Strider was walking about the kingdom when she came to a lovely garden and took a big breath in of the plants and flowers that were inside the garden. She was so happy that she found this place and hoped that noone would mind her being there. Strider had with her a small basket to put the flowers in once she found some that she liked but didn't know if she could pick them or if she had to leave them where they were at in the garden. There were all colors and sizes of plants and flowers inside the garden . She walked further into the garden hoping to find a nice bench to sit at and rest her tired feet a few minutes but so far she was not finding one , so she kept on walking and smelling the flowers. " I truly am in love with this place" she thought to herself as she strolled over to where the roses where at in the garden. Strider had never seen so many flowers before and she wished that she had a camera to take pictures but she was without one right now and was still enjoying touring the garden for the first time . " I hope that I can make some friends here soon. I hate being alone." she thought and started to feel alone here as she had just arrived here two days ago.

The sound of heavy cladding armor echoed in the air of the garden. ”HALT, HUMAN!” A strong voice echoed loudly. Elves dressed in various forms of golden and orange armor sprinted full force into the garden. The elves surrounded Strider. Weapons of various types in hand. A few of them holding magic ready to fling at strider and stun her. A few elves descended from the sky. Circling strider as well. A total of 15 elves trapped Solaris within their circle. One of them stepped forward. Pointing to her with his spear. ”You are not permitted to be here! By the order of the Solar Warriors, you are under arrest! Come quietly or we will not strike you down! The elven knight commanded strongly.

Strider jumped as she was scared out of her mind now and then looked down at the elves for a minute before replying " I am sorry" then began to cry a little because she being threatened by the elves. She didn't know what she should do and just listened to the elves and hoped that she would not get thrown into some sort of jail on her first day of being there. " I didn't know that I couldn't come here , what should I do to clear this misunderstanding up with you ?" she replied in a scared voice trying to not anger them more then they already were.

”Don’t play dumb, filthy human! No human is permitted here unless they’re servants of The High Mother, All Father or the royal children!” The elf snipped pressing the blade of his spear to her throat. Another elf walked over and snapped their fingers. Magical chains appeared, looping themselves around Striders hands. Binding Strider’s hands together; seizing her in their control. ”The High Mother and All Father shall place their judgment; until then your cell awaits. COME!” The commanding elf shouted as they shoved Strider forward. The other 14 elves began leading strider to her prison cell. (exit)

