In order to become a member of the RFWDAA a kennel needs to meet certain requirements. Once a kennel is registered with the club it can receive additional benefits and prestige by achieving certain milestones within the club appropriate breeds. In order to update your status with the club you need only to post in this thread with the form spoilered under the appropriate section.
General Membership Requirements: A Ch or FCh in each of the FCI Group 8 breeds currently available at GKC.
For speciality kennels that are not able to host all of the available breeds, they need only have Ch or FCh dogs of the breeds they are capable of hosting. However they must have an additional champion dog of a breed they can have for every breed they can not have so that they are starting their club membership with the same total number of dogs as kennels who can have all possible breeds.
Benefits: Club membership allows kennels full access to all RFWDAA shows and events.
Conformation Distinction Requirements: 5+ FCI Group 8 dogs with conformation titles (Ch.) Benefits: An additional entry in all club conformation shows.
Conformation Excellence Requirements: 3+ FCI Group 8 dogs with grand conformation titles (GCh.) Benefits: A free dog of one of the FCI Group 8 breeds and additional entries in all club hosted conformation shows.
Field Distinction Requirements: 5+ FCI Group 8 dogs with field titles (FCh.) Benefits: An additional entry in all club field shows.
Field Excellence Requirements: 3+ FCI Group 8 dogs with grand field titles (GFCh.) Benefits: A free dog of one of the FCI Group 8 breeds and additional entries in all club hosted field shows.
Agility Distinction Requirements: 5+ FCI Group 8 dogs with agility titles (ACh.) Benefits: An additional entry in all club agility shows.
Agility Excellence Requirements: 3+ FCI Group 8 dogs with master agility titles (MACh.) Benefits: A free dog of one of the FCI Group 8 breeds and additional entries in all club hosted agility shows.
Breeding Distinction Requirements: Own three generations of championship dogs (Ch, FCh, and/or ACh), in the same family. All three dogs must have earned their titles while in your kennel and must be direct descendants (grandmother > mother > daughter, not grandmother > aunt > daughter). Generations may be skipped, so long as there are at least three champions in the direct line (great grandmother > mother > daughter). Benefits: An additional entry in all club breeding raffles.
Breeding Excellence Requirements: Own four generations of championship dogs from two completely unrelated family lines. Same restrictions apply as for the Breeding Distinction. The two lines may not share any common ancestors. Benefits: A free breeding to be used for one of the dogs from from either family line.
Speciality Distinction Requirements: Have a FCI Group 8 dog who has acquired all possible basic level titles: DCh (Ch & FCh), ACh, OD, and RCC. Benefits: A free dog of one of the FCI Group 8 breeds.
Speciality Excellence Requirements: Have a FCI Group 8 dog who has acquired all possible highest level titles: DGCh (GCh & GFCh), MACh, ODX, and XCC. Benefits: A free dog of each of the FCI Group 8 breeds.

Basic membership requirements are fairly easy to meet. All that is required to become a registered member of the Retriever, Flushing, and Water Dogs Association (RFWDA) is having a Ch or FCh dog of each FCI Group 8 breed currently available through GKC. If a kennel is not able to have all of the current FCI Group 8 dogs currently available then it only needs to have Ch or FCh dogs of the breeds it is capable of housing. A kennel must be able to have at least one of the breeds in order to participate.
The FCI Group 8 dogs available at GKC are: Labrador Retrievers American Cocker Spaniels.
Additional distinctions can be achieved by reaching certain milestones in Labrador Retriever or American Cocker Spaniel excellence.

Welcome to the Gaian Kennel Club's Retriever, Flushing, & Water Dogs Appreciation Association (RFWDAA). Here at the RFWDAA we are taking care to develop the strongest FCI Group 8 dogs in order to raise them to status of GKC's most competitive breeds!

Membership in the RFWDAA gives kennels access to special member only events and giveaways, as well as additional entries in club hosted shows. Basic membership requires only that a kennel has shown some effort towards furthering the FCI Group 8 breeds, but members who reach particular milestones are granted additional distinctions which are represented on their club badge.
The club was founded by Mainframe Kennels.

Here is where we show off our club's top dogs! One dog from each of the three categories of the RFWDAA is chosen to be displayed based on their individual achievements. Dog's can be spotlighted for any reason, including: receiving a new title, earning a prominent placement in a show, or to show off their excellent litters.
At the Annual Speciality Club Event all previous spotlight winners will be displayed again, and all of the owners of the spotlight dogs will be entered in a raffle for a special prize.
If you have a dog that you think should have a turn in the spotlight, please fill out this form and post it in the club thread. The BiS, Top in Trial, or 1st Place Agility winner of the previous month's speciality show will generally be selected for that breed's spotlight dog. New spotlight dogs are chosen on the first Saturday of every month. PM or Discord message Andraia if you have any questions about dog spotlights.

Blurb of no more than 500 words, talking about the dog and it's achievements. Be sure to mention how this dog has contributed to the breed, or what it might contribute in the future (on its own, or in the form of future generations).
Daisy DCh. Bien Rolling Around in the Garden 3rd Highest Top Labrador Retriever of All Time
Daisy is an excellent field dog, although her over-enthusiastic nature and less than amazing gate have kept her placing second in every field show she's ever been entered in. Her talents do not lie in conformation, although her temperament is quite good, so her owner her owner has high hopes for her eventual litters.

Rincewind FCh. Mainframe's Crippling Overspecialization ACh. RCC Top in Flushing
Rincewind has the distinction of being from the first ever litter of American Cocker Spaniels. He, like his name suggests, is a bit of a one-trick-pony. He has excellent sport stats but has never quite had the talent for conformation. His excellent gait will hopefully lead to future generations of excellent flushing dogs.
Owned by Mainframe Kennels
There are no Water Dogs breeds currently in GKC.

This area will be used to highlight the championship lineages of our club's Breeders of Distinction. Any family of dogs that has produced at least three generations of champions (Ch, FCh, or ACh) qualify. In order to add a family to this listing, or to update an existing one, please PM Andraia or message her on Discord.
