Right near the middle of the city lies the city's park. But this not one of those typical small parks near schools with a simple playground and maybe a baseball field or basketball court. This is a huge park! It spands between four major streets. Very easy to spot from a bird's eye view.
In the park:
Obviously there are many walking and biking trails
Small ponds where you can feed the fish and ducks [as long as you're feeding them the right stuff like bird seeds, never feed either bread.]
There is a playground area for the kids to enjoy that was recently renovated. There's even a mini water park there.
A few sections with picnic tables.
And of course there's a dog park section that is fenced for people to let them off their leashes.
The park is a great place to have fun, spend your free time or somewhere to do your work while having some fresh air. Just be sure to follow the park rules!

Tossing more seeds from the bench as two more ducks ruffled their feathers and scurried over to jab at them with their bills. They looked up as their feathers still glistened in the sun with a shine from the water, eager for more seeds. Lucifer gave them the last few seeds with sling of his arm, scattering out as it they hit the water. The ducks turned and slid back into the pond in pursuit of the seeds, leaving the man to himself.
He inspected his hand as he saw a single drop then another, he leaned forward with his body beginning to tremble. Pain it hurt all over, surging from his back and up his spine. This wasn't uncommon, he suffered as long as he could remember, crippling pain. Covering his left eye, it burned following that he felt a swelling pain rippling into his chest as Lucifer fell slowly on his knees and on hand by the bank of the pond. His breathing harsh as he slowly moved his left hand from his eye to see it in the pond's reflection. It was normal, his white hair moved in the breeze, his eyes swelling with tears from the pain.
A drop of blood fell from his left eye next, with a mushroom cloud effect on the water. As the ripples eased he saw saw a red eye staring back at him, he wasn't like the others, this was no gift. His eyes flared as began being flooded by all shadows around him that began to curse him and strike him. Though it was all in his mind, everything came back in a flash as Lucifer got to his feet with tears still in his eyes, cracking his finger. Brushing his tears as his phone began to vibrate in his pocket, checking the message he sighed and cracked another finger.
With the phone aside he returned to his bench, sitting down and just burying his head in his hands. "Just disappear...this wretched existence..."

Abyss let the rumble of the matte black Skyline come to a bellow before turning off as he stepped out and began his pace through the park. His cat from earlier dropped off at home where she would be napping, small hiss of steam. It was comforting wearing the mask as comforting as being armed, sadly it would draw too much attention. He passed a man sitting on a bench, was the stranger crying? Abyss knew better then get involved, what was Nozo gonna say if he came back carrying that negative emotion. It was quiet but still, he was still thinking if he'd be better off carrying a weapon here, set him at ease.
Any altercation in the park at this hour involving guns would be chaos, something he wasn't too keen on being locked up for, a gunman at a park. Though he still had his fire if things proved to be too dangerous, but this was just a nice walk to clear his head after last night. His steps grew silent as he saw iconic red hair and the outfit, reaching for his side he clenched his fist as he didn't have his gun. It was just instinct, before him was another hero, the foolish one that went around with no alias, a walking target.
The tall man had his back to Abyss, 14 feet away ordering a popsicle from the small stand. Holding up a hand he began charging a black flame as it began to sizzle and flicker to life in his palm, Esper felt his arm swing aside as it snuffed out the flame with burst of air. A figure launched up into the tree beside him, snapping his finger as he glanced down at Abyss, narrowing his eyes he couldn't comprehend how he didn't see him. His hand fell to where his other gun would be but again it was out of instinct, he was out of his element. Backing away slowly, too late as could only make a shake of a tree branch, bracing with his arms crossed. The man was now sliding him back, releasing him into a tumble. Abyss saw something red that time, getting to his feet slowly as his mask hissed. "Clever to hide it but I figure its not much offensive, otherwise the last attack would've been fatal."