✭✭✭ Even though it had been quite some time since an intruder was last scene in the gardens the guard was still on high alert. The royals were very protective over what was theres and so periodically warriors from different guards would be sent to do some patrol, today it was the Lunar Guardians' turn and they picked Mari to do it. "Guard the flowers they said. It will be quick they said. This garden is endless! I want some real action!" Mari complained out loud with a loud sigh as she walked around the area. Then suddenly she heard some rustle and drew her double edged sword. One unique feature of her sword was that it could come about and be split into two, so with a quick twist she separated them and held two blades out at the ready. Instantly the intruder's hands went up as he said "Woah hey watch where you point that thing sis!" Immediately Mari reconnected her swords and re-strapped it onto her back. Recognizing her baby brother she walked up to him and gave him a hard punch on the shoulder. "Ow! What was that for!?" He shouted as he rubbed the now sore spot. "For almost getting your throat sliced open by me!" "And that would be my fault how!?" He asked in response to Mari's seemingly insane answer.
For a few seconds all went quiet. The two exchanged their own pouty looks at each other before soon breaking out into a fit of laughter. Honestly, many thought that Mari and Khal were twins with the way they got each other. No matter what they always seemed to be in a better mood with each other and any argument they had typically was quickly solved. At this point, everyone was aware that the two were inseparable.
After their fits of laughter slowly faded Mari was quick to change the tone of the conversation. "By the way Khal," Mari said, suddenly growing a little more quiet which was a signal that this was going to be a serious talk. "How is... your chest?" Mari knew that Khal didn't like talking about his mark much so she tried to be careful when she approached him about it. Looking her straight in her blue eyes Khal said with a smile, "Nothing I can't handle." Upon hearing that Mari knew, because she always knew what was behind her brother's words, that it was acting up again. "Is it bad? Do you need me to touch up the pain rune on your face?" As she asked she went to touch Khal on the shoulder and immediately he spun around and roughly grabbed her wrist. His eyes were wide and you could see a slight panic in them. Seeing that look Mari instantly felt guilty. She sometimes forgot that Khal was sensitive to touch. Ever since their family hurt him the way that they did he needed to be aware when someone was about to put their hands on him and what their intention was. "I'm sorry Khal. I-I didn't-" and before Mari could finish Khal released her and stepped away. He faced away from her in shame and replied, "No, it's my fault. I didn't mean to put my hands on you like that I just... I'm fine. I promise I will inform you if the pain becomes too much. I'm doing better now than I was this morning. But please... No more talk of this now," Khal softly begged.
Generally speaking, Khal's pain was not a secret. Most of the elves in the castle knew that the rune on his face was one of healing. It didn't heal cuts or bruises, but rather the feeling of pain (and even that it couldn't get rid of completely). Such runes were usually used on those who had some incurable disease and while that wasn't Khal's case that is what him and his sister decided to go with. They claimed Khal had a birth defect which lead to him having a weakened heart and lungs. With this excuse Khal was able to get out of having to be a Lunar Guardian in order to stay in the kingdom and instead was taken in as a servant. At times, Khal was given strange looks for his rune. People seemed to be waiting for him to drop dead or something. The scary thing is Khal wasn't sure if one day he would suddenly die because of the mark on his chest. He just hoped that if that day came Mari wouldn't blame herself. That is the only true fear Khal has in regards to dying. What would become of his sister when he was gone? Inside themselves both Mari and Khal knew she wouldn't be able to just move on. Something in her would break if anything happened to Khal, and what she'd do afterwards... That's something neither of them could predict. ✭✭✭ ═━┈┈┈━═ ✭Mari's Love Interests: No one of name yet wink ✭Khal's Love Interest: I'm not sure if I'll ever find love... ✭Mari's Wearing: (In image) and her double-edged sword is strapped to her back ✭Khal's Wearing: Casual Wear #1 (The black version of this outfit) and the necklace in his picture

*Mahanon, Lunar Guardian* "A lesson in runes will do you right...come" Mahanon was roaming the castle all day. In truth he wanted to be locked away in his study. Diving head first into a sea of texts and tomes that housed endless knowledge of runes and their various forms. Sadly, some foolish human roamed where they weren't supposed to. So now the castle guards and it's various factions were on high alert. Mahanon found his way towards the gardens. Hearing voices he followed the sounds inside. "Well, Glad to see I am not alone" Mahanon voiced sweetly towards Kamari and Khalfani. Mahanon was a short and adorable 4'8. The dark elf's sparkling grey eyes matched his long and lustrous grey hair. Mahanon was dressed in an all black outfit. A form fitting long sleeved shirt, black tights that hugged and shaped perfectly to his oddly curvy body. Topped off with heeled ankle booties. What looked like two war fans were attached to his hip on each side. Mahanon walked further into the garden. Noticing who he was speaking to, Mahanon kept his smile. "You're the new Lunar Guardian, Welcome to the order" Mahanon spoke elegantly to Kamari. Mahanon gave an elegant and friendly bow to her. "We didn't have time to truly meet, I am Mahanon; I too am with the Lunar Guardians" Mahanon smiled as he explained himself. Mahanon's sparkling grey eyes met noticed someone else and looked over. "H-how rude of me...I am so sorry..it is also nice to meet you as well.." Mahanon blushed as he fully noticed Khalfani. Mahanon gave a flustered bow to Khalfani as well. Okay so, this was apparent. Khalfani was extremely handsome. Was he too a Lunar Guardian? No, he was dressed more so as a servant of the castle. Interesting. Mahanon didn't see too many dark elf servants. "The High Mothers shadow...is where I walk"

