And Jackal disagreed. Alone, they could do what they wanted. They wouldn't have to negotiation about much at all. Jackal wouldn't have to share time with the kid. It'd be all theirs, and only theirs. They would be able to make all the decisions; Name, clothes, breakfast, dinner, choice of school hobbies...
It was almost selfish, but with how much time Jackal took to prepare a room for the kid...Well, they were ready. They could even take the kid with them on dates!
