Light Elves and the Ikana Family

Light Elf Overview
Lem'yuur in their native tongue, but often called Lemurians or Light Elves by other Races. Lemurians hail from Lemuria, a forest with trees taller than the rest and canopies to match. The Canopy is in fact so dense, all light is cut out from underneath. Though there are many villages in Lemuria, there is only one city. The city is nameless, though tourists call it the Lemurian Capitol. The city is built around a massive tree from long, long ago and can be seen from space. Though the other races know of this tree as "The Yew Tree" and Native Lem'yuure know it by another name. The Tree of Life, the source of their Longlivity. Every lake in Lemuria gathers as the springs below the Tree of Life. Just like most other races, the Light Elves are Dexterous and Agile, but unlike most elf breeds, the Lemurians are heavy in technology

Light Elf Longlivity
Due to living so close to the tree of life for as long as they have, the Light elves have grown resistant to the ravages of time. Their Borders are closed to most outsiders, causing them to be less time conscious. Moments to them can be weeks to common folk. The Lifespan of a Light elf is Fifty years, but their age equivalency is one year for every thousand. Due to this long life span, Light elves spend allot of time in school and training in combat. Their lack of care for time causes them to become hardened warriors at what other Lemurians would consider a young age. The Lemurian army is both feared and undefeated.

Light Elf Agility
Light elves are far beyond double jointed. Boasting both unmatched flexibility and perfect balance, the Light Elves make the best acrobats, and usually have fluid-like acrobatic fighting styles with movements that are both amazing and lethal. Things that woul dislocate a human can be done by lemurians without even a tickle. Like all creatures, Light elves will get dizzy if they mess around too much. Because of their different skeletal layout, they are bad at taking hits. They bruise easier than any other race, and broken bones take much longer to heal.

Light Elf Technology
For as long as people can remember, Light elves have always been considered advanced. Their weapons range from Dagger-Pistols to rifle spears, to the highly advanced Lemurian signature weapon, the Tech-Bow. Most of their weapons are either Clockwork, Hydraulic, or Flintlock. They have no automatic Weapons, all their Rifle-type weapons are bolt-action and usually made of mythrill. The hydraulic weapons they use usually have low ammo capacity, but hit hard. Most would consider their hanguns Fifty-Calibure, but the Light Elves consider them basic. They have Hologram devices they use for communicating, earpieces for the same use, and even trucks, though most of them use Warbikes, Beastly motorbikes that run on electricity with a surprisingly long battery-life.

Light Elf Technology> The Tech Bow
The tech bow is the signature weapon of the Ikana. though many have tried the replicate this marvel of technology, they are never the same. The tech bow is an arm mounted weapon, appear as a gauntlet in its passive stage. When its time to fight, the Lemurian makes a hand gesture which puts pressure on a valve, releasing two wide arcs of metal and a holographic string that solidifies in mere moments. A device along the Lemurian's arm anchors the arrow and holds in in place with a small tube. There are three of these tubes, so three arrows can be loaded at once. Once the arrow is in place, the Lemurian aims their Techbow at the target, the top arc has a scope integrated into it with a holographic lazer sight crosshair for aim assistance. When its time to fire the techbow, the Lemurian simple clenches their fist. The quick expansion of the device's tight binding on certain pressure points cause the bow the crush a hydraulic capsule on the Shaft of the arrow. Ontop of this, the string also chucks the arrow, further augmenting the arrows power. The pressure straps were put in ares so only intentional clenches would fire it, an accidental clench wont work. The arrows are the size of harpoons, and usually kept in a low hanging quiver. The arrows are heavy, and only ten can be carried at once, but they fired arrows can be retrieved. When it it's passive form, the techbow can be used as a shield. The Techbow is extremely powerfull, and will kill an opponent instantly if the oppnent is hit in the head, if hit in the chest, the chest, the opponent will be sent ragdolling across the battlefield with a harpoon in their chest. There is no such thing as a "almost hit" with a techbow. If the techbow fires an arrow and it touches the opponent, it will tear off whatever it hits. If it "Almost hits" an arm, and would supposedly leave a cut, it would actually tear the arm off. The techbow takes a turn to reload. Recycled arrows will be weaker, but still powerfull.

