Bio.
Nate grew up in the slums, his mother was a cheep "escort" and his father was always out doing less then savery work while he was home he was always drunk, and sleeping on a good day. Nate was abused almost regularly with beatings and grew emotionally detached from the world. Having only have gone to a school to learn the basics of reading and writing he taught himself the rest and did a very good job at it. One day he had found a cargo crate that was full of old books and mostly covered in rubble, he spent a good deal of time there, just reading, it turned out that the crate was full of military records and notes from Shinras labs. He grew rather fond of some of the books about meteria, magics, programming and the engenearing ones as well. he cleared out all the unwanted files from it and used it as if it was a place to get away from home when things got to bad. after reading the books for a few years he wanted to test some of the things he read in there over the years, and most of it worked, the schematics for simple devices worked just fine and he experimented and found ways to build other devices of his own design. after turning 17 he left home found a warn down old house and calmed it as his own. He turned that small house into his own lab, set up traps to capture rats, cats and other small animals that would wonder in and used them in his experiments or even food when he got to lazy to go out and get something for himself. Most of the books from that cargo crate he had placed in a room of his new found home, scavenged tools, and raw meteral for his experiments from all the junk around, or the more rare times of steeling them from trucks and train yards. by 20 his lab felt complete, a generator to power the house, several books he wrote himself to keep track of his experiments, and even his own mako chamber in the basement that he built based off a plan he had found and modified it to work with what he had. by the age of 21 he had found ways to make use of meteria as a super condensed power source, and even how to alter the effects one can have, but it was still a work in progress, by the time he turned 23 he started sleeping with small shock pads all over his body to give himself controlled shocks to stimulate muscle growth without having to do anything to do any real work. he found that meteria can be activated by using a strong electric burst into it's core, and even found a way to make meteria activate it's self at the press of a button and how to alter meteria's inner magic to make spells unlike any other seen before. due to this he found ways to mix magic and technology which he called "fringe" science which he dedicated most of his life to. when he turned 25 he found ways to use his mako chamber to condense the size of meteria and even blend several together but still use each one seperatly, even qualify them. Almost every experiment he had done through the books he found as a kid, and thery worked out, and now he has his eyes set on use of meteria on and in living creatures. another year went by in what felt like a flash to him, not one of his bio magical creations had worked, the subjects always died in extreme pain except for those on monsters, but those turned out to be beyond his ability to control on his own so he had to put them all down. he was determined to find a way to get beyond that limit, and was tempted to join shinra, though he didn't want to be bound by things like deadlines, and being told what to do, Instead he focused on improving his older inventions. Having turned 27 his use of bio magic hasn't born any seeds, but his lab seemed to look more professional, he even spent enough time to make a small computer the same size as a cellphone, operated through headphones that could pick up and send information straight to his mind, as though the computer was an extension of his own body. he made a hand gun and coated it in gold, it functioned like a normal gun from the outside, but it was operated by one of his combined and condensed meteria to fire out bolts of pure magic. a long side it he found a way to make a pen project a spell from meteria magnify it several times over and project it into a 3 foot long beam. and a pare of goggles that mixed meteria in for a power source, and lenses that allowed him to see the flow of magic. linking the pen, gun and goggles together through a thin wire that ran down the sleeves of his jacket he's able to control the spells each used through the goggles tracking his eyes movement. Having turned 28 he had spent most of his life in the lab, bio magic still avoided his grasp, and social skills... were lacking to say the least, though he did seem to speek to a voice in his head from time to time. One day he found himself in midgar, and sold off some of the files he had from shinra, and made a sizable amount of gill even more so if he looked for a higher payer, but he wasn't that well versed in the way people acted around each other besides the memories of the daily beatings from his father that still haunt his mind. He spent a good bit on fitted clothes mostly tuxedos thinking they looked rather nice and felt rather nice as well, though it was strange he got his fashion sense from his farther, and the turks. He found that most of his gag-its fit very will inside the coat, and couldn't be seen from the outside. he desided it was time for himself to set off into the world so he spent a day gathering up some of his inventions and meteria into a suitcase, dismantling his left behind inventions and finaly burning down the house. Eventually he found his way out of midgar and into Rocket Town where things were normaly calm. Over the few months he lived there he rebuilt a smaller version of his old lab, he found work as a simple mechanic and never working on things that were more complicated, though all his work was done flawlessly he didn't want to spend more time doing things besides research if he could help it.
