A fantastic arena designed for ninja to spar and combat each other in a safe area. The arena is huge and is constantly reconstructed so that all combatants have a fresh environment. Medical staff is constantly around to heal those after a fight to the point that they can heal someone from the brink of death. Although some injuries may need further treatment at the hospital. There are five arenas total present. In the arena, all combat and spar missions are considered as wins despite who wins and who loses. You also can determined in the arena if you rather consider the fight a spar or a combat ordeal. Finally, you gain double the ac from combat battles engaged in this area.
In addition, spectators of fights are able to take bets on who is fighting, and whether or not they will win. If the spectators win then the ryo they bet becomes doubled. If they lose, then they lose the ryo from the bet. The maximum ryo you can bet is determined by your body rank. An E-ranked ninja can bet 50 ryo, D-ranked can bet 100 ryo, C-ranked can bet 200, B-ranked can bet 400, A-ranked can bet 800, S-ranked ninja can bet 1,600, and S+ ranked can bet 3,200.

It was finally the day! With the construction of the new stadium, the organizers had seen fit to organize an opening tournament to decide who their champion was. It was a bracket fight with Three Rounds of combatants and one Final Battle Royale at the end. The first round was easy, Karuto took out this monk from the Land of the Wind with an explosive punch from his fists. He tried to limit his style usage until the finale- all the better to hide his true potential. The second round was equally lacking in difficulty. He let loose a string of attacks from the Western Bursting Fists into one continuous stream of fire. He also doubled the power of his attacks. His opponent was quickly overwhelmed, despite being a master of the Iwagakure style. His final opponent...well there was a tough one. He was forced to expend techniques from the Sound's Mirror Image style. He pounded the man with a limitless number of afterimage and yet still he persisted. It was a strong attack, yet not enough. He surrounded him with these same clones who attacked- still the man refused to yield. It took the usage of one of his most powerful attacks, Sodate Rakka, to end the fight. As he connected the final knee strike he knew it was over. The battle left him exhausted and wounded yet, strangely, happy. It was nice to know there were those out there who could still challenge him
Western Bursting Fists Konohagakure no Taijutsu Kyouzou Stage 6 Mastered
The Battle Royale was not what he thought it would be. Apparently, Karuto had dominated his opponents to such a degree that instead of the final being a 50 man free for all it was 50 men versus him. He stood in the center of the ring, letting his eyes wander over the faces of the 50 trained martial artists who stood before him and the belt (for there WAS a belt, he had checked). He cracked the bones in his wrists and grinned- this was gonna be fun. As the bell rang, Karuto strode forward into the pack of warriors. As he walked, he exuded Chakra around him. Those who looked at him would see only the majestic sight of his gi, outlined in heroic shining light. The battle was long and arduous, he had to use the Kaiser Armor TWICE...but he won.
Standing atop the mound of broken men he had created, Karuto raised the belt high above his head. 'Presenting the Champion of Uzushiogakure...KARUTO RAIKEN!
Chie entered the arena and took in her surroundings. This was her first time in this location. It was certainly a much larger size than she anticipated. She moved to the center arena where the crowds were. When the crowds went wild, the young woman allowed herself to blend into the crowd as she noticed the man whose bulk rivaled a rhino standing front and center. Apparently Karuto won some sort of challenge. When the cheers lowered in volume the ring leader continued his speech. "With two hundred of the finest men bested by the invincible Karuto Raiken, what else can be thrown at him? What can dare challenge the strength of the MIGHTY RAIKEN!"
The crowds went wild chanting, "MIGHTY RAIKEN."
"I do!" Chie said excitedly with a raised hand. Immediately the crowd went silent as they all turned to the girl. Laughter erupted from the audience as Chie stepped forward. "I challenge him." As murmuring broke into the crowd the young woman took a moment to write something on a piece of paper. She then stuck the piece of paper into her pocket as the referee asked who she was. "Well, I was the academy teacher about an hour ago. But, now I'm the Uzukage. Funny how things work like that."
The crowd broke into chaos. The Uzukage mantle has been shifted? Where was the ceremony, the parade?! Surely this woman lied. And yet, as she said it four vortex operatives appeared around Chie. One held in its hands the official Uzukage headpiece with the village's logo inscribed on the cap. Chie took the piece and placed it on her head. This caused the crowd to break further into side chats and gasps. "So how about it? Does the mighty Karuto Raiken accepts a challenge from the new Uzukage? Or at least a shadow clone of her, since after all I am kind of locked in an office now." Despite being a clone of Chie, she did manage to restore a great deal of her chakra. She was ready to engage with this person if he so willed. Honestly, however, the fight was not truly important to her. The reason why Chie arrived at the arena was because, thanks to Karuto's crowd pleasing antics, he managed to bring a great deal of the village to one location. This in term provided her with the best position to expose herself as the new village leader. It certainly would help get the word out there. So yeah, the fight now was more of an afterthought. It was the publicity she needed from this ordeal.

