Hello everybody! I'm posting this thread as a way to get some feedback about the guild. Last month was the one year anniversary of the Full Closet, so I figured it was time to see how the guild has done.

I'm looking for any type of feedback in this thread, but I would really love to know some specifics:
1. How is the organization of the forum and subforums? Too much? Too little?
2. Is there anything we or I can do to encourage participation in the threads? (I know the avatar builder is still having trouble with the image codes and that has slowed a lot of ghosting posts down.)
3. Is there any other content that members want to see? Live streaming events? Build videos or tutorials?

I always want to know if the graphics, signage, or appearance of the guild is in anyway intimidating or unwelcoming. I want this guild to be a place for all gaia users - new or seasoned - to gather and share.

All opinions, thoughts, and insight are welcome in this thread. I really want to hear back from as many members as I can so that we can improve everyone's experience within the guild.

I think the organization of the forums/subforums are quite straightforward, but honestly, I just usually use the Latest Posts links found on the Full Closet Guild home page. Simple, direct and up-to-date. cat_3nodding

That is true. The Latest Posts on the front page is becoming a tool that I find myself using more and more. I might make that part of the monthly reminder for everyone.

From my experience, I have found that Gaians can be chatty (points to himself) or shy, yet inquisitive -- so, perhaps posting a poll to determine the satisfaction of guild members might help with determining how the silent members cat_ninja feel about things. *shrugs shoulders* That's all I've got.

I often worry about over-saturation and poll fatigue. However, I have seen some positive uses of polls in the various galleries and threads in the Avatar Talk forums, so there is definitely some validity to using polls with builders. I will consider when and where to use polls in this guild to help get feedback and participation.

3. Is there any other content that members want to see? Live streaming events? Build videos or tutorials?

Myself, I love the idea of having build videos/tutorials at my fingertips. Gleaning new information from an experienced Gaian is totally welcome -- and fun to consider. Here's an enthusiastic ☑ yes! from VSC.

I will look into the technology necessary to facilitate creating videos for building. Hopefully, if I can find an easy to use tool for capturing my desktop - one that doesn't threaten the integrity of the graphics card on my computer - I can make a thread inside of resources for people to use. I will probably use polls (again, somewhat sparingly) to find out what type of content people are looking for.

I find the graphics and signage welcoming and elegant, if not a tad feminine. Initially, I wondered if my male avatar would fit in -- but there has been no worry for feeling excluded. inu_spike89~ you have been so very welcoming! I enjoy making Full Closet my preferred guild to go to.

Over-femininity in the signage was one of my greatest concerns when looking at the graphics. I want to make sure that no one worries about if they will fit in or be accepted based on the outward appearance of the guild. While I really don't want to remake the signage, do you feel adding an avatar showcase to the front page would help visitors gain a better idea of the guild's purpose and openness?

Thanks again for the feedback! I'm going to keep brainstorming that showcase for the front page. I think themed build contests would work to drum up interest. I want to be able to change out the showcase every month, but I want to make sure everyone has the time and chance to participate. Hmmmmm...

I don't really know if we would still be considered new - the guild was built in July 2017. Would they still promote that??

Hey, as a sorta feedback/response to the Guild Announcement Ms_Midnight_Killer did, I think a weekly themed contest would be great! I think that would be perfect for a guild like this

wanting a discord group idea has been floating around so we all can chit chat easily and let people know of events and such as announcements may not reach everyone
