Located in a relatively untraveled forest deep off of any traveled paths is the approximate location the Shishin den. Deep in the forest is a natural cave formation covered in very dense vines and bushes, making finding the entrance tricky at best. It is easily passable as just a hill if one wasn't looking for it. Once inside the cave it seems rather shallow at first, the vines having crawled across the roof and floor of the cave before twisting along the back of it. In reality with a bit more searching at the back one would find the rock wall is moveable, which when moved aside grants access to the Shishins den.
Inside is a rather well-lit base, torches, and electrical light sources built into it for lightning. Besides those there are a few bits of natural light that are brought in through holes in the ceiling that lead to the surface, and carefully placed mirrors to bring the light in from even odd angles.
Inside the building is laid out in a circular fashion. The center hub has a large wooden pillar holding up the ceiling with stairs built into it that lead to the lower floor. From the center hub there are seven rooms joined to them, used as living spaces for the Shishin. The second floor also has eight additional room usually used for storage, training, and other such things. The entire den is crafted from natural components besides those that had been brought in for living. The floors look to be made of extremely flat pieces of natural wood, with bits of the cave carved out as necessary through jutsu.

Tokiyama rested his back on the moss covered wall next to the cave entrance. He was hoping that everyone would be able to make it in time, it wasn't exactly easy to find the place though that was by design. A few of them had already seen the base as is but he hadn't really told them why it had been made yet.
This would be the beginning of something special, and he knew he needed help to establish that.
The young shinobi was dressed in pretty casual attire with a long coat, scarf, black pants and boots. The mess of black hair on his head covered one of his eyes as he hummed a couple of notes of a wordless song toohimself. He seemed pretty relaxed all things considered.

Kameyo approached the base again, sensing chakra. There was no way an outsider would have discovered the base already, so it had to be Toki. She was excited to discuss what she had discovered recently. She'd been pretty busy, going from a few assassination jobs to gaining the contract to the fish summons to becoming a fish sage. But she was also tired, and more than happy to take a nap or even retire for the week if her bed was comfortable enough. Anyone who'd ever talked to her before knew how much she valued sleep. "Toki~ How ya been, fella?" She was all too happy to come to the mouth of the cave plop down next to him, wrapping an arm around his shoulders, beaming.

The tune he had been humming got cut off when a cheerful voice rang out and he felt an arm go around his shoulders. Tokiyama usually wasn't a touchy type but with these people, it was a bit different. He smiled at her, showing off a few hints of crows feet around his eyes.
"Pretty good little lady. Did some work on the plants around here and set up a few extra defenses. You been busy too?"
It was very nice that he had finally started to find some people to truly trust. As he spoke to Kameyo he acknowledged Makara, gently patting the top of her head.

Kameyo nodded approvingly at his summation of his day. She could appreciate gardening, though it wasn't her favorite lazy activity, since she tended to kill all the plants she touched. She thought about her own day, briefly, as she gave Makara a small pat.
"Well, Naomi - you know Naomi, she's my hot friend with the red hair and she's got all those connections underground, busy girl - she asked me to take care of some traveling caravan of merchants that was visiting Gimangakure. She didn't want them stepping on her business especially since she had some below the table stuff going on, very interesting stuff that she would NOT tell me about so I really do wonder about that girl sometimes... Anyways, yeah, I had to get my hands dirty today to get rid of those merchants. I'm not big on capital punishment, but, y'know, I'd do anything for a friend.
"Oh! And I wanted an adventure and you know how people in Gimangakure talk and talk they have about these legendary beasts - y'know the ones, the ones that cool ninja can summon? - so I went out to the summoning lands and found myself in a deep abyss and THEN found myself before the big Boss man. He liked me more than I thought so he let me sign but uh, then I asked him to teach me how to do that sage stuff and he had me relax and suddenly I could hear the whole abyss and sense all the fishies and oh, it was so cool!
"Oh! I should teach you how to be a sage! I should teach all of you guys what I learned, it's so damn cool. Oh, but you won't look as cool as me, y'know, 'cause I'm a sage 'cause I got those fishies to back me up. But hey, nature energy is nature energy." She took a deep breath after speaking, unaware of what an infodump it really was. She felt tired all over again, but she didn't want to be asleep when everyone else showed up. "I plan on working on some chakra sensing stuff for the base," Kameyo added thoughtfully.

Tokiyama nodded along with the retelling of her adventures, which if he was honest was a lot. The girl wasn't really one to lie to him at least as far as he knew so he took it all as fact. It was all definitely in the realm of reason he'd say for someone like them.
When she got near the end and mentioned sage mode there was a flicker of information that resurfaced in his mind that brought another nod. "Part of my bloodlines, Wood Release, actually interacts very well with sage mode so that would be much appreciated. I don't know how long it will be until the others show up so we probably have time to get started at least. Maybe I can fill you in on my idea as we go as well"
Some of them he had told, others were still a bit out of the loop. If he was honest he still couldn't quite put into words what he wanted to accomplish but there was an essential base level that could be explained easily enough.