He had to admit...he f*cking loved the sound of applause. The Raiken decided to live it up a bit, posing and generally playing to the crowd good-naturedly. He expected to be challenged rather quickly- Masato could only go so long without hearing of this. What he was NOT expecting was little ol' Chie "I can't go a day without giving homework" Saegahara to show up and, not only challenge him but admit she had become to cod-sarned Uzukage! When she withdrew and donned the headpiece Karuto's jaw fell open at the sight.
'Oh well now I just have to'
He recovered his look of shock pretty quickly and smiled sadly. Placing his hands on his hips, he rose up to his full height of nearly eight feet tall "And here I thought I would get that job after beating Old Lady San one day hehe..." Letting out a deep sigh, Karuto looked to his feet and crushed a rock beneath his toe. Quickly, and without warning, his melancholy dissipated and his head shot back up, and he was grinning ear to ear "Oh well!" He called out, now happy at the thought of a new challenge to overcome "Of course I'll take your challenge Lil' Mama Whirlpool. Just disappointed it's not the original- then again, it sure would be unfortunate to see the Uzukage ger her butt smacked on day one of her new job" Karuto settled back into a traditional Konoha Fighting Stance. Chie, as a lifelong Konoha shinobi, would recognize what he was doing.
He was giving her the highest of honors from a Taijutsu practitioner. Meeting her in the traditional Konoha stance- showing that he considered her a worthy opponent and a skilled adversary. 'She's probably gonna use some long range ninjutsu. I should keep my dis- oh my god I just referenced smacking my new boss' butt' He thought, turning bright red in embarrassment.
Well, if this was his swan song, it was sure to be an interesting one.
The crowd went wild when Karuto accepted the challenge. Chie returned her hat to her vortex operative as the four disbursed to remain within the shadows. Chie then took herself to the main arena. A wide smirk crossed her face as the man's body leaned in the way that the famous konoha ninjas of before prepared. "It would be a shame if you managed to dethrone me on day one. Then again, I suppose the same thing could be said of you, oh Mighty Raiken." She mocked. She actually did not mind the smack talk Karuto provided. It did not cross her mind yet that she had to play her responsibility in a way which did not allow back talk. However, she was aware that she could not go easy in this fight.
Karuto was a taijutsu master. That much was obvious by his physique. If he manages to lay one blow on her then her clone would pop and she would lose the match. She had to keep him ranged. But he had to know that was going to be her play. If that's the case, then he's probably going to use a concoction of speed techniques in order to bridge the gap between them. It was for that reason that Chie first positioned herself as far away from her opponent as the ring allowed. Her hand raised and a shadow clone appeared by her side. Chakra flowed through her feet which caused mist to steam from the ground. "I'm ready when you are." Chie said with a smile. Both of them bent their knees and had their elbows bent. They both faced toward Karuto as they readied for the oncoming fight.

