A classic source for heart-filled, homemade Winter Solstice presents -- markets! What better gift is there than a lovingly crafted ceramic bowl or locally made preserves? You can find any number of things at the market, and whether you walk home with your arms full of goodies or just your heart full of joy, you've gone home a winner.
Of course, the real winner is the one who makes the money, honey. With most hipsters simply browsing your wares, pointing out cute trinkets and moving on, the true winner is the one who can catch their attention and convince them to purchase your whole shelf of wonky soy candles. Let's get savvy!
How this Works:
- You have seven days to set up your stall and sell as much as you can! Every day you get to rng to determine what product you've sold for the day
You can only roll seven times, and only once a day. For example, you could roll every day from Dec 1st to Dec 7th, or roll once on Dec 3rd, then again Dec 11th etc. as long as you only roll seven times
Pick your stall theme and write down your products for that theme - you can sell five different types of products, ranging from $5 to $50. Rename the X in the post code with your product name
The first code you use shows how much of each product you have. For example, if you roll your $50 product on the first day, you have to take it out of your list of available products. Similarly, if you rolled a $5 product, you'd be down to 9 $5 products instead of 10
The next two posts are a sample post so you can see how to set up your stall on your first and second days
Every day you should repost your 'market stall' post, removing the product you had rolled the previous day
Every day you then rng the number of products you have left. On the first day, you will rng between 1 and 21, the next it will be 1 and 20 etc.
Whoever has earned the most money by the end of the event wins!
Edited note: The intent of having the amount earned from today's roll in the next day's post was to minimise editing, however you are free to do it as you go. For those who are including their earnings in the following day, make sure to make a final post (with no roll) after your seventh day to say how much you earned overall
