Fall had reached the city and with that, the nights were starting to get darker sooner. Still not soon enough in Meteora's mind as she sat out on the bench sipping what anyone would judge her for if they knew was a Pumpkin Spice Latte. They could bite her for all she cared. It was fall. It was Halloween. It was heaven. Even if she was still dressed in something more like a black tie-gala event piece, Meteora couldn't complain too badly tonight. Since her power up, she could at least walk without fear of falling on her face. Nope. It was a good day so far.

It wasn't an uncommon thing for Eunkyung to let her feet lead her to wherever they pleased, it was a common enough occurance her cousin made sure she took her phone when she went out in case she got lost. That way she'd have gps, because she still got lost in this city at times.
Tonight she wasn't in her civilian attire but rather that of a senshi. The long skirt enough to make running impossible, as she was more likely to trip somehow, and slippers that would have most wondering how comfortable her feet her and about rocks. She could tell you that stepping on rocks hurt - a lot and that the slippers weren't the most comfortable of things...but they could be worse.
Her slippered feet brought her around a different part of the city tonight, even as she shivered a bit. The fact most of her was covered didn't matter since the fabric was rather thin about her arms and her midsection was bare and left her feeling the effects of early fall. It wasn't time to wear such an outfit...and yet it was what she'd been given...so she dealt with it. Winter would be time to put a coat on over it or not go out powered up. She wasn't sure which she'd do yet. Maybe if Athene, or family, wen tout she'd go out but otherwise stay in? Or at least not power up.
She was heavily considering it even as she shivered again. Shaking her head the pigtailed senshi smiled to herself, hugging herself gently. She wasn't upset with her outfit or being chilly at all, she was in a rather good mood honestly...despite the chaos this city, and she, had seen in the last month or so.

The sensation of another caused Meteora's eye to open mid sip. That wasn't an aura to be concerned about but still it was something she was curious about. Swallowing, she rose and turned in the direction that she felt whoever it was might be coming from. "Hello?" The woman called out, poking her head around to see who had managed to sneak up on her. "Someone there?"

Hearing a voice, right as she felt them, the senshi had stopped in her tracks for a moment. It was a knight...they felt like her family members, so she was safe, and that had her feeling safe enough to walk towards the strangers voice. "I'm here." Her voice was soft, low, but carried well enough in the stillness of the night.
"I'm just wandering..." She called out as she drew closer, close enough to see someone. Oh...how pretty. "Oh!" Moving closer, just a bit quicker, she hurried her best while keeping her feet from catching on the long skirt she wore. "What sort of knight are you? I've never seen..." Her cousins were a Ganymede squire and a Polaris Page respectively while her cousin in law served Saturn. So which one was this? The colors were iridescent and pretty - shimmery.

Coming around the corner, Meteora felt a smile grown on her face seeing the young woman in purple. She was just about to flag her down when she realized the girl was coming straight at her.
For a second she winced but then released when the question came out. Smiling, she pushed back her hood and greeted the woman with a half courtesy. "I am a Squire of Cosmos. Thus I think the stars and rainbow come from that." Humoring the excitement, Meteora gave a small spin so she could see everything.
"I'm Meteora. And you are?"

Returning the courtesy with a bow of her own, she was more inclined to bowing than curtsying, it was a cultural thing, she straightened herself before speaking. "I see...I didn't know there were knights of the Cosmos...I live with three knights..it's a wonder I didn't know." Shrugging just a bit, though she was curious now.
"That would make sense, the stars at least. It's lovely." She was happy with the spin from the other, and getting to see the full uniform she wore. It was lovely - very pretty. But how could she fight in that? She couldn't fight in her own skirt, not really, it was a bit of an issue but she didn't do much fighting so perhaps she was lucky.
"Hamal...senshi of talismans...It's a pleasure. Are you out patrolling tonight?" Though it seemed the other had a drink with them...and it did smell rather warm and inviting...what was that smell?

Well that was an interesting household. Three knights and a senshi? Made her and Kai's look tame. They just had the cats after all. Still, it was odd to Met that someone with so many powered in the house would never have heard of a Cosmos knight.
"A pleasure Hamal. I am sort of on patrol." Meteora admitted as she gave a half shrug. "I powered up but I have not been actively searching out agents to keep out of out of trouble. Honestly I was enjoying my latte and felt a but guilty for not having powered up in a long time so I did so."
"Yourself?"

"Wandering...and powered...so if something had come up." She would have handled it, to the best of her ability anyway, but she was out wandering more than anything. "Ohh...is that what I smell? The latte?" She questioned curiously.
"I don't know that smell..." She answered softly, wanting to explain. "What is it? It smells warm...and...something." Moving close to the other, almost to the others side.
"Would you mind terribly if we patrolled together? After the last month or so it seems this city is a bit of a mess..." And it was a bit scary to be honest. A theater and a clinic - it was a lot....too much. Was anything or anyplace safe?