Ikana Family Genetics
All of the Current Generation Ikana are brothers of Kuro. Because of this fact, only Genetic traits carried in Mamillia and Hakuro can be present in an Ikana. Some traits, labled (R) are rare in the Ikana, but can still be present. Traits labeled (D) are dominant, and always present in an Ikana.

Hakuro Ikana's Genetics:
White Hair, Silver Hair, Long pointed Ears (D), Pale Skin, Cyan Eyes, Neon-Green eyes, Purple Eyes, Orange Eyes, Pink Eyes (R), Naturally Black Fingernails, Naturally Gray/Silver Fingernails

Mamillia Ikana's Genetics:
Black Hair (R), Shark-like teeth (R), Any Realistic-Colored skin, Needle Shaped Pupil (D), No Eyebrows, Orange Eyes, Blue Eyes, Green Eyes, Gray Eyes, Gray Lips, Pointed Fingernails (R)

Powers of the Ikana
The Ikana family have three unique abilities. The first, Manipulation of the metal Ikarium is the most well known, but the other two are virtually unheard of. The second ability is genetic in most light elves, Larru'tenshi mi Lemuria ( Eyes of the Lightelf ) and the Ballistic Overdrive.

Larru'tenshi mi Lemuria
The "Eyes of the Lightelf" are a genetic ability present in most Lemurians. The ability's activation can be identified when the Lemurian's eye has a second pupil beside the original, aswell as a compass rose-like design along the edge of the iris that increases and decreases in length and thickness depending how close the opponent is. In this state, the Ikana's eyes can see things that most other races cannot. The first is sound. The world around them seemingly loses color, and sound can be seen shaded green or red around where it is coming from. The soundwaves appear as lines of color, Red meaning loud and dangerous, green meaning soft and harmless. The shaded ares are where the sound comes from, with colors meaning the same thing. The next thing the eyes see are transparent walls. All obstacles like walls, buildings and even vehicles become semi-transparent and the Ikana can see a shaded version of the creatures behind the object, only it has no features and appears as a shadow. The final ability of the Eyes of the Lightelf is the most used. At will, The Lemurian can see things at a thermal level, though this ability can be acttivated at will and does not requires a separate activation. When seeing at a Thermal level, the Lemurian's Iris has an orange edge, and the pupil turns white. Naturally, Light elves can see perfectly in dark, due to coming from the pitch black forests of Lemuria.

Ikana Family Ballistic Overdrive
Using mana and Ikarium, the Ikana turns their entire body into a weapon. Dependiong on how many weapons are present, movement can be difficult. Though the forms and effects of the weapons vary between Ikana, the common factor for them all is simple. Ballistic overdrive turns the Ikana into a living battleship.

Ikana Limitations
Due to the natural mental bond with their Metals, the Ikana have trouble using Mana. When trying to control an element, their mana constantly tries to switch to Ikarium. The result of this is the ability to use only one element, but any element other than Fire, Water, Ice, Wind, Electricity, or Earth comes out as Ikarium, limiting them to those six elements. Even with that, they generally take longer to learn to use their element for ranged attacks. On the other side however, Ikana are natural weapon masters, able to use any weapon with perfection, given that they've trained in that style. They are excellent close range fighters with excellent speed and precision, but lack elemental control and mana deposits. Controlling Ikarium does not use Mana, as the efficiency of Ikarium relies heavily on the Ikana.

Ikarium Overview
The signature metal of the Ikana family, Pronounced ( ike-ree-yum ). The very roots of their vast wealth. Ikarium, a solid mass with such tight chemical bonding, it can be sharpened to very violent lengths and still remain nearly indestructible. When being manipulated by an Ikana, its strength and sharpness depends on how the Ikana is doing physically. When in their prime, the very blades from their skin can slice through even the strongest armors like a hot knife through butter. When weakened to near death, the metal will be as strong as oak. When the Ikana dies, the metal disintegrates into a dust. It can switch from a solid to a liquid on the Ikana's whim, but once disconnected from the living medium, it is impossible to return it to a liquid, as its boiling point is currently unknown. The skin and blood of the Ikana is bolstered with Ikarium cells, meaning if their burned, microscopic cells become airborne, giving the Ikana the ability to form objects in mid air.

