In all their years together, Stibnite had thought she had seen nearly all the sides of her husband. Anger and joy. Sorrow and happiness. They had been through more together than most couples at this stage in their relationship. Yet in this moment, as she watched his back straighten and his entire form go far stiffer than any board she had ever seen, Stibnite knew something was different. Something was...gravely wrong.

Red eyes flickered down towards the pair of bodies at their feed and she couldn’t understand why she had a feeling they looked familiar. Something about this pair seemed as if she should know them. Not from this life but their other which meant they should not have been part of this.

They took starseeds so many times, never of the ‘innocent’ unless there was no other option. In life or death, they would do what they needed to for the greater good of all mankind. This though was meaningless killing. But why did it cause her husband so much pain.

Upon hearing her name, Stibnite’s face shot back to gaze at man now leaning over the cold forms. Without a word, she nodded, grabbed the young idiots by the arms so hard that she could hear both of them mouth some sort of angry protest and teleported them all back to the barracks. She wouldn’t ask for anything else until Leucite was ready. For now she did her part. He wanted these two locked away, well they were going to be locked away in the depths of hell if it made him suffer.

“Hey! What gives?” The words came from Wardite as they appeared just inside Leucite’s office. Stibnite did not respond as she tightened her grip on each of them and nearly dragged the pair out and down the hall. Several times she could feel them lose their footing. Each time she would yank them once more back to their feet. Size didn’t matter. She was stronger.

“I don’t know what you two did just now but you better just suck it up and do as he says.” Her words were not as cold as they could have been but nearly a warning. If they did not listen, there would be no saving them. She would not protect them.

Kicking open a door, Stibnite jerked Wardite into one of the smaller rooms near Leucite’s office. Piypite she continued to drag down the hallway and into areas of the barracks she knew they hadn’t been. Their problem for avoiding it. It would cause her little charge a good deal of time to find her way out of it should they manage to get free.

Once she had managed to get them both locked away, Stibnite felt herself find the cold of the wall. The stone was a small comfort for what she was about to have to face. That man was physically her husband. Mentally…

“God save us all.” the Captain muttered as she turned, yanking her hood back over her face and headed towards her General’s office. If she couldn’t stop him, no one could.

Not even the Queen herself.
