A nameless island completely overtaken by wilderness, known only as Shizenkai (the Natural World). There are no signs of human life here, so plants and animals flourish in ways unseen in the Shinobi Countries. Some areas are drenched in the Chakra of the behemoths, who tend to remain hidden in the environment. The leader, Admah, sleeps at the peak of the mountain at the center of the island, itself said to be an even more ancient behemoth. He is slow to act and respects calmness, which is not necessarily the case for the others. Different regions of the island house different climates for the different behemoths.
✘ Posting You must make ten posts of traveling Shizenkai and confronting the behemoths that live here. Your tenth post should then be confronting Admah. ✘ Anyone who was auto-ranked without good reason will be stripped of their summon ✘ Number Generator When you attempt to gain the Elder's trust you must generate a number to succeed. Bast awoke with a start to find herself in a bush, of all places. She had been who knows how far underground in the middle of a desert, but now she was on what looked to be a bright, sunny, forested island. Still reeling from the shock of being summoned against her will, she picked herself out of the bushes.

The ball the catlike creatures had been playing with had rolled part of the way down the beach toward the ocean, only to get stuck on a rock. She retrieved it out of a sense of duty, only to find that there was a very odd gemstone underneath all the dirt and grime it had accumulated sitting in that cave. It had a cat's eye pattern that started brown on the outside and pinched in to a blue iris. She thought she saw a thread of yellow in there that looked like text, but when she looked closer, the two lightning cats popped out, scaring her half to death.

While the cats seemed friendly enough, Bast had dealt with much too much already that day. She gave them a curt nod and practically jogged away from them, pushing through tall grass and hopping gracefully over streams with the ball under one arm. That went well until one of them popped out of a bush, startling her and sending her stumbling into the water.

Bast picked herself up, or she would have liked to, if it weren't for the waves heaving her upward again, leaving her on her feet but soaked from the waist down.
"Aw, you've got something dark under all that white," an unknown voice sighed.
Bast whipped around and found herself looking at a cat-like fish, or perhaps a fish-like cat, that was perched on a rock a short distance off the shore.

"Thank you for your help," Bast said, giving voice to the first thing that came to mind. She would've said more, but the reappearance of the electric cats caused her to jump and run off again.
"Not even a reaction? Where'd you find this one?" the water creature complained as it slunk back down into the waters.

This time, Bast headed inland. After about an hour of walking, she tripped over what she initially thought was a branch, but which ended up being a horn attached to a hulking behemoth of a creature.
"You look cold. Head that way and dry off," it suggested, jerking its head in what looked like a random direction. Bast bowed, thanked it, and headed off.

"Sweetie, that's-- you look lost. Do you need help?" The beast was following at an easy walk behind the woman, who was jogging just to keep out of reach of its impressive horns. She wasn't quite sure what to make of it, with its rocky carapace and otherwise bearlike appearance. It looked right at home here in the forest, but where was this?

"I, uh, I'm fine, I think," Bast reassured the creature as she passed through the trees and into a rocky clearing.
"You need a hand, you come let me know, dear," the beast called after her, sounding more like a doting grandma with every exchange. Not to be deterred, Bast soldiered on through the rocks, feeling relief as the heat radiating off the ground started to dry her.

The stench of sulfur was overwritten the moment it hit Bast's nostrils by the scent of straight-up fire. This time it was a hulking mass of muscle and flame wreathed in smoke that approached the woman, roaring at her to leave and by all appearances getting ready to attack. It wouldn't get the chance, though, as the lightning cats once again popped out of nowhere, spooking the woman something fierce and sending her skittering away. At least her clothes were dry now.

At long last, Bast found herself on a rocky outcropping overlooking... the sea, again. This place really was an island, and an enormous one at that. That was when the earth shifted under her feet, prompting her to jump back in panic, nearly losing the cat's eye gem she'd been carrying in the process. From the land rose an enormous head, one seemingly belonging to the land itself. After a moment's pause, she greeted it with a bow.
"Where did you find that?" the earth rumbled at her.
"A cave, where two cats were playing with it," she answered succinctly. She figured it was best not to upset the landscape if at all possible, given that she might have to live here for a while.

"Leave," the mountain grunted as it lowered its head once more. Before she knew what was happening, Bast felt a pull from the orb. Once again, she was being reverse-summoned against her will. This was not a good day.

Almost as soon as she'd been sent off by the mountainous creature in the ground, Bast appeared again elsewhere on the island. Something kept calling her back to the island, and she was pretty sure it was whatever this cat's eye gem was. It seemed to have some sort of connection to these creatures, and she had to get to the bottom of what, exactly, that connection was. Not wasting any time, she assimilated herself into rock and spread out over the island until she found the spot where she had encountered the giant creature last time.

"Wake up!" Bast shouted at the hillside, loitering a significant distance away from where she remembered the head being. Slowly, the earth rumbled and she found herself looking at the enormous face again. It didn't look pleased.
"My name is Miyamoto Bastet, and I don't mean to cause you any harm!" she opened. She held up the orb that the electric kittens had been playing with earlier, which she now possessed. The memory made her shudder. "I encountered two cat-like beings playing with this ball, and was subsequently brought here. I want to know: who are you, and what is this thing?"

((Thought it was 2 posts for a retry, but apparently I was mistaken.))
"Bab, Rai, very strange," the mountainous being rumbled. Its voice shook the earth right up through Bast's stone body. "Stone belonged to forebear. Now it's yours."