After finishing his assignment in Forgotten Grotto and helping out that lady, he though he earned himself a nice little snack a little break. Fresh orange popsicle sign by the cart was drawing him in like a moth to a flame. He wasn't aware he was being watched while he got his wallet out and paid the man, then it came to the dangerous part. Esper inspected the popsicles in the cooler, the mist was the sweet fog that gave him a nice chill. Scanning a few of the top he ignored two broken ones and pointed at the third. The ice cream man sighed and asked if he could just not make his job complicated for once, with a smile Esper shook his head and took the popsicle. Tossing the wrapper in the garbage by the cart and began enjoying all the orange inducing sugar rush.
He frowned as his phone went off, setting it to his ear as he continued devouring the popsicle. It was trouble and the break would have to wait, tossing the popsicle and kicking it to high gear. Going from a jog as he checked the location to a sprint once he had it down, he fired up his motorcycle and took off.

Hearing the motorcycle he knew it was a matter of time before the hero would be out of harms way. To think he'd be protecting a hero, surely he would have words with Mr. Pendragon on their arrangement, he would be no guard dog. His emotionless expression watched his opponent get up again and mention hiding something. To reply to his lack of offense Lucifer drew two daggers and threw both high in the air. Red flames burst from his lower back to form wings and accelerate him towards his enemy.
Exchanging blows with his opponent, pausing to catch one knife and twist around to get the other. Swinging to cut at his throat with both coming from the left and right, missed. Sighing as his opponent backed up to a tree, then creating a wall of flame before him. Pausing and standing straight Lucifer expression grows into a grin as he cracks his finger and tosses one dagger aside and reaches through the flames and firmly drives the dagger into the masked man's shoulder and into the tree. Immediately a cry of pain followed by the flames hiding him being extinguished. The thin long blade buried into his flesh pinning him to the tree, Lucifer released the dagger and patted his arm til the flames were snuffed out.
Twisting the blade he could feel the sunset light glimmer in pommel, "Not much offensive....here you are pinned to a tree.." His voice was calm as he didn't find it much of a match, his opponent had such a powerful ability but wasted on a useless move. He had nothing more to say to him.

Shouting as he felt the searing pain shoot up shoulder as his breathing grew heavy, just then the stranger stopped. Abyss sneered as he quoted him earlier, who did this guy think he was, sure he was strong but to just try to leave. Reaching with his right arm but it was no use he was pinned to the tree and stuck there. Steam erupted from his mask as his eyes showed pure rage, a black flame began to spark to life in his right hand growing steadily in size.
"Don't turn your back on me! I'm Abyss an Exile!", he sent a column of black flames hissing at the stranger. He felt the rage swell up as he continued the flow releasing it as he saw nothing but smoke, it was over, he won. No one could've survived that, it was cheap shot but he didn't care. Reaching for his phone panting he sighed, it was Nozomi. He messaged her his location and he needed some help, just a little hurt. His shoulder still burned with pain it was swelling around the knife, he couldn't imagine how much it was going to hurt removing it. Then his eyes widened, the smoke cleared and he didn't see a body, could he have probably incinerated him. But he felt his heart beating faster as he went through the scenarios, then he heard a cracking noise, almost like someone popping their knuckles...
Minutes passed like hours and his mask lay to his side and the scar on his throat hat a fresh cut over it, not as deep but more psychological. Abyss choked as if he couldn't breath as his post traumatic stress kicked in, holding his neck with his right for dear life. Blow after blow he cried out as he struggled for air, his attacker introduced him before he started manipulating his mind.
She had almost reached her apartment when she finally received a text message reply from James. Good thing she hadn't gotten inside yet, because it appeared that her friend needed her help. Frowning, part of her almost wanted to ignore the text. He had already gotten himself into some trouble after leaving Blue Skies? "What have you done now.." She murmured softly to herself.
Slipping her phone into her clutch bag, she was thankful that she hadn't worn heels. She really didn't want to run all the way to the cities park in a pair of heeled shoes. Holding the small bag to herself, she pushed her feet off of the pavement and ran as quickly as she could into the direction of the park.
Out of breath when she got there, it appeared that whatever people gathered had probably fled after whatever had taken place. Her eyes scanning her surroundings, she was looking for the familiar dark head of hair that was Abyss. When she saw an unfamiliar figure swinging blows under the shade of a nearby tree, she might have looked past it, if it weren't for the burnt grass that gave away sighs of the person she was looking for.
"I swear to god, if I break a nail." Her golden gaze narrowed as she stormed over towards the two. Focusing her attention onto the man pummeling James, she tried to force away the feelings he was currently experiencing. How was she expected to fight off someone when all she could do was force them to just feel a different emotion? Closing her eyes, she tried to fill the man with wave after wave of anguish and sorrow.

