Eirlys was very happy with her mate, Verona. To have found someone who loves the Winter Solstice as much as she did was amazing.

Their time together seem magical and full of life to her, she looked forward to every second she could spend with Verona. Owning her own store was seen as a good and bad thing. Good in the way she had the freedom to leave whenever she wished due to having a very competent staff to run the daily duties but a bad thing in the hours she had to work.

Part of her felt the need to spoil Verona the other part felt the need to spend as much time with her as possible it was a no win situation for Eirlys either way or so she thought.

One day while at her store a woman came in with a young child. They approached the counter and the little freshling shyly asked about candles. She wanted to get her foster mother something special as a gift for taking her in. Tears welled up in Eirlys's eyes as she heard this.

She smiled brightly at the freshling and began to ask simple questions to get to know what their foster mother liked. It seemed by the answers she favored the Vanilla scent which Eirlys had in several different candles.

She allowed the child to handle the candles and smell each one they wished to until the found the perfect candle. They even had their own money which was not enough for that candle but Erilys told them it is on sale! Which the freshling beamed with a huge smile and said "My lucky day!" and bounced up and down.

That moment made her realize she wanted a child or two with Verona. To have a child of their own with a smile like that would complete her.
