I'm very sorry to have to inform everyone that I (Aileeya) have been completely banned from gaiaonline. During the Halloween event, because of a deadline, gaiaonline had to perform a migration. This meant that loads of features went down, including the event of course and there was massive frustration all around. Lanzer kept posting that things were back up, when in fact they weren't....well, I fell to temptation and posted in the feedback forum suggesting that someone tell Lanzer to quit prematurely promising things were functional when they clearly weren't. People responded to this thread and it stayed on the front page for a while.
I had intended to post a thank you when the event came back up, but knowing how limited my time to be online actually was, I put it off. Unfortunately, I'm afraid someone feeling defensive of Lanzer decided to get revenge.....because the next thing I know is every. single. account, other than this one was banned. All of my family members accounts, every single mule account I've ever made, all of them were banned--and get this---it was for "runway exploitation". Now, by that time, I'd not even voted in the runway for ....I don't know, six months? Anyway, the only "exploitative" thing I can think of is that I gifted the bundles I earned every 8 days of voting to my main--but I didn't do that on the guild mules, and still 2 out of 3 of them were banned too!
If anyone is familiar with Sargon of Akkad, I'm afraid it's very much a similar thing...someone got offended and then searched for SOMEthing, ANYthing that they could ban me for and settled on that. If THAT was "funneling" then I've been funneling halloween items to one mule for years....I've been funneling collectible letters to a single account for years....I've been funneling holiday items and zOMG items to specific accounts too (Aileeyas Holiday Mule and Aileeyas zOMG Storage respectively) I think it's extremely obvious to anyone looking that I never ever intended to break any ToS, I just collected items and loosely organized them on specific accounts. I had just been finishing up earning platinum from the zOMG event on EACH account. It's EXTREMELY obvious I wasn't funneling but, well...rather obsessively trying to keep things symmetrical/even. ANYway, I'm very sorry...of course I have contacted gaiaonline...I did so the day of, this being the ONLY account they left. I've not heard bupkiss. Given how things are going here (gaiaonline, not the guild) I don't necessarily expect to hear back from them. They've been shooting themselves in their own feet for years now and I'm not expecting especially rational behavior from them. I've done everything I can--including pointing out that I never "funneled" chirpette bundles from the guild mules--as well as the fact that they ARE guild mules, they're not my accounts, I've asked multiple times that even if they never return access to my accounts, that they should return the mules to the guild. I've asked that they check their account inventories--the bundles are still there. (This is one of the reasons that leads me to the conclusion that this was a deliberate, spiteful, malicious action that was very personal indeed rather than some algorithm.) -Because of that, again, I'm so so sorry. I never should have put off saying "Thank you!" for the eventual functionality of the Halloween zOMG event. I'm afraid there's every chance in the world that if I'd done that, NONE of the banning would have happened.

You worked so hard on those accounts for all these years and now they're just gone? Is there anything any of us can do to help?

heart I can't think of anything...Moderators can't "unban" accounts, they can only look into why they were banned, and I've already been told..."runway exploitation" I can't think of any way the runway could be exploited except through collecting the chirpette bundles....but that seems silly--I got way more than they were worth just by doing the dailies....which when you think about it is another way they've been aiming for those feet of theirs...the hyper-inflation is ridiculous. At first, I checked my e-mail every day...then a couple of times a week, then once a month-so I missed their AUTOMATED reply...which gave me a 4 day window to respond before automatically closing the query. SO I'm at the back of the line again. xp
