Elderly, children, young women -- she hung around community centers, schools and nursing homes for the most part. It wasn't the most ideal of situations - ideal would be having someone else do the work for her - but it made for quick and easy and Sweetite could appreciate getting the job done quickly and efficiently.
Which was why, that evening, she found herself lurking around the outskirts of one of DC's many community centers, laying in wait for a potential target to depart from the double door entrance of the building.

Tuesday evenings were probably the most "lively" of Prudence Frost's week, save for morning and evening church services on Sunday.
The local outreach program associated with the church tended to do their events on Tuesday and Pru tried her best to put forth a valiant effort to participate, if anything to set a good example for the younger members of the church but also, as always, to ensure the security of her promised spot in the afterlife, halo and all.
She certainly felt as though she deserved a halo after the afternoon of sorting various foods and canned goods for the local food bank, if not at least an additional jewel in her figurative heavenly crown. It was a bizarre wonder, what sorts of items people felt the need to donate -- didn't they know what proper staples were for a family's dinner table?
Caviar and champagne arriving from a wealthy couple feeling the need to do a "good deed" left her head shaking, but the items were filed away nonetheless. Boxed meals and canned vegetables were put in their designated spots, candies and treats with little to no nutritional value found their homes in other boxes.
All in all, she spent nearly four hours helping the group sort and store away the boxes in the back of the shelter's truck before it was time to call it quits. Hopefully, with any luck, many families would have a decent Thanskgiving thanks to the generosity of some of Destiny City's more selfless citizens.
Proud of her accomplishments and tired from the physical work, she clutched onto her purse tightly as she made her way out the front doors, her home only a few mere blocks away from the community center.
