Austin's car was in his parent's garage half disassembled because he'd been working on some overdue maintenance that had become required instead of recommended after his last race and as a result, the tall man had more time on his hands and less ways to get around than he'd like. He'd had a car since he was sixteen and it'd been broken down in some form or another multiple times during his ownership but it was also how he primarily made money.
Which meant it was exasperating that fixing it was going to take longer than he liked and he had a lot of built up energy that he wasn't expending the way he wanted.
Not having a car when he was used to meant that hooking up with girls wasn't as fun, because getting picked up sounded ******** ridiculous and some of them didn't even drive.
Irritated by his lack of options (because taking a lyft or uber was out of the question), Austin found his earbud, put on his running playlist and shoes before he set out of the house. Running always helped settle him and he'd missed his morning run while he was working on his car so he had to go at night.
It was no biggie, presuming he didn't wear his hoodie with the hood drawn up and he kept his hands visible. No biggie, easy to do. DC wasn't as bad as some other places but it never hurt to eer on the side of caution...about something like this.
Setting the tempo of his run through the music playing in his ears, Austin let himself get lost in the feel of pavement slapping beneath his feet as he ran, lights of the city as he broke free of the suburban streets he lived on filling up his view.
He would get towards the party district in no time, if he wanted, but he opted for streets nearby, where the over-priced apartment building sat.

Life in the Negaverse was the absolute kicks. Minium had taken to it like a duck in water the moment she realized she could run faster and jump higher, that she was more agile and more powerful than any civilian could ever dream of being. Sure, her General was usually overbearing about his insistence that she train but she couldn't even really balk at that; her a** was amazing these days and her uniform was even better at highlighting it than her wardrobe was. Much like every other night, she was lounging on the rooftops that towered over the Destiny City streets, waiting for an unsuspecting civilian to entertain herself for the night. Tonight she was stretched out across a roof ledge with her bare belly flat against the cool bricks and a hand propping her chin up as she watched the dwindling traffic on the street below. The lamp in this particular spot had guttered out and, despite how dangerous the city was at night, they had yet to bother to replace it. Women wandered by in twos and threes, headed for the clubs nearby, but they were really no fun. She wanted bigger prey, someone more fun to taunt. Luckily, some hulking, dark-skinned drink of water came by before she completely bored of waiting. "B-i-n-g-o," she chimed to herself lowly. With a smirk in place, she rolled off of the rooftop and fell to a crouch just a he trotted by so obliviously. In the space of a breath she was up on her wedged heels and trotting after him slowly (for her) as she sized up this particular prey. From ground level she could tell that he was much, much bigger than she had first anticipated - he stood heads and shoulders above her and nearly twice as wide. By the manic gleam in her eyes, that just made it better. Her eyes dropped to a telltale bulge in his back pocket and the smirk on her lips unfurled into a cheshire grin. Her pace quickened and her hand slipped deftly into the loose fabric of his shorts; she wasn't even very sly about it as she caught his wallet in her fingers and pulled away with it. Then, just to make sure that he really noticed, her opposite hand smacked across his a** in an attempt to startle him. She stopped in her tracks and waited for him to notice, her head cocked playfully to the side while she began thumbing through his cards and looking for cash.

When on a run, Austin preferred to mostly ignore his surroundings. He kept alert for important things, like police cars and that Make America Great Again logo that always spelled trouble but for the most part... a pretty girl wouldn't have made him bat and eye even if he hadn't been focused on the beat in his ears and the rhythm of his run.
He didn't even think the person who was suddenly behind him was much of an issue either, because they seemed to be almost half his size, at first until he felt the hand in his pocket and even more startling, the sharp spank to his a**.
Both had him twisting, one hand pulling out an earbud and the other reaching for the taunting hand holding his wallet hostage. Even with his height and reach, she was too far back and he had to step towards her to try and catch her hands before she pulled out the handful of bill he still had in the bifold.
Green eyes narrowed, Austin trying to decide what this girl wanted from him or why she'd made it so obvious that she was stealing from him. "Did you get a good handful when you copped a feel?" He asked, opting to go for a lighter approach just in case she turned out to be one of those crazy white chicks.
"If you wanted to play babe, you just had to ask."

Oh, but he wasn't wrong. She might not have been the particular brand of crazy that Austin was worried about but Minium was definitely one crazy white chick. It showed in the humor that danced in her eyes as she took a quick leap backward from him to evade his grabbing hands, moving faster than his hulking human weight could manage and with what seemed to be little effort on her part. She landed on a single heel and swung her opposite leg around, using the inertia to turn herself in place. It put her back to him and she spared him only the smallest wink over her shoulder as she started walking away. "Oh, I don't think you've got what it takes to play with me, love." The lieutenant dropped her eyes from him, dismissive, and began reading the ID aloud. "Austin, huh? That's weird. You don't look like an Austin." Her words were punctuated with a bubbling laugh that died only as she took a quick running leap atop a nearby dumpster, then sprang off of it quickly to catch the bottom platform of fire escape. With his wallet caught between her teeth, the tiny woman pulled herself up with next to no effort and swung over the railing before she bothered to look back down at him. As she hunched forward, she dangled the wallet above his head. "Tell you what, if you can catch me big boy, I'll give it back."