"I would be careful doing that. Wandering around powered could be asking for trouble if you aren't paying attention." Met offered, a look of concern on her face as she moved her attention back to her cup. Her mother hen was starting to show. Thanks again Kai.
"Oh this?" Opening the lid, Met offered it to her. "You are welcome to try some. It's a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Only comes out this time of year and I'll be honest, too addicting for its own good."
"But I would be happy for the company. It gets boring going alone sometimes." Most the time. "As for the city, I hate to say it but it is always a bit of a mess. Part of the charm I guess."

"I've had that happen before...." But she had been ok and she could always call family, if need be. Though it would result in being mother henned by Seung-hyung. "I've never had one...I've heard of them, last autumn. But it's new to me." Sniffing a bit before she tentatively took a sip. "it's good...different but good." She wasn't used to the flavors but they were good, warming in a way, just like it smelled warm.
"I'm used to walking around on my own at night. I've done it since for along time. But it's not so safe here and I still get lost at times. It was worse when I just moved here." Though Seung-hyung was worse. He had more issues than she did with reading the street signs and finding places. But they'd both had their fair share of issues with finding their way about the city.
Offering the lidless cup back to the other, not wanting to finish the knights drink on her. It wouldn't be polite if she did, though it was good...addicting as the other said.

Pulling the cup back and putting the lid on, Met took another long sip for herself. "It's good on a cold night too. Or raining in a cafe in fall. Not like Hot Chocolate by a fire though. Nothing replaces that."
"But where are you from? I detect and accent and the idea of getting lost around here makes me think you have not been in the city long." Met raised a brow. "You or your family of knights maybe?"

"I've never had hot chocolate by a fire...we lived in an apartment and had no fireplace and we didn't go camping." She lived in a big city and camping wasn't done, no time for it. But she did like hot chocolate. "It sounds as good as boba tea on a hot summer day...or a hot night. Just the opposite situation." Smiling a bit more at this.
"No, I'm not from here neither is my family. I came with my aunt, uncle and elder cousin. We moved here from Seoul. Another cousin of mine moved here not long ago...but it's only been a few years ago. My uncle got a higher position in his job offered to him - but he had to move here." Because she knew she hadn't really wanted to leave nor had Seung-hyung. To leave their friends and everything they knew and were comfortable with. It had been hard, and still was at times.
"Seung-hyung is a squire of Ganymede...and Hyeon-hying is a page of Polaris. Venice and Gyeongju. Seung-Hyung is married to a knight of Saturn, he's transcended too." So even outside of her own blood related family she had knights in her family. "His brother is also a knight too..." So she had a lot of knights around her, a lot of family.
"We've been here three years...but there is still a lot that we haven't seen and places we haven't been to..."

"Now I have to ask. What is boba tea?" Met looked at the woman as if she was speaking a foreign language with the name of such a drink. The image of Bobo Fett from Star Wars came to mind but you drinking drink THAT.
But she stopped only when the woman began listening names off. At first it had taken her off guard how many knights were in this family. "Now I have to wonder how a senshi came out that blood line." It was said in a joke that was only cut off when she heard one name.
"Wait, did you say Venice? Seung?" The name jogged a memory from LONG ago. A memory of two young men joining them for a meeting when Meteora was still very new to this business. "Would his husband happen to be named Terry?"

"Boba tea...umm bubble tea. That's what I've seen it called here by people who seem new to it. It had the tapioca pearls in the bottom. It's really good especially when it's hot out." Had the other ever had it? Now that she used it's other, more known, name. She knew a lot of places that had it and had seen normal people drinking it, even on campus once or twice.
"I don't know how I came to be with two cousins who are nights...i can only guess it's on my fathers side. My mother was the sister to Seung-hyung's father and Hyeon-hying's father. They share the same last name - Kim. My last name is Lee." Which was said as Gim and Ee rather than how they were spelled and most would pronounce them.
"You know my hyung?" It seemed like it anyway, the other knight knew her cousins name and who he was. "Yes, Terry-hyung...he and my cousin adopted twins this year. But you know them both?"

Met wasn't going to even try the last names. The first were hard enough and she had heard them before. Seung had taken time and she still felt as if she was murdering it everytime she said it.
"Did they now? That's wonderful news. My husband will be thrilled to hear they are doing well. Please, tell them Kairatos and I say hello. It has been too long. I knew them both some time ago before they had become full knights. Venice was still a page I believe at the time. "
That drew a smile to her face as they walked. "So, may I ask where one finds this bo..bubble tea? I haven't even heard of it before now."
