The end credit scene played for Captain America: The First Avenger, and the TV went black for a moment before it returned to the DVD menu screen. There was a moment of silence before Solas let out a sigh. It wasn't an annoyed sigh, but one of contentment. She turned to face the man whose lap she was currently occupying. "This one is my favorite. I don't even need to see the rest of them again to know." One of the things she had written down in her to-do notebook upon purifying was to watch all the Marvel movies again in case she forgot them. The woman had been delighted when Sergei agreed to watch them with her as well. Slowly, over time, they had been working their way through the list. Watching movies happened at his place---since she didn't have a TV in her sailboat. "I know it's out of order with the list we're following, but can we watch Winter Solider next?" She asked the man, leaning in and kissing his temple. "Later, of course. I'm going to make dinner now." She had learned a bunch of new recipes and tips and tricks from Hitch and her cooking was simply getting better from the practice and dedication to it. Solas paused, and smirked at him. "When your lap stops being so comfy."

"It is okay." Personally he related the most to Captain America. The strong sense of justice, what was wrong and right. The way he stuck to his guns.
His favorite had changed, later on. It was quite a fan of Scarlet Witch now.
"Vinter Solider." He snorted, looking down at his girlfriend and playing with her hair.
"Someone use to call me that." He smirked at her. "Food."

It was Solas' turn to snort. It is okay. She smiled, rolling her eyes to the ceiling briefly, before looking back at Sergei. "Yeah, she did, and she amended her opinion. If we're talking DC, you're Superman, if we're talking Marvel, you're Captain Russia and me?" She reached for the hand that was playing in her hair, and took it, pressing her lips to the inside of his wrist. " I'm the Winter Solider." She smirked, "And I suppose I'm ready to comply, Comrade." Even though she hadn't seen the movie yet, she'd seen the memes. She let go, and before she hopped off his lap, ran her other hand through his hair. She swept it back as she moved past him and into the kitchen. "Nadia told me about Misha." She said from the kitchen as she preheated the oven, and got the pans out to make some pasta and meatballs---the latest thing Hitch showed her how to make. "How's he adjusting, hm?" All kinds of exciting things going on in the Vetrov family right now. Misha awakened as a knight, and Nadia was getting married.

"Gross." He added, and dramatically rolled his eyes. "Superman." Even if he had a sense of justice, Sergei wouldn't say he was some naive alien from the farm with sudden powers.
He didn't get her emphasis though. The pets made him brush her hand aside, straightening hair as he got up to get the other movies ready, and then move to allow Noel outside to do her business.
"He's....." Sergei pursued his lips.
"Dealing....with it....."

" Oh." That said volumes. Poor man. That must have been hard to be in your early thirties and living as normally as possible and then...magic. The woman pondered the eldest Vetrov sibling's situation as she worked on preparing dinner. She pulled the meatballs she had made before they watched the movie out of the fridge and put them into the oven. Next it was cutting up tomatoes, onions, and mushrooms to put into the sauce, along with some spices. Lastly, she put a pot of water on the stove to boil, and as things got underway, took to leaning against the kitchen counter with a glass of bourbon she poured for herself. Solas sipped it slowly, and waited for Sergei to appear from doing his little tasks before picking up the conversation again. "Do you miss that part of your life, Maylsh?" She asked. "Life before awakening as a knight?"

Sergei came to the kitchen once Noel was inside again, moving to the kitchen where his girlfriend was sipping on bourbon.
He reached over, taking it to sip himself and then handed it back.
"I can't even remember time before knight nov." He leaned over her food, reaching in to pick out a meatball.
"Is trying to remember peace....hard to do." His life had always been war. Now it was just...magically inclined.

A corner of her lips pulled up as he took the glass from her, and she watched him, fingers uncurled and waiting for the glass to return. She took it back and sipped it again herself. Solas hummed a soft sound of acknowledgement to the answer, and in it she found comfort as well. He could not remember peace, and she could not remember a life before becoming powered. Being a senshi was now all she knew. It was ironic that it took her losing nearly everything that made her up to become more connected with him. In light of how her life had turned out thus far though, she was grateful for him more than words could say. He got it and he accepted it, in that true stubborn yet simplistic Sergei Vetrov way. She let him grabbing a meatball before it was all ready slide, and instead waggled her free fingers at him to get his attention. Solas then signed, with one hand: { You want? } She pointed at the glass of bourbon, and raised her brows.