✭✭✭ Mari and Khal were caught off guard by the sudden arrival of another elf. Khal immediately faced away from the man, feeling embarrassed about how he had just acted with his sister. He could only hope that the man didn't see or hear any of that but if he did Khal would let his sister make up an excuse. She was the better liar between the two.
Mari too felt uncomfortable with the interruption and under normal circumstances she'd tell the strange to p*ss off, however, she knew she had to play nice with the other Lunar Guardians. For better or for worse this was their home now and in order to stay they both had to perform their duties. Honestly, Mari couldn't imagine this place being any worse than her and Khal's family so she was willing to at least try to make things work here. "You seem familiar. I'm sure we've seen each other in training but just haven't spoken. I'm Kamari Hazelyn and this..." Mari said, taking a pause to look over at her brother who still had his back turned. "This is my little brother who is usually super polite but seems to be throwing a rare temper tantrum." Upon hearing his sister's comment Khal quickly spun around and shouted, "Mari!" Khal responded with a small blush of embarrassment which made his sister laugh. After a moment Khal shot her a small smile though to let her know that everything was alright. He wasn't mad about their previous interaction and by now he was used to her teasing. There were very few things that Mari could do that would truly anger Khal.
"Unfortunately, my sister is right. I was being rude. I honestly didn't know there was anyone else out here," and before Khal could say much more the Lunar Guardian before him bowed to him which confused both Khal and Mari. Since Khal had arrived most of the dark elves he had run into were more rude to him than kind. Due to the cover story of Khal being sickly he was picked on for being weak. One guardian even said that Khal was a disgrace to all dark elves, but Mari sure shut him up. He was going to report her for her violence towards him, however, Mari continued to threaten him and dared him to speak up. She said if he ever said another bad thing about her brother, or if he spoke of her beating him up, she'd show him her true strength. Luckily, that was enough to scare the guardian into letting it go, but when Mari wasn't around Khal still got weird looks and a few passive aggressive comments here and there.
After Mahanon bowed Khal didn't really know how to react so he just bowed back since Mahanon was of a higher position than him after all. "I'm undeserving of such treatment considering the state you have found me in. It is a pleasure to meet you Mahanon. I am Khalfani Hazelyn, but please just call me Khal. If I'm not wrong, you are said to be one of the best in runology right? I believe I've heard your name mentioned before by others around the castle." Hearing this Mari immediately perked up a bit. If Mahanon truly was that good at runes perhaps she could use his knowledge to try to help her brother. "Oh, now I definitely recall you! I've heard other Lunar Guardians discussing your brilliance. I must say I'm a bit surprised-" Mari was going to say since Mahanon kind of looked like a child she wouldn't expect him to be so knowledgable, but Khal was able to tell that she was about to make a rude comment and gave her a nudge with his elbow. "I believe my sister was going to say she is surprised that you'd be out here at this time. I imagine a master of runes would much prefer the company of books over a simple servant and a new guardian." ✭✭✭ ═━┈┈┈━═ ✭Mari's Love Interests: No one of name yet wink ✭Khal's Love Interest: I'm not sure if I'll ever find love... ✭Mari's Wearing: (In image) and her double-edged sword is strapped to her back ✭Khal's Wearing: Casual Wear #1 (The black version of this outfit) and the necklace in his picture

*Mahanon, Lunar Guardian* "A lesson in runes will do you right...come" Mahanon watched as the siblings interacted with one another. One would think they were twins. Their closeness was refreshing and hilarious to a point. Finishing each others sentences, butting into one's sentences. The sharing of their energy. A real family dynamic. Mahanon raised his hand and covered his mouth as he let out a small laugh. "I'm sorry...it's just refreshing to see siblings this close" Mahanon said through his small laughter. Mahanon ceased his laughter and smiled to the two dark elves. "Normally we have to deal with the royal siblings and their bickering..hehe" Mahanon explained as another giggled escaped his lips. Mahanon's grey eyes studied the two closely. More so studying Khal much closer than he studied the sister. The rune that was placed on his face. The placement was odd for the story they told everyone of their backstory. Mahanon simply tucked that piece of information away in the back of his mind for now. After all, it was truly his place to question it. Even though he wanted to so badly. The tinier dark elf blinked as the two continued to speak. "I'm honored to meet you. Kamari and Khal...." Mahanon spoke sweetly to the two with a warm smile. Then the mentioning of his skill with runes had risen. Tilting his head, Mahanon listened as the two spoke their sides. Mahanon raised a brow as Khal seemed to have cut off his sister. Was something rude going to be sad? Mahanon gave a simple blink and placed a hand on his hip. Mahanon gave another small giggle then. "It would seem my reputation proceeds me" Mahanon giggled a bit again. "Well I am a Lunar Guardian. When the High Mother calls, I come through the shadow they cast" Mahanon said calmly as he recited a piece of the Lunar Guardian's Oath. Mahanon's sweet smile to a slightly more prideful appearance then. "You're correct; I would rather much be studying as many tomes and texts on runes as much a I could fit in one day; but I guess we can't always get what we want" Mahanon said giving a small smile to the two. "But even then, I still do enjoy the company of others...especially if they're as warm and comical as you...." Mahanon said to the two. As he said that Mahanon was looking more towards Khal. Noticing his slight blushing and staring Mahanon then shared his gaze with Kamari. "Be careful...the princess Hana tends to the garden. If something brings even the slightest of harm to her gardens; let's just say hell will be on earth" Mahanon giggled trying to move the subject along. Hoping Khal and Kamari didn't notice his blushing and staring. "The High Mothers shadow...is where I walk"

