It was strange how much of a difference a few friends could make.
Kibirev was out on a patrol alone, something she was doing with more frequency as Leander got more offers for jobs. She did prefer to go with her brother, or with Acubens or Elsa, but sometimes it was nice to have the freedom to wonder where she wanted...and now that she had gotten used to it, she had to admit that mirror walking was really the only way of traveling that she enjoyed.
It was so easy to just slip into one of the many hidden mirrors around the city, and then come out where you wanted to come out. No fuss. No messes...and she supposed it was better for the environment than getting into a car or onto a bus, so in reality, she was doing the world a favor.
As the senshi came out of the mirror into a well lit park, she blinked as she felt a small chaos aura and her eyes landed on a small cat.
A small cat in a hat.
Quietly, the girl bit back a squeal of delight and walked softly over to it, crouching down. “...Oh my god you’re really cute.”

Haymitch did not do normal Mauvian things. He ferried mail to the wrong houses, he hunted mice and small bugs, and generally ignored the fact he was a Guardian Cat. It wasn't like he really had much to do, anyway! He liked the Dark Mirrors, and the Mirrorscape was kinda cool when he was brought in, but there were so many other Chaos cats, he could get away with just. Not doing his job.
Sometimes though, Haymitch imagined what having thumbs would be like, and wondered what he needed to do to get them. But that meant trying to go find people with the potential to be senshi - and then call in a scary General Soveiregn or Dark Mirror Royal - or senshi who were on the cusp of new power and they all moved so fast and.
Haymitch was lazy, alright?
He lounged on the ground in the park, watching his paws move back and forth as he moved them, and then suddenly there was a human near him. And not just any human, but a Dark Mirror senshi!
"Hi! Thanks! I'm Haymitch, who are you!?" he said, flipping over and holding his hat to his head with a paw. She was a pretty Dark Mirror senshi, in pretty pastels. Much prettier than Lesath.
He wondered if she might have treats on her...

She paused and nearly squealed in delight. He was one of the Guardian Cats…
Goodness how she wanted a cat of her own…
“I’m Kibirev, Dark Mirror Senshi of Foxglove…it’s very nice to meet you!” Kibi kept her eyes on him as she flipped over and hesitated, reaching to pet him, wanting nothing more than to scoop him up and take him home with her. “I love your hat! Did you make it yourself? Or do…Guardian Cats just…come equipped with accessories?” It was an almost amusing thought. These cats just popping up, covered in hats, and bracelets, necklaces and ribbons.
Though, it kind of begged the question of where did Guardian Cats even come from?
Kibirev pursed her lips and reached for his back paw, wanting to just lightly squeeze his toe beans. She knew it must be a rude thing but…he was so cute…and she just couldn’t resist.
“…What are you up to? Do you come here often?”
