending to dig her heel into Arabia's stomach.
"That's right. I was about to steamroll you."

From where Ulrich sat it was hard to tell initially if Peacock had knocked the other senshi senseless or if he just...hadn't gotten himself back up off the ground for some reason. He seemed lucid, but he just wasn't moving much. And ten it dawned on the redhead that the man facing the petite firecracker in the ring didn't have the advantage of prior experience with the woman to know he shouldn't be leaving her any sort of openings.
Peacock was small, but ******** was she fierce. Deceptively strong, fiery, and strong willed, she was definitely the muscle of of their little group.
But that man down there, he didn't know that.
Ulchrite winced as he watched on of Peacock's feet come up to bury a heel in the other senshi's stomach.

Corrupt Sailor Arabia, Senshi of BadlandsHP:17/20 DMG: 5 If Arabia noticed her look, noticed the daggers in her eyes, he didn't bother paying attention to it. Besides, he hadn't meant it as flirting at all. Sometimes wrapping someone up in your arms took away their mode of attack, and given that they were both senshi after all, well, body parts were important. Arabia managed to brace himself just as her foot made contact with his stomach. The impact drew a grunt from him but the proximity gave him an opening. She was tiny after all. A spitfire but tiny. So the man went to wrap his hand around her boot and yanked.

Corrupted Sailor Peacock of Toxicity
HP: 15 / 20 DMG: 5
If there was one thing she disliked, it was arrogance.
Confidence was one thing. Malaise was confident. Lacey herself was confident. Fletcher was not, but he had other redeeming qualities, and being confident in oneself didn't necessarily equate to being arrogant. Arrogant people simply thought too fully of themselves.
And they made mistakes. That was always the case.
Her booted foot managed to graze Arabia's stomach, but she'd miscalculated the amount of strength he'd have to overturn her. Peacock felt her leg swept out from beneath her and threw out her hands to catch her fall, just barely managing not to crack her head on the ground. She landed hard on her shoulder, pain ricocheting through her, but there was no hesitation as she twisted around onto her stomach, kicking out viciously hard in the direction of Arabia's face.

At some point the redhead had moved to sit at the edge of his seat as he watched, blue eyes wide with a mix of worry and pride. He knew she could handle herself, he'd seen it enough times himself to know the petite woman wasn't as delicate as she looked, and head enough fire burning inside her to take down a building. He knew. It didn't make it any easier to watch her hit the ground though, as the other senshi grabbed her boot and yanked. Ulrichite flinched at the sound of the impact, but Peacock never slowed. She hit the ground and kicked up at the other man viciously. And despite the worry, there was something altogether exciting about watching her fight.

Corrupt Sailor Arabia, Senshi of BadlandsHP:12/20 DMG: 4 Arabia shifted his head just in time to not lose his nose completely. Those boots were more of a weapon that the tiny woman wearing them! Still, there was something to be said for a person fighting with anger. He'd been there enough times to know that fighting because of your damaged pride, your ego, your personal demons, put you at open risk. He had Meri to thank countless times over for that reminder. Still, he was technically only human and made plenty of mistakes. In an attempt to avoid this becoming a kick to the face war, Arabia took a chance at making one of those mistakes. Jerking his bruising face away from her devilish boots, Arabia shifted to sit up, aiming to bring his elbow down in the small of her exposed back. Shanyume Mental reference to you my dear

Corrupted Sailor Peacock of Toxicity
HP: 11 / 20 DMG: 0
She hadn't taken karate, but she'd certainly learned how to defend herself because she'd long since decided that no one was going to do that for her. There wouldn't be a time when people would come to save her; she was not a damsel in distress, and she was not going to simply let people walk all over her.
Which was part of why she was using her heels as advantage, because why the hell wouldn't she use all of the assets she could?
Arabia's elbow came down on her back before she could get up, pain splintering up and down her spine. Peacock let out a growl of anger, hissing through her teeth, her fingers grinding on the ground beneath her, trying to get air back into her lungs.