✭✭✭ Kamari and Khal sometimes forgot that how they interacted often separated them from other people. They were so close that often the two would often just enter their own little world together and anyone else with them would suddenly become a third wheel. For Mari, this wasn't an issue. Her brother was her number 1 priority after all. For Khal, on the other hand, while he loved his sister we really did want them both to start making other connections. Mari had friends in early childhood but the closer she got to Khal the more she separated herself from others since her friends from the cult also used Khal to their advantage. She saw it as her job to protect him, but it wasn't. At least not now that they were grown.
Looking at Mari Khal had a sort of sympathetic look in his eyes. While he never told her this, he often blamed himself for her misfortunes. If he wasn't born Mari would still have friends, a family, and would be able to live peacefully in their old cult. There would be no running, hiding, or lying unless that was what she truly wanted. With this in mind Mahanon's words seemed to ring very true, we can't always get what we want.
Remembering that there was a stranger present though Khal was quickly to wipe that look off his face and put on his typical warm smile. "My apologies. My sister and I can get carried away with our foolishness," Khal said as Mari started to pick up on the way that Mahanon was looking at him. Having a flirtatious nature herself, Mari was easily able to pick up on the signs of desire. The slight redness of the cheeks, the constantly glances, the guy was clearly attracted to Khal but was probably shy. Deciding that maybe a little flirting could do wonders for Khal, Mari decided to take a leave. "You bring up a fair point Mahanon. I wouldn't want to risk upsetting our princess. As a rather new guardian maybe I should focus a bit more on training. Besides, Khal is of a much more gentle nature than me. Isn't one of your duties to help maintain the health of the garden anyway Khal?" Not quite seeing where Mari was going with this, Khal slowly nodded. "I suppose. I was only asked to check up on the garden. Being rather new still I am not fully trusted with the care of the plant life yet. I thought you knew that." Khal found Mari's behavior strange. She was never one to down play her talents. Despite being new she had spent her whole life training. She was just about as skilled as anyone else here.
"Well then I better not distract you. So I'm going to go train since from what I can see the gardens look safe. If anything were to happen though I'm sure Mahanon here, being an experienced guardian, could prove way more helpful than little ol' me. So for now, I'll take my leave. It was nice meeting you Mahanon. Perhaps we can talk runes at some point. As for you little brother, just keep being you." And on that note Mari walked off, leaving the boy alone. Khal was honestly very confused about what just happened but he was past the point of trying to understand all of Mari's lies. He was sure she had a reason for lying about needing to train, but he figured he could ask her later.
Now with just him and Mahanon left Khal focused all his attention on the smaller man. For the first time he really took in the man. He was indeed very small, but he had a presence that suggested age and wisdom. His grey hair and eye combo was something Khal hasn't seen much of and it made him wonder about Mahanon's lineage, but he knew for some people that was a rather personal subject. Instead, he decided to keep things light and casual to not scare the man off. "And once again I find myself having to apologize for my sister. I think she just dumped her duties on us. I promise she isn't neglectful or lazy, I think she just needs more... stimulating activity. She's very much a warrior at heart," Khal said with a small chuckle. "I suppose you are right to find us comical. The more I think of it the more I realize how odd of a pair we are, but what can I say? She's my sister and my best friend. I'll stand by her until death claims me. I'm sure a Lunar Guardian like you, who has sworn their life to the High Mother, must understand that feeling of loyalty." ✭✭✭ ═━┈┈┈━═ ✭Mari's Love Interests: No one of name yet wink ✭Khal's Love Interest: I'm not sure if I'll ever find love... ✭Mari's Wearing: (In image) and her double-edged sword is strapped to her back ✭Khal's Wearing: Casual Wear #1 (The black version of this outfit) and the necklace in his picture

