When you open your eyes, you soon realize... that wasn't your crush/loved one at all, but a total stranger! Oh no!

The Exporium was crowded with festive friends and cuddling couples. Being a icy white cat had it's advantages in being unnoticed in a winter wonderland but it also meant he could be easily stepped on.
As he walked past the food stalls and Christmas displays, the laughing and chime of bells dimmed down into the distance as snow crunched under his paws. Here and there a few ribbons and springs of misletoe and Holly dotted the evergreen trees.
And there, in the soft caress of snow, he saw a dark-colored Mauvian. He could feel the signature of chaos and in the haze he thought of Enyo. It had been a long time.
He moved slowly as he called to her. "It's so nice to see you. Can you stay a moment?"

Lace had originally came here with her twin brother Silk, but during their dodging game of people trying to step on the small kittens, Lace had lost him. Normally she would've just broken away and used the nega tablets to reach him, but she didn't think her brother would be inclined to answer her.
She probably should've come here with Seraphanite or Carneli.....
She continued to dodge and weave through feet as she used peoples footprints in the snow as holes for her to get around. Eventually, she did feel the aura of an order cat and her whole body arched back up.
She almost hadn't seen the white furred cat until he was near her and her head shook back and forth. He wasn't attacking right away, so her arched back rested down and she shyly buried her head in her fluff.
"H..Hello." She said meekly, "C...Can I help...help you?"

His eyes flickered up to the string of mistletoe above her, dusted with sparkling white snow that twinkled from distant holiday lights.
Looking back down, he saw she was if anything, a young Mauvian. Almost pure black. If asked, he would have said she looked like Tama's sister. Moving closer but still slowly, he smiled sweetly to her.
"Well, I saw you there and.....I wanted to give you a little present. For the season of course. If you would allow me to give you one."
Despite the fact she wasn't Enyo as he first thought, the fluttering feeling was still present with the sight of the new mauvian. It brought about a compulsion to be a bit more playful or just in general humor the tradition of the sprig above her head.
"I need to change to look like a person to give it. If you don't mind. It will be for just a moment. I promise it is nothing harmful."

Lace wasn't sure what Arthur saw, but since he still wasn't attacking her, she came out of her fluff and sat down, studying him. He didn't have an ounce of malice towards her, being an order cat and all, so she assumed it'd be okay.
"A present?" She liked presents, and Lace was too young to think of strings attached to it. If he wasn't going to attack her, and give a gift instead, maybe that was good! She blinked at his request, looking around.
There wasn't many people but that was okay, the small kitten didn't think there was anyone powered here at the carnival. She could be in her human form so long as no one saw!
She closed her eyes, willing herself to change and soon the small kitten was replaced with a teenage girl with dark skin, white hair and bright yellow eyes.
"Okay!." She shifted her fluff, a small blush raising on her cheeks. "I..I did the thing!" She looked around nervously again, her black tail swishing behind her. "Do...Do you need something else?"
She really wanted to know what the present was!

He was surprised she could change. Being a young lady, he had thought it might take some time to learn the trick. Maybe he had just been a slow learning in that regard.
"Wonderful. I'm impressed you know how to change already. Not many mauvians I've met know how."
Moving closer, his own form shown anf shimmered before changing to a tall, blank man. The blues and whites of his outfit matched the cool white of the snow around them. He shivered at the change in temperature and loss of his fur coat.
Much taller now, he smiled and moved the steps between them to stand before her. "For this gift, I want you to know. This is what happens when a young beauty stands under mistletoe."
He lightly touched her face and knelt down. For a moment he moved close to her lips but thought better of it. Someone special would have the honor of being that first. Not some stranger like him taking advatage of a holiday tradition.
Instead, cupping her chin, he kissed her cheek.

She had been humanoid for a bit before, but she only did it if another mauvian was around to keep her hidden, aura wise.
"I learned from my uncle Bob!" She puffed up, thinking of the older mauvian that wasn't her real uncle, but she called him that cause he was like that to her. He taught her and Silk all sorts of things!
When he shifted, she nervously played with her fingers, cause he was much taller then her and much bigger. But his outfit was nice and she liked that it made him seem super wintery!
She was often told she looked cute and halloweeny.
She blinked, her chin turning up and blush spreading across the teens cheeks when he pressed his lips to her cheek.
"O...Oh." She turned all sorts of shades red because she had seen Sera and his...his...thing...(aka Cass) do this sort of stuff before but they usually kicked her out.
This was....a kiss!
"You do....do this for mistletoe??"

He smiled at her, releasing her chin as he watched the color flood her pale features that he almost wondered if she would turn red to the tip of her tail. To reassure her and because he found her particularly endearing because of her reaction, he reached to brush a hand through her hair in an affectionante way. If he had been a predatory kind of man, he might have felt inclinded to go for more. Instead, he could only hope she never came across such a person.
"It is. If you stand under it, someome can come and kiss you. A way to spread cheer, love, and a little warmth for the holidays." He removed his hand.
"If you see someone you like standing under one or bring someone you like over under one, you can use it's magic to kiss them. If you know someone like that, you should try it."
He glanced up and plucked the sprig off the tree, the bundle tied by a little, red ribbon, and held it to her. "You can even take it with you and hold it over their head. Here." He set the sprig in her hand.

Lace was almost red all the way to the tip of her tail. If she didn't know better, even her hair would turn red with embarrassment. His brush over her hair made her relax a bit more, reminding her more of Carneli and Seraphanite. Even though he was order, he was being very nice.
"That sounds like magic!" She breathed out and wondered if she told Silk, what her brother would do with it! He had a crush on his senshi after all, maybe he would ask her for a kiss! "Thank you so much for showing me this!"
She wanted to share it with ALL the people now! Especially Carn and Sera and Silk!
"You're giving me this?" She took the wrapped mistletoe with wonderment and then clutched it close to her chest. "Thank you so much Arthur!" What a wonderful christmas gift to give to someone!
"You are very sweet!"MoonKitsune We could wrap soon! ovo since Arthur has spread his CHEEER ON TO HER.

He smiled back. "And you are very sweet too. Do take care of yourself. And remember the misteltoe works best up till Christmas so don't wait to make use of it."
"Now lets change back. We wouldn't want to attract any trouble like this." His form shimmered and he was back to his cat form.
He coukd hear people heading their way meaning they couldn't talk much longer. "Till we meet again, darling. Have a happy holiday to you and your own." And with that he went to dash through the snow to find hinself a hot beverage.

Lace shifted immediately as Arthur did and put the mistletoe in her mouth. A lot of muffled thanks came out and she shifted the new gift in her mouth.
She couldn't wait to tell Sera and Carneli and and and...
All the people!
