This wasn't usually Selena's thing, exploring haunted houses and seeing if there was anything to the truth of the matter. No, Selena wouldn't have usually even considered it - his job was far from exploring spooky things.

Except that his job was to assist people, to help people. Selena cursed his soft heart though as he approached the house, only to perk his ears curiously when he saw someone already there.

"Ah, hello. Did Elle send you to investigate this place too?"

Elle was the name of his.....customer, he supposed. Though at this point it was more a favour for a friend. Elle had been his customer for years at this point, and was as close to a friend as Selena came.

Selena allowed his ears to tilt backwards slightly, dipping in a show of displeasure.

"Ah. I wasn't aware the stories had spread so far...."

Soon enough they returned to normal however, as he tilted his head curiously at the kumiho.

"Probably yes, Elle recently obtained this property, but is having trouble selling it due to the rumours."

He looked up at the house. He could see why the rumours were there. Perhaps he should suggest to Elle that she renovate the place, rather than simply selling it as investment potential. Mind you, he knew that she had obtained this as a part of a set of properties of which the others were better, so admittedly it was a lower priority.

He suspected that part of the reason Elle had asked him was so that he could provide such insights - he had a good sense of aesthetics and design, and she'd asked him for help renovating houses in the past.

He drew out a notepad and pen, and started scribbling suggestions for the outside of the house whilst he walked up the steps. The traditional gothic archtiecture of the property probably didn't help with the rumours, but cleaned up could be attractive - and the large windows when cleaned would certainly provide a light, airy atmosphere with the high ceilings....and that balcony on the upper floor could provide a landing rest for flight-equipped species, hmm, that could be a good selling point....

He was scribbling away for a short while before he realised what he'd been doing. With a short cough, he tucked the notebook away.

"Apologies, just making some notes about the facings. Would you care to go inside? I have a key just in case, but it shouldn't be locked..."