The chick was more agile than he expected, bounding backwards with a skill that had to be practiced. She even seemed to be the flashy sort that would have had him intrigued if he wasn't so annoyed with the fact that she'd swiped his wallet and was being impish in the aftermath.
"Mm, I wouldn't be too sure about that babe," Austin drawled, taking an almost cautious step forward, "you don't know much about me."
Except she knew his name, a courtesy of the ID that sat in his wallet. The name Austin Lynch with a picture of him, not smiling on display because the amount of times he'd had to pull it out had been too many to count.
"Don't have to be an Austin if that's not your thing," he offered, willing to 'play' her game for a little longer before she'd taken off, Austin immediately breaking into a run after her before she'd hopped onto the dumpster and sprung up into the air like she was in the circus.
He was used to seeing some wild s**t, but this wasn't something he expected from a pixie of a girl. Hell, she jumped like there were trampolines beneath her feet.
Austin slowed, squinting up at the girl before he grunted, running again and jumping up onto the dumpster himself, springing off less gracefully that Minium and his sneakers scraped against the buildings wall when he caught the lip of the building and managed to at least hoist himself up.
He wasn't close enough, but it was a start. He was still warming up.
"Alright, pixie, let's do this."

A pleased, impish laugh bubbled out of her lips as she watched him trail after her. She followed his jump and scramble up to the building top, tracing the bulge of his calves and the way his hands tensed around the rough brick with interested, golden eyes. At least he was willing to play this game with her, even if she didn't think he stood a chance of winning. "And here I was thinking tonight was going to be a bore." She waved his wallet at him with a gloved hand before calmly pulling back the high collar of her uniform and shoving it down securely inside of her bra; she was going to need her hands to play this game with him if the practiced way he scaled the building was any clue at all. A few quick steps brought her to the top of the fire escape so that she could level her bright, golden eyes at him (or as level as she could get with the height difference). "On your mark, get ready-" True to her nature, she bolted as she yelled, "Go!" For a woman wearing wedged heels, she was remarkably nimble. Minium was across the roof in no time and springing over a wide gap that separated the brick building from one just tall enough she couldn't clear it in a leap. She caught the edge with the smallest of tuts beneath her breath, then hoisted herself up and over. The fiery lieutenant cast a quick glance back at him before she was springing again, bolting up a slanted roof and sliding down the opposite side with grace as she cleared the apex. She didn't stop to look for him this time as she crossed to the building edge.

Dark brows lifted with mild interest as he watched the hottie stuff his wallet into what he presumed was her bra. The outfit she was wearing was almost sinfully tight and were his belongings not at stake Austin would have taken the time to appreciate the way it showed off her a**(ets).
"Maybe you're not playing with the right people," he said in a manner that could have been taken as low and dangerous but he had a feeling that she was a different type of crazy than he expected. Which...probably meant that she was into danger.
Who else would taunt a man the size of Austin so flippantly?
But the 'game' was starting, the chick taking off before she'd even uttered go which he expected and yet did nothing about. Instead, he opted to take advantage of this height and long stride as he took off after her.
He was careful with his pacing, body still warming up to his antics and if he pulled anything...he'd be in trouble. As long as he could keep her in his sights, he was certain he could catch her.
Momentum carried him over the threshold between buildings, sneakers scraping the wall as he hoisted himself up and over with more ease that Minium had-- the advantage of being a human giraffe. Going up and over the slanted roof wasn't too bad, though his pants weren't exactly great for such things and he stumbled with his landing but it didn't deter him.
Instead, he picked up his back, working on maintaining even breathing.
When he sought to leap between buildings he thought that maybe he was catching up and he tried to catch some part of her.

The hesitation was really what almost caught her; powerful or not, her height was a handicap and she knew it. Taking those brief seconds to consider her path brought him too close to her and she spun, turning around to face him in the same breath that she simply... dropped. The fall down to the dumpster below was punctuated with the loud bang of her heels meeting the plastic roof. She fell into a crouch to absorb the shock that jolted up through her legs and rattled her teeth but it did little to stop her. She flashed him an amused smile and jumped back to the alley floor, taking off on the flat ground and heading down the winding, dark passages without a concern. She cleared a stack of palettes left behind what smelled like a Greek restaurant and took a sharp left that brought her face to face with a chain-link fence. She jumped, and vaulted over it, clearing it with the ease of a gymnast. By now she had lost track of him but her sights were on the end of the alley where she saw a roof access ladder.

There was a smugness to the smile starting to spread across Austin's mouth when the chick turned around. His hand was so close to wrapping around some part of her that he was almost certain that he had won-- far more easily than he thought she'd expect but then...
She dropped suddenly and Austin found himself nearly teetering over the edge, feet wobbling while he tried not to completely lose his balance and fall ungracefully over the edge of the roof.
With momentum pulling him forward and not enough clearance to jump onto the other roof, he made himself drop.
Unlike the would-be gymnast, his landing was rough and he landed with a thunk, knees slapping against the dumpster lid and a groan slipping free from his mouth. His legs were wobbly as he made himself stand, trying to spring off of the lid and follow her out of the alley way.
He nearly lost her, catching sight of her ducking past the greek place and he set off after her.
His mind reeled with Austin trying to think of where that alleyway led. If he could cut her off on the other side...
After a second of deliberation he darted down a different alley hoping to cut her off when she popped out the end of the one she'd sprinted down.