"You think you matter...Abyss..I've never seen someone so...lost in their own fantasy...don't worry I give despair...James.." He kicked Abyss again as he continued to torture him, kicking his right hand from his neck. He'd send James into another panic of choking as he grinned. Gripping James's hair he set the edge of the dagger inches from his eye as licked his lips in anticipation of taking them. Dropping the blade as he gripped his head seeing images flash into his mind with grunt.
"Doctor the patient is waking up." "Proceed with the operation as planned" The restraints tightened and he bit into leather piece in his mouth to keep him from biting his tongue off. The boy screamed, muffled by the leather piece as his back along his lower spine was marked in small circles.
His wings burst open from his lower back as he looked around to see a woman, a burst of red flame from his wings. Straight into a choke as he got his other arm to apply more pressure then another wave of hit him, fight them he squeezed her neck. Pushing her aside he moved to get away as the memories came crashing in despite all his efforts.
"Prepare the drill we have to get deep into the bone, to set the binding agents. We'll set the collar to control him if he survives this. He'll be the first if he does" The drill started and slowly buried down into his lower spine, again, again, again, again, again..
"Get out get out get out get out get out ...out OUTTT!" Lucifer collapsed gripping his head as he tried to get his mind straight.

Inching a little closer when the stranger had stopped hitting James, Nozomi was hesitant to get closer. She was never sure how her target would react when she filled them with different emotions. When it came to filling them with sadness, she were use to tears, to loud sobs as if they had just witnessed a loved one die right before their eyes. This stranger though, didn't appear to be crying.
A pair of bright wings made from flames burst from his back, and then he was turning and his eyes were landing on where she stood nearby. Looking past him, she could see James, without his mask and a knife protruding from his shoulder. With her attention shifted to her friend, it had given the unknown assaulter enough time to shorten the distance and get his fingers wrapped around her throat.
Gasping as she was choked, her hands came up in an attempt to pry his hand away, mouth gasping for air as she tried to free herself from his hold. The intense feelings of sorrow she had been forcing onto him had lessened, since her focus was now on trying to get air into her lungs.
Unsure what to expect to happen next, she was left gasping for air when he pushed her aside. Coughing, Nozomi quickly moved over to her friend. "What the hell did you do to piss this guy off?" She asked James, glancing back to Lucifer, before looking to the item keeping James pinned to the tree. "You really can't go a day without trouble."
Leaning in close to the male, she carefully took hold of the knifes handle with one hand, while the other one came up to tenderly stroke the man's face. She was trying to shift his emotions, to give him something else to focus onto so that she could pull him free. "Sorry, It's gonna hurt." She softly apologized, before beginning to pull at the weapon.