*Mahanon, Lunar Guardian* "A lesson in runes will do you right...come" Mahanon blinked at the sudden change of Kamari. Leaving so soon? Did he say something to upset her? No, Kamari was acting tactful and Mahanon caught on. The tinier elf blinked and nodded his head waving goodbye to her. Mahanon was now left alone with Khalfani. Kamari you analytical genius, Mahanon had thought. Looking back to Khalfani, Mahanon nodded his head slightly. "I'm an only child, so I very much do enjoy seeing siblings work and interact with one another. And with me always hearing the royal children bicker? You and your sister a very refreshing haha" Mahanon said as he let out a small giggle again. Then came the statements of loyalty. Mahanon crossed his arms and gave a small nod. Mahanon studied the gardens. It's true, the garden was breathtaking. Princess Hana and her power did wonders in the garden. Every single plant and flower was healthy and thriving. "The loyalty of family is far greater than the loyalty to a source of power" Mahanon said a bit seriously then. Mahanon was examining a bundle of glowing blue roses. His favorite type of rose. They were glowing in the shade they sat in. "I-..I mean; the bond you and your sister have? Sits far greater than any loyalty to a ruler. It's much more powerful, I envy you..haha" Mahanon said quickly finishing his statement to not sound so serious. The giggle from his was a bit more nervous now. Mahanon turned and smiled to Khalfani. "But yes, I do understand loyalty" Mahanon said smiling to the much taller elf. Mahanon looked over as a few Emerald Knights and Solar Warriors were roaming around. Doing their patrol as they were commanded. "To think..a human caused such a stir...haha" Mahanon made a small joke about the amount of extra guards patrolling around. "The High Mothers shadow...is where I walk"

✭✭✭ "I'm sure the bickering of the royal children is normal for them. Sometimes people show love in different ways. Perhaps words just aren't how they express theirs. Kamari and I still get into it now and then, but we bounce back quickly. In the end we are all each other has so we don't let petty disagreements come between that," Khal replied as he and Mahanon started walking through the garden. "But I speak too much of her. We are our own people still, but I think even we can forget that at times," Khal said as he noticed Mahanon's interest in a specific type f blue rose. Perhaps blue was one of his favorite colors? Seemed fitting since blue and grey often complimented each other nicely.
When the topic od discussion changed to being about loyalty to family versus the royals, Khal was hesitant to respond. He worried about being punished for his words, and even more so feared putting his and his sister's positions at risk. But if Mahanon was willing to make such a statement Khal thought that maybe talking more casually would be alright. But still, he saw himself as owing the royal family. Despite them not knowing it, their agreement to take his sister and him in saved them and he was thankful for that. "I suppose it depends on the family and the person. All families are complex, nothing is ever black and white in that area. As a result, the bonds formed may also prove to be complex," Khal explained as he found himself kneeling near some of the glowing flowers and gently running a single finger across some of the petals. He maintained his warm smile, but his thoughts drifted to a dark place for a moment. Faces of people from his own home appeared through his mind. Some not so bad, some manipulative, some just outright cruel, and then his mother....
Khal stood up and turned his attention away from the bright flowers back to Mahanon upon hearing him stutter out that he was envious of his bond with his sister. This made him laugh as he replied, "Thank you. I'll take that as a high honor. I'm sure you must have someone in your heart similar to how my sister is in mine though. I find it hard to believe that anyone is ever truly alone in this world. You could even have someone who cares for you more than you realize," kind of ironic coming from the oblivious Khal who wasn't even able to pick up on Mahanon's interest.
With the conversation now switching over to being being about the human Khal looked around and saw more guardians appearing. He thought they were taking shifts, but perhaps new orders had recently been given? Or maybe it was just a quiet day and everyone was trying to find something to pass the time? Either way, the garden was very protected at the moment. "It might be the greater threat that the human represents the is causing such a worry. An intruder, from a far off place, was somehow easily able to enter castle grounds. Even if that one human was of no threat, whose to say that a bigger threat could also easily storm the castle? If a single human could do it why not 5? Or 10? I think ti wise for the royals to investigate this. If that one human was an assassin... Who knows what they could have done?" Realizing that perhaps his theories were him speaking out of turn, who wanted to listen to the thoughts of a servant anyone? Khal quickly followed up with, "But again I am nothing more than a servant. These matters go beyond what I can comprehend." ✭✭✭ ═━┈┈┈━═ ✭Khal's Love Interest: I'm not sure if I'll ever find love... ✭Khal's Wearing: Casual Wear #1 (The black version of this outfit) and the necklace in his picture