Kameyo clapped her hands together excitedly, feeling re-energized. "I would luh-ove to show you sage mode!" She took a step away from him so they could face each other, then she put her hands flat together. "You need to relax, first and foremost!" She grinned at him.
She then dropped her hands down to her side, palms open. It was identical to mountain pose for yoga. "Then close your eyes." She hesitated for a moment to look him in the eye before she did the same herself. She took in a deep breath.
"It's going to take you a while to relax. Don't be afraid to take your time. It can be hard to jump into something like this with both feet, y'know? Just listen." She shut up after that.
The sounds of the area around them would flood the mouth of the cave. The wind whistling in the distance. The wind pushing trees around. Leaves scraping against each other as they fell. A consistent drip of water falling from the mouth of the cave.
The air inside the cave was crisp. It would only grow colder as it traveled farther. There were remnants of water all over the cave, whether in puddles or general dampness. This was what made the moss grow so well. It could be stifling at times, but Kameyo focused on the liberation she felt at the mouth of the cave, where she could go outside into freedom or into the cave to safety.
"Focus on nature." She kept her eyes closed. She felt close to the water in the cave. This was due to her nature as the fish sage. She felt critically aware of water on all levels.
She then opened an eye to peek at Toki. "Do you feel the chakra that resides in nature, naturally? The chakra in the trunk of trees that you haven't created? How it differs from yours? How your chakra is just a filtered version of that that is out there in the world? Does it speak to you? Listen to it."
And with that, she had told him all she could in sage mode. Hell, The Don had only told her to relax and nothing else; she'd figured it out, down there in the abyss. She walked quietly out of the mouth of the cave in order to watch the fields and give Toki more peace. She watched the horizon for their friends.

It was morning. More precisely the sun had begun its procession across the sky and was just beginning to peek out over the horizon (if it were visible from their current location) and Breezy could not help but awaken. Every day at sunrise Breezy awoke without fail. Ships did their business by daylight and every passing minute meant a ship potentially missed. A strange dream again. She always had strange dreams below the earth's surface. Images of ash and fire played in her mind. Something was trying to reach out to her. A vibrant energy. Her bed was slightly signed on the edges. No matter though she'd slept more roughly. She hadn't slept in a bed until she was nearly a woman anyway.
Breezy slipped her arms through her kimono wrapping the obi around her waist and slipping her outer coat on. The kimono was a gift, possibly the only one she'd ever had, from someone and she cherished it like nothing else. One of the few things that really made her feel safe and secure. With her short morning ritual done she began her charge into the central room to greet the Shishin but spotted Kameyo leaving and followed her instead. She wasn't exactly sure why she'd been recruited into the Shishin but they were kind and useful enough. She wasn't a missing ninja either technically as she knew only the techniques her father had taught her so clearly this wasn't just a group that existed to overthrow anything or do harm.
"Good morrow to you." Her small predatory eyes focused on the other girl. She looked like a giant being over a foot taller. Malnutrition had clearly stunted Breezy's growth somewhat. "I see you are practicing. Something useful I hope?" By her own admission she spoke with barbs. Tiny prods here and there. Nothing too harmful but enough to annoy somebody quick to anger. "I would think that it would be wise to attend to my own practice." She laughed gently with her hand over her mouth. Her mother's mannerisms had rubbed off on her and how she hated it.
"Disturb me if you must." With those words said Breezy made her way to another part of the fields which made up the Shishin Dojo. She would train her water techniques for now so as not to ignite the forest. She would have to train her Fire techniques later to prevent an ecological disaster in the forest and worse giving away the location of the Shishin headquarters.

Kameyo turned her head as Breezy appeared. "Useful? We'll see." She smirked with amusement. It was hard to know how viable something was until you were in a situation where you needed it. "I'll be heading back into town myself, but good luck with your training." She wanted to promise she'd come back with snacks, but Kameyo couldn't be sure she would find something Breezy would like. She was hard to read, almost harder to understand, but Kameyo wouldn't trade her for anyone in the world.