It was her day off, a rarity these days with the gig at the aquarium doing "not so good" but "not exactly dirt poor yet" type of deals. While it was less than ideal weather considering the rain, it was perfect weather to take Hana out. Her wheelchair rolled along as the young child looked up at her mother and smiled. "It feels so nice to be out tonight!" Sae looked down and managed a smile. "I-It is, isn't it?" Her gloved right thumb traced along the side of the wheelchair handle while they came to rest at a bench. A couple of ducks were crossing over to the other side of the pond which Hana seemed to take interest in. Her mother's eyes shot towards the blankets. Though heavy, they still protected the parts of her damaged by that accident only a few months ago. "How are you feeling, sweetie?" The question tore the child from her enjoyment watching the ducks as she looked down as well. After thinking of an answer, it came out fairly quick. "I'm okay. I promise, Mom."
She knew that tone all too well. Hana didn't want her to worry (an impossible feat being a mother) yet clearly was exhausted herself. The thought of forcing her to rest came to her mind, hands idly coming together as the thin layered gloves would begin to be taken off. Sayuri waited until her attention was elsewhere, feeding the many ducks with some bird seed that had been bought for such an occasion. It was okay, Sae tended to skip lunch anyways. Once a chance presented itself, Sae's bare hand planted itself on her forehead. Hana looked at her and began to speak as their vision would wobble for a moment before being claimed by the darkness.
When it returned, Sayuri would be looking up at her body, flashing a pout at her. "I said I was good, Mom! Why'd you-""Yah-You keep pushing yourself too hard." Sayuri as Hana answered. The stutter was just based on the sensations coming from the young girl's pain. Always on fire, never stopping nearly once. How did she even sleep at night through this? "I know it's hard but you can't rush this, okay? Soon the doctors will be able to find something to help, and then you can play again. But please." Sayuri looked up at her daughter as herself. "Don't hurt yourself for me, Hana? Promise?" Her daughter would continue to be stubborn (must have gotten that from her) before then giving a great sigh. "Okay..." The answer showcased that the conversation wasn't truly over but it put Sae's mind at ease for just a bit. For now, all she could do was to let her daughter's mind rest a bit.

xxxIt seemed that there was a mixup with a package that Sean had ordered. The young cafe owner had ordered a few new tea sets for the cafe a few weeks ago and should of arrived a few days ago but somehow the package went missing!? Oh what luck the gender bender seemed to be having on this cloudy day. Most of they day was spent at the post office, going through order forms, calling the delivery company and the place where the tea sets were made but in the end… They were forever lost. All the young adult wanted was some cute new tea sets for the cafe but in the end just spend hundreds of dollars for them to get lost. Was the last time Sean was going to order offline for anything for a while.
Sean started to make his way back to his cafe in defeat, thinking maybe baking something would help him feel a little better or maybe and watch a movie curled up in bed? Sounded like a wonderful idea seeing it was a colder and gloomier evening. The long hayed male decided to take a short cut through the park as he wanted to get back to the cafe as soon as possible to make sure everything was alright. He trusted his staff to take care of his cafe while gone but he did not think he would be out this long! With his closed umbrella in hand, Sean sped walked through the part with the mission to get back to his cafe when he noticed a mother and daughter in the park. He slowed down and watched the child, noticing that the child seemed to be troubled, along with the mother. Sean stopped for a moment, thinking his actions for a moment before he started to walk towards the child and mother.
" Oh the ducks must love you." He said with a smile as he walked closer but stopped about ten feet away to give the two their space as there was a good chance that they did not want him talking to him, stranger danger after all. The only reason he decided to walk over was because he hated a child with a frown on their face, or anyone for that matter but a child was more heartbreaking. " They seem to be so happy waling out after such a rainy day but I am sure what made their day was you feeding them, but… I think seeing you smile will make them really happy. Maybe so happy they smile big we can see their teeth." He chuckled.

Both girls would jump as Sae turned her (or Hana's) head towards the boy approaching them. Sae (who was Hana) would look at him awkwardly while doing her best to not look weird or anything. Which was easier said than doing being in her mother's body. Sayuri gave a tired smile and would welcome the newcomer though be on edge. It was a natural reaction considering that she had her fair share of encounters that went south fast. Though if he was truly here for malice, there was little she could do without demolishing this entire park. "Maybe! It just feels nice being here after being in the hospital all day." Hana gave her a look and went to open her mouth before seeing that look her mother gave her/ The one a parent gave to their kid to not interfere and keep calm. "Did you come to see the ducks too? It's my favorite thing to do here." Sae continued as Hana would speak up herself, smiling at the boy.
"Um, it's nice to meet you. This is my ah...daughter, Hana." she said, placing her hands on the wheelchair's handle. "I'm Sae." ""