Minium could almost feel the cool metal of the ladder as her heels beat a steady rhythm down against the cobbled alley floor. Five seconds, four, three, she began counting. He was nowhere to be seen and if she could just grab that bottom rung and hoist herself up then she knew she'd be free and clear, he'd never even catch her- Suddenly he was in front of her so quickly that she almost tripped up over herself in an attempt to stop. Her feet skid to a stop that nearly sent her stumbling forward but she maintained her balance and thrust her best, most annoyed pout in his direction. "No fair," her words were a sulk but she was barely out of breath. The truth was that what he'd done was entirely too fair - she was a runner, not a thinker, and she hadn't even considered that he would find a faster route to the end of the alley. Apparently she didn't know these back paths quite as well as he did. She took a step back, then another, trying to put space between them as her eyes flickered left and right. No dumpsters to jump from, no ladders to grab, not even a shoddy wood crate to try and get a little more purchase. Her only shot would be taking off in the other direction but she knew he was too fast and, well, long to let her slip through his fingers again if she made a show of it. She risked another step and half-turned, ready to bolt.

His chest was heaving slightly, with Austin having pushed himself a little harder than he would have usually to make sure that he caught her before she'd disappeared and made off with his wallet. Really, he wanted his ID back because it was a pain in the a** to replace, but he'd also like the rest of it too.
Money wasn't exactly in great supply for him considering he wasn't great at keeping a job so he wanted his cash back but he was also pretty convinced he wouldn't be getting it back.
"Mmm, totally fair," he shot back, eying her warily because he didn't trust her for a hot second. Which was probably the smartest thing he could have though because she did some sort of almost maneuver and Austin was lurching forward, attempting to wrap his arms around her before she could escape.

The impish lieutenant hesitated a second too long and it was too late. Just as she turned on her heel and began to put her weight into a run, two long, strong arms wrapped themselves around her body and she felt the mass of him holding her down. She jerked and threw all of her weight forward in an attempt to throw him off balance but she knew that her strength was not the same as a mortal man's. At the end of the day she was still just too small. "Damn it!" She cursed and shoved herself back against him instead, totally aware that she looked like a fish squirming out of water.

Once his arms were around her, it was game over and now Austin's cocky grin was on full display. He even went far enough to show off his strength when he lifted he lifted the squirming woman off the ground for a second, making sure his grip around her arms were secure.
"Gotcha~" He taunted in an almost sing-song voice when he lowered her back down. Austin was careful to make sure his mouth was right by her ear so everything he said was said into it.
One large hand pressed against her sternum, Austin debating if he was going to just reach down and grab his wallet back. He certainly didn't trust her to give it back without being forced to and she got to cop a feel so it was tit for tat, if he was rationalzing it.
"Since I won, I'll be taking this back sweetheart," he all but purred, deciding that he should just retrieve said wallet himself.

A squeal erupted from the tiny woman as he proved his point by picking her up off the ground. It was impossible to resist the urge to kick her feet and she was sure that, had anyone come out to actually see what all the commotion was about, it would have looked absolutely ridiculous. "Yeah, yeah," she mumbled, obviously sour that she had lost her own bet. She had to give to him, though, he was strong and bold, which were usually traits that she found more than appealing. Maybe if she hadn't been so grumpy about her losses she would have had more fun teasing him from the precarious position he had caught her in. As it was, she smirked as his hand pressed flat against her sternum; it was large enough that she felt the weight of it across her whole chest. "I guess fair is fair," she sighed, leaning back into him dramatically so that her weight was barely even held up by her own two feet. She rolled her head back to try and see his face where he towered above her; if he weren't so damned strong she would have just tried to dead weight and slip through his hulking arms. His grip was much too tight. "Don't act like copping a feel wasn't worth it, though."

He'd been with small girls before, but none of them had been as petite as the girl he held against him. Sliding his wallet out was a little tricker than he'd like but he managed, a chuckle rumbling from his chest at her commentary. "Uh-huh," he mumbled, choosing to play along with her when he slid his wallet back where it belonged.
His grip didn't loosen exactly but he did peer down at her with some curiosity. It was like he was weighing his options.
"It wasn't great but maybe I need to try again, now that I'm not trying to reclaim what's mine," Austin mused aloud, letting his hand slide across her belly and up if she didn't fuss. Mindful of where her hands were at all times he let his grip slack just enough that if she wanted to twist, she'd probably get away with it.
There was a high-key chance she'd use this to escape but he was hoping she'd be interested in other things.
"Why don't we...keep chasing that rush huh?" His voice was low, almost sultry when he dipped his head, intentions pretty clear.felyn he's a ******** what can i say