How many years had passed since he was under the mountain? There were severe gaps in his memory but there was something familiar about this place. As he travelled the thick wooded area, issei would cross paths with a small squad of mercenaries who had been traveling in the opposite direction. The men’s body language put issei on edge, as they looked his way and spoke quietly amongst themselves. Once issea was only a few feet away from them, they would spread out on the road and brandishing their weapons. “ yo! You’ve just reached the checkpoint, so make this easy and just hand over the fee.” The head mercenary would say as he took a step ahead of the other two. This phased issei in no way, in fact, he never even stopped to acknowledge them. Instead, he simply continues to walk, his eyes locked forward as if staring through the leader. The mercenaries were noticeable irritated by issei’s behavior, prompting them to make the foolish mistake of rushing toward him. They wouldn’t make it three steps before the felt an immense pressure emanating from issei’s direction. One of the men came to a screeching halt in an attempt to run back in the direction that the game. However, it was far too late for escape. This was the perfect opportunity to shake off the rust he had build up in that cave. Without hesitation, he would release the seal on the first gate and vanish from the mercenaries sights. Only a split second later would issei reaper, mid air throwing a kunai at one man, hitting him square in the forehead, the. He would preform a half spin with a kick chambered and ready to unleash. The leader of the group hadn’t even seen the attack coming from above, yet his reflexes were impeccable. He was able to block the vicious kick with the handle of his hammer, barely being pushed backwards. While issei was shocked at the mans strength, this was only the beginning of his onslaught. Using the hammers handle, issei pushed off with his non kicking leg, launching himself at the mercenary closest to the leader. His speed was increasing with every movement, sending him ricocheting between all three mercenaries as if he were a ping pong ball. The mercenaries guard held sting for the first few attacks, but they were beginning to waiver. Issei’s speed and stamina would prove beneficial in wearing them down. Finally, an opportunity presented itself, when the leaders grip on his weapon was broken, sending his arm and hammer swinging into the air. “ chance!” Issei’s said under his breath, as he began violently spinning his body in the mercenaries direction. A bone shattering smash would ring out in the area, as issei stopped spinning in order to release the momentum in the form of a straight punch to the mans chest, sending him barreling into a nearby tree with a resounding slam. Blood erupted from his mouth as he died upon impact. Issei then landed in order to regain his footing, but before he lost any momentum, he would launch himself at the next closest mercenary. The man was nearly frozen in fear as he watched his leader fall, but his bravery shined through as he made a last ditch effort to stop issei. The mercenary swung his broad blade downward in a crescent arch, his timing was spectacularly, as was the strength he put behind the swing. A relieving look feel over his face as he smiled mercilessly upon contact. This look quickly turned to one of confusion, followed by despair. The mercenaries eyes couldn’t keep up with issei’s speed, luring him into a false sense of security. His blade struck the ground with great force, sending a painful shock throughout his arms and shoulders. The moment he released his blade, issei would appear behind him and hook his arm around the mans neck, gripping tightly. While the mans body flailed and struggled to get free, issei wouldn’t break eye contact with the last mercenary. His all white eyes and clenched teeth were enough to terrify the toughest of men. After a few short moments, the body hung limp in issei’s arm, before he released it. A sickening thud would follow as the body hit the floor. Issei’s eyes still locked on the last mercenary like tiger eyeing its prey. But, before issei could make his move. The man dropped to his knees begging for mercy. “ p..please! Spare me! My brother will reward you handsomely!” Issei gave no response to the mans cries for mercy. Instead he simply began walking toward the last mercenary. The man was flustered while trying to think of a way out of this situation. “ WAIT!! th...there has to be something! How about women!!? Surely you you wouldn’t pass up on a fine woman! What say you?? You can have your pick of the women we have captive, we even just captured a new beauty yesterday. Our hideout isn’t far!” These words prompted issei to stop in his tracks, one foot hovering just above the ground. His brow was now scrunched up in anger, his teeth were clenched so hard that you could almost hear them cracking under the pressure. When his foot finally made contact with the ground, all that the mercenary would see was the very foundation crumble beneath issei’s feet before he leapt forward. Next thing he knew, his feet were off the ground, he back was pressed up against a boulder, and issei was now up close and personal. “ where is the hideout. I wouldn’t wast your last words on a lie.” With that the man sang like a bird, leading issei directly to these enslaved women. Since his fist was already clenched onto the mercenaries s**t, he only needed to extent his arm with force. This technique punctured the mans chest and issei’s ran him through with his bare hands. Pulling out his blood soaked arm, the mercenary would drop to the floor and issei would revert back to his normal state, closing the first gate of the Hachimon. His hands were shaking vigorously but he felt no pain from this, it would definitely be difficult to eat with chopsticks for a few goes, thats for sure. Vanishing from the scene, issei would leave behind the four corpses and make his way to the mercenary hideout. The women were exactly where the man said, issei wouldn’t have a single problem sneaking into the hideout and slipping into the building that housed the prisoners, all of the women were manlyriahed and sucky looking, all but one of them who seemed to be a new arrival. After removing the bindings from the young woman’s arms and legs, he would place a finger on his lips, before removing the cloth the savages placed around her mouth. He could only pray that she was aware of the situation at hand. “ We must speak quietly, and act quickly.” Issei would whisper softly. “ i will get you and the others out safely, but I need your help, are you up for the task?” Issei would examine the girls body language to ensure that she wasn’t in shock.