Karuto watched Chie back peddle away from him, grinning at the attempt. "Now don't go easy on me...I wouldn't want to feel Chie-ted" Laughs arose at the sound of his pun, and from it, he felt a significant rush of power...as if the words themselves strengthened him for some reason. Without missing a beat he charged. Of course, this was exactly what she expected of him, but it's not like he was gonna start throwing super high force punches in a crowded environment! He wasn't a maniac. Once he was 20 feet away from Chie's last known position, he leaped into the air. If his aim was correct, he would deliver a wicked whirlwind kick in between the two clones, hopefully hitting both of them with a 360 degree kick.

Chie's clone moved in front of Chie and firmly planted herself. She made herself one with earth so that, when the whirlwind came at her, that she would be the sole defense necessary. Both arms rose as her body turned so that her raised arms would block the momentum of the kick. The strength of the kick was tremendous, and it took virtually everything out of the clone to block it. Now that she did, however, the true Chie could move. Her right hand opened her palm as her left hand moved to her chest and she performed a single seal. A beam of lightning expanded from her palm as it aimed to easily consume the giant of a man. It was not a powerful bolt, but it should be powerful enough to constrict his muscles in paralysis should it hit. At the very least being shot in the air should knock him back a bit. As she anticipated Karuto wanted to close the distance between himself and the two clones. The weakness of him, however, is that while Karuto didn't want to fire a ninjutsu for fear of it hitting a target accidentally, by the giant man being airborne Chie's lighting beam would be aimed upward, and thus be with no threat of colliding with a spectator. Like her opponent, however, Chie began with overall low power. There was no glory in making this a life or death fight, after all.

Karuto's leg bounced off of the earthen-clad forearms of Chie's clone, causing the Raiken to sail backward through the air slightly as he both recoiled and pushed away from the block. Time moved in slow motion for him in these close quarter fights. He was so used to it. Battle was second nature. He could see the real, out of the corner of his eye, release some kind of ninjutsu at him. He didn't think; there was no time. Lightning surrounded his fist as he twisted his torso around- using the momentum to turn in mid-air. He met the lightning bolt with a vicious backhand while he was still in the air. The bolt was redirected from the chakra-laden blow into the air below. As Karuto fell to the ground with it.
Finally on his feet again, Karuto kept low in a crouched position when he hit the ground. Thankfully, he landed well within striking distance of the Clone of the Clone "Gotcha!" At this, Karuto unleashed a devastating barrage of punches. The Raiken, already being much faster than the Kage, really seemed to turn it up to 11. He unleashed a half dozen jabs on various parts of the woman's body with such rapid succession that it would feel like a rain of fists to her- doing so quicker than most could throw one punch. While the blows were pretty weak, he did this more to prove a point- what he could have done.

Chie's first clone lowered her hand as she readied herself for a combat stance. This is what she was waiting for. While she couldn't have her other clone dodge the attack, she knew another way to solve this issue. The moment the first hit collided the Chie in front of her disbursed into a puff of smoke, and re-appeared as the Chie with the cloak of mist around her feet. The two clones switched places through the use of the substitution technique, and Karuto's fist would find himself colliding with Chie's own. Then, as Karuto performed each of his punches, they would be matched with Chie's fist so that the two forces counter forced each other. Although both Chie's needed to move fast, as they only had one shot to pull this off
Now that Chie had him, it was time for phase two. You see, Chie knew as a from the start of the fight that Karuto was going to move in close to distance. He also figured that he would use his overwhelming physical presence to make a scenario where Chie could not dodge. However, she also figured that he would underestimate her power and speed and well. He would no doubt ignore the fact that, several minutes into the fight, that Chie boosted her speed for the sole purpose of getting into this moment where their fist were locked. That way, just like there was no chance of Chie avoiding this moment, there was also no chance of Karuto avoiding it either. With their post locked, the clone now behind the original activated the shadow clone explosion technique. An incantation circle appeared on her hand as one appeared by the fist which colliding with Karuto on the fourth punch. The two synced and their explosion would erupt at point blank. It was both of the clone's hopes that they would catch Karuto and, at point blank range, be able to subdue him with one kamikaze attack. Of course, even if they won there was no way to claim the win for it.

