[PRP] Night night (Orisa x Abitep)

2. Just a nice, normal day! At least until it's suddenly not day anymore. It's as dark as night out here!

Abitep left his spot by the watering hole early in the morning, he had never once lived in fear of an alligator taking him down and he never would. The beasts of the water best know better than to try to take him on. He yawned widely and leaned down to take a drink of water before he headed out into the rogue lands to find food and whatever else he wanted. There was nothing alive or dead he feared or would let stand in the way of what he wanted. Abitep was a brash and demanding hyena when it came to what he wanted.

She was so tired. A vision had come and collapsed her world once again to a shaking mass, leaving the hyena weak and vulnerable. Orisa hated coming out of her den when she knew she was this wobbly on her paws, but the hyena needed some fluid in her. There's no telling how long her convulsions lasted this time. For all Orisa knew it was two days later. There was no way to prove anyway else.

The wobbly hyena wasn't going to make it to the watering hole, however, as she tripped over a fallen long and was once again down. While not injured, it would take her a moment to pick herself back up. She could feel bile rising in her throat.

"Gods help me," she muttered to herself, voice hoarse and harsh sounding. Get me to this watering hole and let me drink. You've plagued me enough..."

Abitep was not far from the watering hole when he came across a female muttering to herself, he cocked his eyebrow "Do for yourself the gods will not stop to get you to the watering hole." He laughed at her the sound cruel and high pitched as only a hyena could do. The foolishness of waiting for the gods to help any of them was more then Abitep could keep to himself the gods did not care for mortals unless it suited them. He looked over the weak female wondering how she was still alive and why she was so weak in the first place. Hyenas were made of tougher stuff than this.

"Do yourself a favor and go take a really long walk," she panted out at the male voice that mocked her so cruelly, "off of a short cliff."

Orisa did not ask for an opinion, nor did she want an encounter with a male who's first words put her off so hard, she just wanted to go back to her den. Stubbornly though, the hynea got to her paws and her blue-brown eyes glared at this scaly looking male.

"Just keep on walking."

Abitep snorted as if he would follow the orders of such a weak female "As if you could do anything to make me do anything, you look as if a stiff breeze will blow you over." He followed her even though he already knew she wanted him to go as far away from her as he possibly could, if not drop dead on the spot. "You look as though you are more likely to fall off a cliff you look so tired." He cocked his eyebrow "Don't you eat? Is that why you are so weak, are you a failure as a hunter?" Hyenas were capable of hunting or scavenging.

Her brow twitched as she was being followed. No, Orisa wasn't going to respond. She made her way to the small watering hole that was more of a mud hole than she wanted it to be, but drank anyway, uncaring.

It was the most refreshing water she'd drank.

Then again, she said that about all the water she drank after one of her attacks. Hunger was on her mind, but she wouldn't be able to hunt anything big. Maybe there'd be something near to scavenge. She'd really have to wait till this jerk wasn't tailing her.

"I'm not a failure as a hunter. It's not your business."

Abitep snorted and laughed at her as he trailed her to the watering hole then the morning light was taken suddenly. Which was definitely not normal. "See, I told you the gods were no help." He chuckled in his high pitched hyena laugh. He was sure that the gods were laughing at all the mortals. As more and more strange things happened in the rogue lands. Perhaps the gods were trying to wipe the slate clean and kill them all. He was not going down without a fight the gods would have to come down themselves and take him out if they wanted him gone since clearly this slip of a hyena would not be able to do the job.

"Leave me," and then her vision was taken quite suddenly.

No, no, no. Was she about to have another fit? She quickly looked around, a desperate growl escaping as panic crawled from her stomach and into her throat.

None of the other symptoms were happening, however, and she just crouched low, tried to hide herself within the tall grasses surrounding the watering hole she'd been drinking at moments before. This male, this crazed, laughing male was making Orisa's life so much more difficult in the short time she'd, unfortunately, come across him.

"Just leave."

Abitep would leave he had mocked the female enough for one day and perhaps they would meet again someday and he would mock her then or she would be dead and it would not matter. Once a creature was dead they were food or bones, either way, they were useful in that sense as something for another creature to eat. "As you wish." He chuckled before disappearing into the darkness. This was a strange world they lived in and he had things to do and places to go. Even though he had no destination in mind. Abitep went where ever he felt like going at the time as he always did and always would, certainly no female would effect what he did with his life.

With the idiot gone, Orisa could concentrate on the sky.

Why was it dark now? Her heart was pounding. Surely he would have attacked her if she would have told her reason for appearing the way she did. Was this night sky her form of protection from the gods?

It seemed to drive him away along with her growling. It was like it was the extra shove she needed. Swallowing thickly, the hyena was once more wandering toward her den again. Oh, this was a bad, bad omen.
