A few weeks after the events of the strange trap dimension full of bottles, Etoile invited Bernard to come over to Alise's house, something that was only a natural turn of events, given prior discussion... and also given that the two kitties needed a chance to unwind without a risk of being eaten or chased by a big monster or other large creature. As with the time Runelucia visited, Etoile had set out an assortment of her favorite sweets, provided by Alise of course.

With the changing of the seasons, so too had the selection of treats; the candy hearts were still there, as Valentine's had yet to pass, but in place of candy canes and ginger cookies were the marshmallow bunnies and caramel eggs. Any leftover candy from the winter holidays was long gone, not that it ever lasted long with Etoile around.

Alise and Etoile lived in a rather large house, or decently large, anyway, but Alise had warned the cats to remain as inconspicuous as possible; no need to attract unwanted attention, after all. Etoile wasn't quite certain as to how Bernard would be getting into the house, since Etoile's usual ways relied on her small size, but she trusted Alise to have made suitable arrangements. Alise was pretty amazing at things like that, after all!

Now all she had to do was wait...