Sergei had handed it over happily enough, and would've stole anther meatball but she was watching him.
Her sign of asking for more made him squint and he did his best to do the signs he remembered.
He signed , 'no' but he meant to sign 'yes'.
"Yes." He wanted food though too, but he settled for kissing her, leaning over.

Solas couldn't help but bust out laughing as he signed 'no', and immediately corrected it with a verbal reply. Her laughter was silenced for a moment as she happily met his lips to return the kiss, but as she pulled away, her frame shook with amusement. "Ooo, Malysh, that knee jerk reaction of no..." She grinned lightly, and moved to get him his own glass of bourbon. "Dinner will be ready in fifteen." She held out the glass to him, and with her other hand, signed, 'yes'. "Ignacio---that's Encke, the other Transcendent Senshi you met on Methone---his boyfriend's mother owns a dance studio. It focuses mainly on Latin types of dancing, but hearing about it got me thinking. I want to go dancing with you." She paused for a moment. "And don't tell me you can't---" She smirked. "I jotted down how elegantly you dipped me on Halloween." Something else she couldn't remember first hand, but something else to make new memories where she could.

All the knee jerk reaction came down to her asking him to dance.
There was a long sip of bourbon before he responded in kind-
"I am not dancing to the Salsa." He set the glass down.
"Because no." Before she could argue. He dipped her, but he was by no means, a dancing man. Even for Solas.

She laughed at that, again, eyes creasing in amusement. The laughter quickly shifted into a gasp though, as he went ahead and dipped her right then and there. Hands moved up to hold onto his shoulders, and it was a pleasant surprise to feel butterflies again. "You'll have to forgive me, Malysh." Solas said, after the initial surprise worse off. "I set you up for that one." Because she knew there was no way he'd agree to that kind of dancing. She just wanted to tease him to think she would. "What I had in mind was less energetic." Her eyes creased once more as her hands slid up his shoulders to curl around the back of his neck. "You, me---either the kitchen or the deck of the boat---and a classical music playlist for your old soul." She grinned lightly. "We'll sway like a bunch of awkward teens at a prom, or like an elderly couple in a nursing home. How about that, hm?"

"Vhy do you set me up?" He made a face at her.
"Sounds gay." He made a small sound of disapproval, "We are neither of those things." He smirked.

"Because half of this relationship is about teasing." Her eyes creased in amusement, fingers gliding up and down the back of his neck. At the blunt statement, Solas let out a laugh. "Oh, I don't know about you, Malysh, but I'm happy." She smirked back at him. "But you know what's really gay? Ignacio." Or, Encke. "He said you were a Russian hunk of meat." And that still amused her to no end. He was a hot mess. "Alright. How about this: we'll sway like a mid-twenty year old Russian iceberg and an early twenty year old ghost ship." Solas paused for a moment. " Or---" Her eyes lit up as she smiled at him. "Take scuba diving lessons with me." She let that hang in the air for a moment. "I found a center for it here---and we can be taught when we both have free time. A flexible learning course." With Sergei's work schedule, having normal set classes wouldn't work out, and she had that in mind when she looked it up.

"I thought Encke was a bi-curious disaster." Sergei said the words with a very heavy accent, "Is vat Nadia says. Apparently Encke is good friend though, is good for both of you to have good senshi friends eh?"
He snorted.
"I am Russian hunk of meat." How many times had he heard that? It didn't make it any less true and pretending otherwise was silly. "Misha is russian bull though. Watch him in a china shop."
He swayed anyways, and her excitement of the classes perked his interest. Scuba sounded fun and perhaps that would be a nice break from the powered life. Something they could do together. Take a vacation to the islands.
"Okay. Ve'll go scuba-ing."

Hearing him say that with his accent rolling so thickly, Solas laughed. "Oh no, he's beyond the point of curious---he's bi-for real-ous." She smiled a bit at his words, and nodded in agreement. Yeah. Encke was a good friend, and a good ally. Not that she'd ever say that to anyone but Sergei, though. Solas smirked. "I mean, a bull is also a hunk of meat though." She mused, but when the man agreed to take scuba lessons with her, she felt excitement well up in her chest. She leaned in to kiss him. "You're the best." She murmured against his mouth, and kissed him again. "Don't let that make your head swell though, you Russian hunk of meat." Solas pulled away from him them, and turned back to the stove top. She turned off all the burners, drained the pasta, and, finally, set up dinner, ready to be served. Lastly, she got out some plates and silverware, and then held them out to the man.
