Something strange had to be in your dinner because that night, everyone who went to the carnival seems to have a strange dream. In the dream they are in a snow cover field, all alone. Around them, more snow is softly falling but suddenly, out of nowhere, a little speck of white light flies up to them.
Getting as close to their face as possible, the fairy reaches out and touches their nose with an ice like sensation. It looks as if it was crying though it is hard to tell on the pale body.
‘Please…help us…’
The voice is barely a high pitch whisper before something draws its attention from behind you and it speeds away back to where it came from.
Just as you go to turn around, something strikes and you wake in your bed, your nose cold to the touch.

After going to the carnival, Cynthia had practically collapsed into her bed. She didn’t know why, but she felt as though she hadn’t slept in days. She had gone to the carnival and had eaten some of the food there, though it really wasn’t any good and had then headed home. Before she even saw her house, she felt as though she might just fall on the sidewalk, asleep. She had to force herself to take every little step, onto the front steps, and had to drag herself up to her room, which still seemed to be cold, even if the figurine wasn’t in it anymore.
At least when she hit the bed though, she had fallen asleep, albeit on top of the covers. Which meant she wasn’t going to be that warm tonight! Hopefully she would wake up at some point and realize that she wasn’t covered!
In the memory however, Cynthia could only see that she was in a snow-covered field and… alone. She felt her senses go into high alert. After all, since she could barely see anything, there could be any number of strange and dangerous things out there. Yetis, wolves, Slenderman. The possibilities were endless! And as hard as she tried to get herself to wake up, pinching, hitting, etc. she couldn’t make herself open her eyes. It seemed to be an unfortunate case of sleep paralysis.
Suddenly though, a speck of light, which reminded her of Navi from Ocarina of Time, could be seen in the distance, and before she could even blink, it had gotten right in front of her. She tried to smack it away considering it was way too close to her face, but it dodged her hand. At least it pulled back a little though.
Just as she felt herself relax a little bit, the fairy, that she could now see, went and touched her nose! And it was freezing! Cynthia yelped a bit at the cold sensation, wanting to get it away from her poor nose! But the fairy held on, as though it was here to torture her. It looked like it had a sad face if Cynthia looked closely enough, but the fairy could get her attention without continually holding onto her poor nose!
The fairy let out an almost silent please, before it seemed to spot something behind Cynthia and then darted away. While Cynthia was happy that her nose was no longer in danger of hypothermia via fairy hand, she did wonder just what the heck it was that the fairy saw, and right as Cynthia was about to turn around and look at it, she felt a strike on her head, and suddenly she was awake once more!
She groaned at having been forced awake in such a manner and touched her nose and realized that it was still freezing. She wondered if it was the fairy in the dream, or the fact that she didn’t have any covers over herself. She sighed and pulled the blankets over her figure, hoping that her circulation would eventually heat her nose up again.