F*ck Clones, F*ck Ninjutsu but most importantly, and he could not stress this enough F*CK CLONES! Here he was throwing down at this woman had the gall to go full Kamikaze on him. I mean, he wasn't stupid. He figured this was going to happen. Shadow clones only had so much skill at close range combat. When they get outclassed? Well...there's only one real play left. Still, he had been hoping to push it into a corner and jump out of the way once the woman pulled the pin on her metaphorical grenade. What he hadn't expected was to be trapped between a rock and a really-painful-explosion-place. So, yeah, dodging was out of the question.
As they clones switched Karuto kept on punching. He was enjoying himself after all. It was when the jutsu was cast and the trigger appeared on his primary opponent that he knew he was in trouble. He managed to crack smirk 'Clever girl', just as the explosion went off in his face. Onlookers would be stunned- shocked silent. The fight had barely been 15 seconds long when it appeared that the person claiming to be the Uzukage had blown herself up just when Karuto was raining hell down upon her. Smoke permeated the ring, dense and billowy. After a few tense seconds the form of Karuto appeared- still standing! His arms were crossed over his body which was slightly hunched. The Raiken had managed to throw up a block at the last second- using a technique he had learned long ago to increase the mitigation of the damage he took. Karuto tensed his considerable muscles which produced an effect similar to stone. While his forearms and back were well singed he was otherwise a-ok!
After a few seconds for dramatic flair, Karuto once again raised his hands into the air and let the crowd cheer his name once more.
The Champion remained.

Koutetsu was walking past the new arena when he saw the Banner announcing the first champion of the arena. Karuto-Sensei? Should've known he would be on top. Congrats.
As he was about to walk away, a gentleman ran up to him. "Are you busy? I've got flyers that need to be handed out for a fight and my assistant is sick. Can you hand them out for me? I'll pay you!" Koutetsu took the offered flyers, "Sure. I've got some time. I'll take care of it."
The promoter ran off and Koutetsu read the flyers. Hana vs Denbou. I wonder how strong they are. Hopefully, I'll get to watch. I better hand them out quickly though.
Koutetsu shouted loudly, "Hana vs Denbou! Pick up your flyer here, 10% off ticket with flyer! Who will win, The Beauty or The Beast? This is one spar you don't want to miss folks! Remember: 10% off ticket with a flyer!"
As he was handing out the last of the flyers, he over heard someone proclaiming. "That cowardly b*tch couldn't beat me even if she were the Kage." the boy, about sixteen, said clearly angry. He approached with the promoter in tow, ripped a flyer from Koutetsu's hand. "A f*cking spar!? I can't believe this. You know I don't do spars." He shouted at the promoter as he ignored the brief indignant look that crossed Koutetsu's face and headed into the arena. I guess that's Denbou. How crass."Don't worry, Denbou. Its just an academy student. Picked her for an easy win for you. Just rough her up a little, call it a day, and you'll be in the pro leagues." the promoter yelled back.
Koutetsu glared upon hearing of the set up, but reverted to a neutral face as he waved down the promoter."I'm finished." The promoter turned and quickly paid him. "Head in for the fight. you won't want to miss this." Koutetsu followed him, his interest now peaked. He took his seat and watched in anticipation as they started.
A young girl, about the age of ten, with brown hair pulled back in a ponytail entered the fighting area. A smattering of applause from the crowd, who were interested in seeing this newcomer. She stretched out while waiting for her opponent. Koutetsu considered her, She's an academy student, so I shouldn't underestimate her. She does seem a little nervous. From the other end of the Arena, Denbou entered to a roar from the crowd. Apparently he was a regular here. As they each settled into their stances, Koutetsu, could tell just how green Hana really was.
The spar was a bloodbath, entirely one-sided. Hana seemed to do well enough to draw a few cheers from the crowd, but Koutetsu could see that despite her best efforts, Denbou was playing with her. The moment she surprised him and landed a solid hit spelled her doom. Already angry and just playing for the crowd, Denbou unleashed that anger. Even as she tried to surrender, he covered her mouth and repeatedly hit her. Koutetsu could barely stand it. He watched the Ref look into the stands, only to follow the line of sight to the promoter. The promoter nodded to let the ref stop the fight. The medics rushed Hana off the field for emergency treatment but, by then, Koutetsu had already leaped down to the field from the stands.
"You see that? I'm the best! Ain't nobody stopping me! I'm coming for your pansy *ss, Raiken!" Denbou announced to thunderous applause from the crowd. It took a few seconds for the crowd to calm and whispering to begin as they noticed the new body in the ring. Koutetsu broke the famed stoic mask of the Kajibamaru clan, as he growled out, "For the disrespect you have shown to me and the Raiken, you earned yourself a beat down." Denbou seemed taken aback but recovered quickly, "You think you can beat me? I'll-" Koutetsu interrupted, "For fixing the fight and going too far, you have earned something else," here Koutetsu leveled a gaze hotter than the forge itself on Denbou, "Shitou."
Silence filled the arena as Koutetsu made his declaration. Neither a spar nor a good natured fight was issued by this statement. No, this was a true blood sport; A challenge of honor, a challenge to the death. Nervous laughter seemed to come from the stands before turning into an unending tidal wave of sound. "I accept."

