You can post any combination of edited, CC edits, and unedited pairs as long as the number of pairs where you either indicate as edited or CC for edits does not exceed 3. As always, you can only ask for edits (edited/CC) if one or both of the kin involved is edited. Submitting a pair with edited parents for an unedited breeding will not contribute to the three edited pair limit.
REMINDER:
While unedited pairings may end up with some minor edited throwbacks as a colorist's choice, users cannot ask for edited breedings unless one or both of the kin involved is edited.
If you currently have a pairing in the CC thread where neither parent is edited, and you're asking for an edited breeding, we kindly request that you either remove the pairing or switch to asking for an unedited breeding.

This thread will be open for the month, by the end of which at least one couple will be chosen for a breeding.
Each person can only post up to five pairings, and we kindly request that you keep them all in one post.
This does not include pairings other people post that include you.
There is no breeding cooldown other than the requirement that each kin only have one breeding in progress/uncerted at any given time. Once a kin's offspring are certed and adults, they will be eligible to breed again.
There is nothing that stops a colorist from CCing whichever pairs they're interested in; you can still get CCed even if you were rolled or picked the previous month.
Every month we will roll at least one random pairing, in addition to whatever CC slots get picked up during the month. Rolled breedings are CC as to growing/edits.
Pairings involving an individual who was rolled the previous month or CCed the current month are not eligible to be rolled. For example, if person X was rolled last month and person Y had a pairing picked this month, all your pairs with person X and person Y will be left off the rolling list.
Additional disqualifications take place when forms have been changed or filled out incorrectly and if any rules have not been followed.
Our breeding rules have always included additional stipulations regarding incestuous pairs (siblings, half-siblings, parent/child, grandparent/grandchild, aunt or uncle/nephew or niece, first cousins, and other pairings that have similar familial relations). In addition to those breeding restrictions, colorists also reserve the right to reject an incest pairing if it is rolled, though winners will be allowed to substitute in a new pair with the same owners.
Additionally, in order to clarify what pairings will and will not be accepted in Matope, please refer to our shop RP guidelines and standards, quoted here:
"Rape plots are never acceptable in Matope... We also mean plots in which the breeding is technically consensual but unwanted ("mushroom" plots) or would otherwise be rejected. This is glorified date rape and we will not make exceptions for it."

This topic is meant for is colorist choice breedings.
In other words, pairings posted in here are open for any breeding colorist to nab and complete.
Whichever colorist first claims the breeding will be the one to do it.
All breedings will be done for free.
Since CC picks are the responsibility of the choosing colorist and not guaranteed by the shop (unlike CC rolls or event wins), if a colorist becomes inactive before completing their CC picks, we can't and won't enforce colorist's CC picks. We also will not retroactively award a CC pick to the affected users nor will we award additional raffle entries in future CC rolls.
