Defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life.
Hunt only to feed the Clan, for without prey there are no hunters.
The Clan eats together to ensure every cat is fed.
Hold the Elders, Queens, and Kits in high regard, for without them there is no Clan.
At six moons old, kits become paws and must work hard to earn their Clan name. Only then do they bear the rank of Warrior.
All cats will be taught a minimum of field medicine to heal others when the time is needed.
All kits and apprentices are taught how to lead and manage clans.
Any cat who asks for help deserves the aid of the clan.
Blood does not need to be spilled when words can fix the problem.
An honorable Warrior does not need to kill to win their battles.
Male cats must prove themselves by nurturing kits and apprentices and performing the duties of the nursing queens.
The word of the leader is Code.

MoonClan ideals
Moonclan highly encourages family and accepting every cat for who they are regardless of their past. They strive to raise well balanced kittens that have the same drive for family. They are a very friendly clan wishing to help those in need. Their motto is "It takes a clan to raise a warrior"
Moonclan start their day with a dusk patrol, they rise with the moon, as they live near two-legs that are active in the day. Two more patrols are made when the moon is at it's highest and right before dawn. Hunting parties are sent out and mentors train their apprentices. The clan eats as a clan, once when the dusk patrol returns and again before the dawn patrol leave.
SunClan is important to MoonClan, they make certain to give thanks at first dawn's light for their continuing fortune. They offer thanks before every meal, and after every successful birth. They hold vigils for their fallen and bury their bodies in a "cemetery" barely in the outskirts of their territory. They honor their dead by leaving the largest and smoothest river stone on top of their grave and by bringing flowers to the cemetery each Newleaf and Leaf-fall, during Leaf-bare they clear the snow and fallen leaves from the "tombstones".
Moonclan is very open with regards to other animals and cats. They are a bit wary of non-cat individuals, however, after a period of time spent watching them closely they will warm up to non-cat company. Any cat who asks for help will be given what they need.
Males are invited into the clan during the mating season for a very short stay. They are asked to remain quiet on who their partner was. Should they not comply they will not be asked to return. Should the male be from a clan, the clan the cat was from is put on a probationary period to drive home that the queen's privacy is to be upheld.

As a loner, it's a little touch and go on who she will meet, despite her best intentions to avoid interaction with toms. She would feel considerably more secure in MoonClan, where the majority appears to be fellow she-cats.
