Personality: Panna is a fun loving Fishman that refuses to let his spirits dwindle. He drinks, fights, jokes and laughs just for the fun of it all. He has a contagious laugh, in his opinion, and can't seem to help himself from laughing as much as possible. One of the reasons why he has the name Smiling Shark. Another is because he smiles no matter what emotion he feels or situation he's in. He's know to go into a frenzy if his needs aren't met, but he can bring himself back if he really tries. He loves his comrades and shows no remorse for those on his S***list.

Biography:Bored with how things were going on Fishman Island Panna wanted more. He wanted to seek out laughs and fun and brawls. Maybe even women. He wanted a story to tell that would make him smile all the way until his death day. He heard that there was a thing called the Marines. They traveled to distant lands getting themselves in to all types of mischief rather in be intentional or not. That's what he wanted. People, places and things that made him smile. That sated his need for more. Without a second thought, he rushed to sign up for the Marines. Sure there was a system that he wasn't all too found of such as superiors and all that, but him training in Fishman Karate conditioned him to get over it. Without a doubt in his mind he signed up for the Marines as a grunt ready to take on any challenge thrown at him.