Ikarium is made up of microscopic weaving metals that have been folded a thousand times over inside the Ikana's body. This process occurs as fast as a human makes blood. The Ikarium is created in Ironglands, located mostly in the joints of an Ikana, and on the Ikana's bones. There is also a thin liquid layer of Ikarium under the skin, the bones of an Ikana are made of Ikarium aswell. As long as it dose not come in contract with oxygen, Ikarium remains super flexible, in a liquid-like form but still maintains is microscopic weaving. Once Ikarium leaves the body of an Ikana, the weaving tightens, creating a nearly unbreakable silver colored alloy. The bonds are so strong, they can withstand even the strongest force, and still retain a perfectly smooth surface. Due to sharing a mental bond with the Vessel, Ikarium can be controlled just like an extension of the body, capable of everything from brute force, to the most precise movements. It also retains a sort of Mental force field to prevent others from using it, and to parry any non-physical weapons/attacks.

Splitting the mental bond is indeed possible. the key source of the Ikana family's wealth comes from Ikarium weapons and armor, sought after for the effectiveness, ornate design, and ability to never dull. Once the bond between the metal and the Ikana is severed, the metal can no longer changed, as its boiling point is not only undiscovered, but also probably impossible TO discover. The metal will still maintain the mental barrier though, as that's what ensures it will never dull or scratch. Skilled warriors can even deflect small magical projectiles with Ikarium weapons, but most of the time they just end up missing or getting killed trying.

Ikana use these components to their advantage, forging weapons and armor made of Ikarium for large sums of money. Ornate versions are among the most beautiful works of art, worn by kings, nobles, or wealthy thieves. Their light wight and super tough plates provide great use to weaker soldiers. A plate as thin as a piece of paper can withstand astounding amounts of force before even bending. A piece of Ikarium has yet to be broken, but it is extremely weak to a certain thing.

Ikarium Ironglands
The Ikana control Ikarium as an extension of their body, moving every millimeter of it on nonexistent strings. They can move it just as easy as anyone can move their finger, but quicker. Their bones are also made of the metal. Each joint has a bubble of black liquid called an Irongland. Ironglads are also located in the skull, inside of bones (replacing marrow) and in their blood. Ironglands release Ikarium cells, microscopic bits of liquid Ikarium. Ironglands can create Ikarium cells faster than blood, but Ikarium cells seem to self replicate most of the Nutrients blood needs. Ikarium cells are stored just under the skin, forming a thin liquid armor like layer under the Ikana's skin. Minor and medium damage wounds are sealed almost instantly by the layer's extra supplies, but critical wounds cannot heal as quick.
i.e. losing an arm: the wound would seal, but the arm will only grow back if the Ikana creates a new one. Creating a new limb takes two weeks, but re-attacking it is painless, as the Ikana body reacts using a stream of Mana separate from the Mana they use in combat. This stream attaches to their nerves and organs.

Ikarium Underskin
The layer of liquid Ikarium under the Ikana's skin is called the Underskin. The Underskin bonds with the Flesh, giving it a nonexistent feel. An Ikana's skin will be smooth and soft, but stronger than even the most professional armors. The underskin has three weaknesses, but the most odd is Ikarium weapons. Ikarium weapons cut the underskin as if it wasn't even there. The downside to this is only an Ikana can supply an Ikarium weapon. With additional use of the Electric based Manas, an Ikana can charge their body with electricity, so any contact with metal will electrocute the attacker. The underskin provides complete immunity to electricity, minor immunity to heat, but suffers from two severe weaknesses: Cold water causes the Ironglands to seize up and get heavier, causing the Ikana to move significantly slower. Additional use of the Fire can cause an Ikana to completely stiffen temporarily. The other weakness: Hot water causes the Ironglands to stop producing Ikarium cells and also makes the underskin completely useless, turning it into a gell-like material. Basic Water Burns the Ikana, causing the nerves to feel like their being hit with citric acid.