*Mahanon, Lunar Guardian* "A lesson in runes will do you right...come" Mahanon walked the garden with Khalfani. It was nice to actually meet someone who wasn't eager to go train instead of simply talking. Mahanon's heeled booties clicked against the stone slabs of the garden they walked across. Mahanon felt as if he could listen to Khalfani talk all day. It was refreshing. "I did have a few....my parents" Mahanon began as he kept walking along with Khalfani. "My parent's were Solar Warrior and a Lunar Guardian; they were sent on an escort mission...." Mahanon said as his face dulled for a moment. Mahanon stopped by another bundle of glimmering blue roses. "They had my absolute loyalty....they were incredible" Mahanon said smiling at the thought of them. His parent's were proud and strong. Truly loving parent's who gave their all for their only child, Mahanon. Mahanon gave a soft sigh as he shrugged his shoulders. He looked back to Khalfani with a small smile. "I guess the High Mother is the one to hold my absolute loyalty...until something else gains it" Mahanon smiled with a small giggle. Mahanon continued to walk the garden with Khalfani. Mahanon listened to his words and took them deeply into consideration. "Normally the Emerald Knights and Solar Warriors have a strong hold on patrolling the castle" Mahanon hummed to Khalfani as they walked. "The Lunar Guardians are normally sleeping during this time. We roam in a cloak of shadow. The night is our day time. When The High Mother casts their shadow we awaken. Ready to defend or serve their purpose" Mahanon explained how the Lunar Guardians normally work to Khalfani. Mahanon gave a small hum as he walked with the much taller dark elf. "Now that I think about it; Word has spread that Prince Christof went to the kingdom of demons. He killed several demons. All for the sake of gaining the power of one of the ancient elven strongholds" Mahanon said a bit seriously now. This could be the reason why that supposed human appeared so easily? "We all have been on high alert cause of the matter, yet it is very rare for the demon monarchy to use a human of all species for that kind of matter....hmmmm" Mahanon hummed as he began to think. His tiny hands gracefully cupping his cheek. His cheek resting in the palm of his hand. His other arm looped around his hip. Clear this was a natural position of thinking for him. Mahanon broke from his trail of thoughts. Blinking as his glowing grey eyes looked to Khalfani. "Khalfani, not everyone dismisses the word of a servant. To some, including myself; a person is a person. You have a mind, and if my intuition is correct you have a brilliant mind" Mahanon complimented Khalfani flashing him a radiant smile. "It was very wise of them to increase security during this time" Mahanon said agreeing with Khalfani. "If you ever need anyone to share your brilliant mind with, please seek me out. I surely could go for more company" Mahanon smiled with a small giggle to Khalfani. A few other Lunar Guardians ran by. They were eager to go get some extra training in. A few Solar Warriors followed behind them. A few Emerald Knights simply walked by. "The High Mothers shadow...is where I walk"