Koutetsu nodded towards the ref, who glanced at Denbou, "Alright. Let the battle begin." Koutetsu remained silent as Denbou kept talking smack. "I'm going to break that smart *ss mouth of yours."
Forming his Rapier, Koutetsu prepped himself mentally for battle. Temper, Temper. Let your passion fuel your strikes, but do not let it consume you. Let it forge you. Hammer it home. Keep at him, don't give him a chance to react. Deliver justice without mercy. Become an unstoppable force. Be one with your weapon.
Denbou lunged forward and struck out with his left fist, but stopped short of his target to draw Koutetsu into the oncoming second punch from the right. Almost Contemptuously, Koutetsu brought the blunt edge of his blade up and knocked the arms to the side harshly. "Try again."
Denbou snarled and swung a leg out in a kick aimed to knock Koutetsu to the floor. As it made impact, Koutetsu simply glared at Denbou. Angered by Koutetsu's steel will, Denbou, shouted out, "Take this! My signature move: Houshou!" Denbou slammed a palm past Koutetsu's guard and directly into his chest.
Denbou took a hesitant step back, "What!? That technique should have sent you flying!" Indeed, Denbou's fame primarily rested in his use of the Houshou technique. Usually it would send someone flying back incredibly far. Unfortunately, and unknowingly, for the arrogant b*****d, he was facing Koutetsu: a skilled Genin trained by both The Raiken, champion of the arena, and the new Uzukage. Koutetsu knew how to take a hit and just as importantly how to deliver one. A swirling steam of blue and red chakra seemed to surround his blade as he rushed the stunned fighter. Thrusting forward, there was a loud explosion as smoke hid both fighters from view.
The smoke was quickly blown away with a gust of wind that entered the arena. when it cleared, Koutetsu could be seen walking away from a downed Denbou. The Ref moved in to examine the collapsed fighter, but flinched slightly when he noticed the wound. There, in his sternum, was a fist-sized, gaping hole going through Denbou's body. The medics came on field and quickly moved the corpse onto a stretcher and removed it from the field. Even as Koutetsu exited the arena, he could still hear the roar of the crowd.

Dual Elemental Charge Rank: A :: Training Description: An advanced version of the technique Elemental Charge. Instead of only being able to imbue their rapier and techniques with one element at a time, the use is now able to channel two Chakra natures in to their weapon. The user is able to charge and discharge their weapon at will, but adding a second element to it consumes 10 Chakra.