The light ruffling of leaves alerted a young but bright eyed woman to her surroundings. She gazed away from her phone and towards the sparsely crowded park. There were only light murmurs from passersby as small blips of boxes hung over their head. Though such labels would quickly become forgotten. She didn’t possess the superhuman capability of a photographic memory. Even though she may have now known what these people were called, they were still strangers to her. Maybe one day their paths would cross again, a day where they might chat and learn with one another. With Victoria, she only needed a few moments of someone’s time to know quite a bit about them.
With no one from the crowd approaching her, the brunette’s gaze shifted up to the sky. 'I wonder if it will rain.' The weather mentioned nothing about it pouring but she brought an umbrella just in case. It was best to be prepared during the off chance the day wanted to surprise her. So her vision proceeded to go back down to her phone before she wanted to double check her schedule. 'I should see if I’m scheduled for today. Sometimes the boss needs some last minute help.' Thoughts about the weather drifted to the backburner of her mind before glancing through the store’s electronic based app. It was a handy little gadget that helped keep track of everyone’s working days. Unfortunately, it had the ability to alert people to any changes in the schedule too. 'Please let it not be today.'

Pascal, stop running up so far ahead!! Ken would say, as the puppy would keep on running, huffing loudly. The small husky would let off barks of happiness, as he kept on. Soon, the puppy would slow down, to which Ken would then catch up and watch him sniff a tree, before lifting one of his hind legs. It was funny how Ken had the Peculiarity of super speed, yet would slow himself down considerably to nearly the slowest speed possible. Still Ken was more lost in thought about most of the disappearing cases. The man who was hastily dumped in the garbage, the missing people, it all had to do with specific people who just had recent crime dealings, some being petty thugs or hired killers. The two he did catch, were currently in jail for their affiliation with The Exiles. He still needed to find their leader. That thought was soon interrupted with Pascal running ahead, and jumping onto the lap of a brown haired girl who just sat on a bench. P-Pascal, what the hell!? I'm so sorry, miss... he would bow respectfully to the girl.

With the app opening up, the woman was inputting her information into the system, the store number, and looking up this week’s schedule. It was when the information popped up on her screen that her phone seemed to have flown right out of her hand and into a grassy patch near her. There was a definitive pause as a Husky creature had somehow made its way into her hands. Looking up to her, she found the name [Pascal] hovering by its head. "H-Hello there." Her voice visibly held the brunette’s astonishment as a pair of unfamiliar blues held a mixture of innocence and mischievousness in them. The puppy seemed quite excited with it’s new found spot while Victoria scratched under Pascal’s chin. "So where is your owner?" No sooner had she said that, that a little box blipped on her retina. The name of their very owner [Kenichi Minegishi] appeared!
Chocolate lenses looked around the park for this Kenichi but it would seem that the man would come find her first. It wasn’t only his name that assured her that this man was the dog’s owner, they seemed to explicitly know the canine’s title too. "It looks like you’ve been found." A good-natured tone was directed to the dog before glancing back at the other. His information was interesting. 'Kenichi Minegashi. 21. Male. 5’8” & 158 lbs. Vigilante. Heterosexual. Homicide Detective.' The combination of being a Vigilante and a Homicide Detective was kind of peculiar. Granted, she didn’t know about the thorough work of a detective but she had a rough idea about what an avenger was. Did this make her scared? No.
"Oh no, please don’t be sorry! You can call me Victoria. We look to be around the same age." Well, that was her own subtle approach at trying to say that they weren’t that much older than the other. Though maybe his detective and vigilante days hadn’t been kind to his looks, making him appear a bit older than he really was. "Victoria Denison. It is nice to meet Pascal’s owner." Pulling her hand away from the Husky, she held it out for him to shake.