✭✭✭ Khal fell silent as Mahanon spoke of his parents. He could tell something dreadful had happened due to the use of past tense, but it wasn't his place to pry. He would only hear what Mahanon felt comfortable saying, nothing more. "I see... The bonds between parents and children can be quite strong," Khal said with a sympathetic look. He himself still loved his mother despite everything, but he had nothing but ill feelings for the father he never knew. "I'm sorry for your loss. I don't know how long ago that mission was... but some wounds never heal completely."
Eventually the two came across a bench in the garden that was near an assortment of colorful flowers. Khal was the first to take a seat and then he motioned for Mahanon to join him. The young man was probably the nicest person he has met at the castle so far so he wanted to show him kindness in return, and the best way he knew how was to listen. "I know your life is none of my business, especially since we just met, so I'll just say that the pain of loss you feel is not something you must carry alone." Yet another somewhat ironic piece of advice since Khal always tried to shoulder his burdens alone as well.
To not cause the man too much discomfort Khal didn't pressure him to go on. Instead he allowed the conversation to flow into the subject of the demon kingdom, which made Khal a little tense. He had never been to the demon kingdom but he knew their reputation and that his father was a noble there. A noble who would never recognize him if they met face to face since Khal was nothing more than a part of a deal he made. "I'm afraid that I don't know much about the elven strongholds, but I know that such a mission probably has the chance of starting a war. If the prince was to kill one of the members of the royal demon family they'd surely wage war, and if they killed the prince then the High Mother and Father would surely declare war. It almost seems inevitable so I can only pray that somehow more choas doesn't come from this."
Despite being a trained fight who enjoyed sparring, Khal was not a fan of violence overall. His peaceful nature was rare among his dark kind, especially considering that he harbored demon blood, but it was just who he is. Or at least he hoped. Since he feared becoming a monster Khal always tried to do good, but what made one good? How was he to know?
Then Mahanon made it clear to Khal that unlike many he didn't discriminate bases on rank. Khal was actually surprised to hear that Mahanon found him wise and the unexpected compliment caught him off guard. "Brilliant, me? I think nlt. I'm a mere observer and after observing for so long you learn something," Khal said with a soft smile. He was never good at receiving compliments. You'd think he would considering how in his youth he was always praised, but maybe it was because that praise came at a cost that he was unable to accept anymore of it easily. "But nevertheless, I most certainly will seek you out again. You are probably the first truly friendly person I've met here. I can't exactly blame anyone for their treatment of me. I'm an outsider who they know nothing about. I understand them needing to be cautious. However, it is nice to meet someone who neither seems to pity or question me instantly. It is refreshing," Khal admitted as a few more guardians walked by, some giving him the odd looks he had previously mentioned. Instinctively his hand went to his chest where his mark was. While it wasn't hurting at the moment he knew it could cause him pain at any point in time so all he could do was hope that not too many would be around to see him when it happened. ✭✭✭ ═━┈┈┈━═ ✭Khal's Love Interest: I'm not sure if I'll ever find love... ✭Khal's Wearing: Casual Wear #1 (The black version of this outfit) and the necklace in his picture

*Mahanon, Lunar Guardian* "A lesson in runes will do you right...come" Mahanon smiled to Khalfani. "You're much kinder than you realize" Mahanon complimented as they conversed. Mahanon watches as the other soldiers of the kingdom roamed and all left the garden. Leaving Mahanon and Khalfani alone. Mahanon gave a small hum as he sat on the bench that was by the two dark elves. "Centuries ago; even then, The Elven kingdom was a powerful kingdom and it's reach was vast" Mahanon began the quick history lesson. "The previous High Mothers and All Fathers built several strongholds across the land. They housed vast amount of riches, spoils, divine weaponry and various tomes and texts of forgotten magicks" Mahanon said as he drifted down the lane of history and lore. "Prince Christof has discovered many of these ancient strongholds, unlocking their deep deep secrets, it's the reason why he's grown to be extremely powerful just as he is extremely pig headed" Mahanon said ending with a light hearted laugh. Mahanon gave a small hum as Khalfani spoke once again. Mahanon shook his head smiling to Khalfani. "The ones who observe are the ones who are the most wise. Silence leaves you the ability to see and hear more. Which will lead to the mind's ability to mulitask thoughts" Mahanon said gently to Khalfani. "One day, hopefully soon; No matter who or what you are; this world will be more open and receptive to others who they're not entirely similar. Be it a noble, a merchant, a servant or a outsider. We can learn from one another. There's more to this world then just ourselves" Mahanon said as he looked around the beautiful garden. It truly was a site to behold. As if it was paradise right in front of them. Mahanon's face went a bit stern then. It still held it's friendly aura but it was stern. "I apologize if this comes off as rude...." Mahanon said as he paused for a moment. There was a brighter glow to his eyes. If his beauty was this apparent in the day light, what would it be in the moon light? Mahanon looked to Khalfani then. "The rune on your face; I don't need to know the history behind it; but if you would like something more....efficient..I would love to assist...or teach you" Mahanon said sweetly yet full of confidence. Mahanon blinked a bit and gave an embarassed giggle. "I'm so sorry if I came off rude! I'm so sorry! Just..when it comes to runes...I can't help myself..I deeply apologize" Mahanon said waving his hands then. He truly was sorry. He really needed to get that under control. "The High Mothers shadow...is where I walk"