Somehow a piano now sat in the center of the arena, a woman seated at it playing a soft tune, one that would invoke feelings of emptiness and lonliness.
All around, the many combatants that previously wanted just to test their metal are now suspended in the air all around. Blood drips, red lines between all of their bodies arranged to hang as if they'd been put in their positions specifically. Lotus flowers litter the area as well.
Her voice echoes.

Three figures arrived: a large artificial pangolin, a dark and dreary pale doll, and a covertly artificial, masked Sadayo puppet. This was the first Sadayo has visited this location and knew little of its ins and outs. A main entrance was taken. The arena was generally, chillingly quiet for the most part but the jounin picked up traces of sound that appear to blend together as a dismal tune with a voice that warbles through the noise.
The pangolin crept just behind the Sadayo puppet who arose to take in the scene first with the somber YΕ«utsu beside her. No matter what seemed to stand in her way, the true Sadayo was repulsed by the sight of suspended figures and the presumed culprit sat like an unblemished witness in song about the display. The sight is one easily written off as being disturbing. What experience Sadayo had insisted that the pianist may as well be waiting for someone to come along any moment and therefore, not just any plain old tactic could do the job. As an arena, there sat a perk in its design for visitors to make use of in emergency situations. Usually, the hallways were all connected in some fashion and generally wrapped about within the interior of the building. This design feels like a perk for someone like Sadayo. However, the innate perk was just the leading thought as Sadayo counted the exits from her post in the shadows. Twelve initial exits to the inner hallways (in reference to the provided image at the top of the thread). Moreover, with some careful back-tracking, her hypothesis of the arena's layout may have some merit and errors to come would have be addressed as they come.
What was Sadayo's first move? What would be the pianist's first move, if there were any to behold? The real Sadayo moves YΕ«utsu away to wait in the next hallway over. Why dive in but why waste the opportunity? The arena appeared to widely be composed of whatever choice building material around them but the construction of the arena platform itself was a mystery. Is that sand around the platform? Well, truthful, Sadayo couldn't say what the space was exactly and chose to ride off the assumption the layout for the arena was currently semi-traditional. If she was wrong then she was wrong. Why was this a big deal?
A convincing stage can bring a play together.
However, the pieces Sadayo plotted out in her head were not ready to for play and she sent her artificial double out from the shadows and looking less inconspicuous than before. The puppet arms herself with a pair of knives from her bag and slides out just into view. Sadayo maneuvers her double to feign a scan around the room, as its head quietly turned, and slightly recoil at the sight of suspended bodies. A gasping noise escapes the puppet. Meanwhile, the real Sadayo waits for the results with a few notable techniques imparted to her double.

The music aburtly stopped as it's composer rose to greet her visitor. "Oh! My my, so it is you who shall be my dance partner?" A twisted laugh crawled from her lips as she pulled a massive butchers blade from seemingly nowhere but the air beside her. The piano beaide her disappeared into a flutter of white petals and from both it's seed and every other lotus in the arena, there grew a field of white flowers. Their vicious clawing up from the sandy ground left no doubt of their chakra created origins. "So my beautiful heroine! Would you like to know a secret?" The woman's dark lavender eyes flickered dangerously around the room as if proud of her work. "They aren't actually dead. Just suspended!" Covering her mouth to stifle another set of giggles, the woman brought her sword arm to slice just a tiny cut along the cheek of one of the hostages. Of course her orders were to not harm any, but that didn't mean she had to stop others from harming them. Espically if say.. a stray jutsu hit someone near by. In a mocking tone the woman continued. "Whatever shall the magnificent heroine do?! Don't wait too long though or things might start getting.. bloody."

But hidden among the flowers are roots, vines, and briars that will shoot up to entangle anyone who steps into the flowers, digging thorns into anything they grab. Only detectable via A-rank sensory or Doujutsu. When triggered [Grapples] the target. The target is rendered immobile unless spending an amount of chakra equal to the techniques rank to escape the grapple or alternative escape methods.
