Taking to the rooftops above was not Captain Angelite's normal practice when it came time to hunting for her quota but with the sudden influx of interfering do-gooders roaming around the city, she was having to make do with... adjustments.
Stealing energy wasn't as easy as it used to be, not when there always seemed to be some brat just around the corner, fully ready and waiting to spring on her and make her lose her hard earned energy. She was having to double check - and sometimes triple check - areas to ensure there were no other auras in the vicinity before she quickly stole what energy she could before hopping onward to the next victim.
If she had it her way, all of these teenagers would be at home in bed or studying for the upcoming school year.
Unfortunately for her, things rarely went the way Angelite wanted them to go.

Typically speaking, Noah hated meeting up with Paul separately when they were doing this whole magic nonsense bullshit. If he could have his way, they'd never speak of it again, but s**t kept happening and that meant they'd been forced to accept this whole 'page' business.
But Noah had a late night at the office and they'd decided that meeting closer to the office than home was better for this bullshit if they weren't already going to be together. They were supposed to meet someone that Itaki had arranged for them or something.
Even with his meticulous nature, Noah hadn't kept up on keeping that side of things neat and orderly.
Probably because he would've preferred it didn't exist.
When he'd reached the area near their designated meeting spot, Noah had found somewhere 'secure' to power up, so that while he was waiting he could maybe sense his powered up husband. Maybe. The whole aura thing didn't make a lick of sense to him at all and he felt like more often than not he was going in it blind. More magic bullshit as far as he was concerned.
"Hurry up Sod."

Eyes peered over the ledge of the building as she scanned the block for any sign of life. There were vagrants here and there in the alleyways, along with several cats (of the non-star variety, thankfully) but there was nothing that ---
Oh.
An irritating twinge in the back of her head had her lip curling up briefly as blue eyes glanced around until she found the source of the irritation. A familiar looking ginger was standing there by his lonesome, looking like a trussed up present for the taking. No giant galoot in sight to defend him - a starseed ripe for the taking.
In a blink, she teleported behind him.
"Hello, red. Fancy meeting you again."
With that, her whip came out, wrist flicking the tails as she aimed for the page's vulnerable backside.
~~~ If Paul Jones could make a list of all the things he found wrong with this magical bullshit nonsense, travel issues would be on the top of that very, very long list.
Not only did they fail to get badass weapons like their enemies apparently ******** got but they had to hike their asses wherever they needed to go. Dumbass Negaverse agents got to teleport here and there but aside from the occasional high jump, he was left traveling on foot.
Or, in this case, in his car.
Which was currently being pulled over by a goddamn police officer because of the goddamn busted headlight that he still hadn't gotten fixed since he smacked into the whatever the ********> he'd hit when coming to his spouse's aid after Itchoochoo had called him.
Noah - or Gomorrah, rather - was waiting for him at their predetermined spot but he was already ten minutes late... and it didn't seem like the officer cared to hurry the ******** up with his ticket so he could get there ******** class="quote">Nuxaz
Waiting was irritating and being kept waiting by his husband, who knew exactly how his spouse felt about running late, only served to make him extra pissy. His mood hadn't been in the best of states anyway and it was ticking down with every minute that passed.
There was a flare in his gut that screamed danger and it coiled darkly enough, like something slithering out of the shadows to grip his throat, to almost make him sick but it was the sound of her voice and the recognition that came with it that made the hair on the back of his neck stand straight.
"Who the ********--" Gomorrah started, barely having the time to try and react, scrambling forward only to have the tip of the whip catch between his shoulder blades and tear through the fabric.
He went down, scrambling forward on his hands and knees with a string of curses dripping from his lips before he thought of his staff and found it in his hands, the man twisting to try and jab it at her if she got close ******** off."
Curses rolled off his tongue the moment he recognized her and being able to note the change in the young man's irritation had Angelite smirking. Watching someone so obnoxious, someone so grating on the ground and trying to crawl away from her...
Well, there was a silent satisfaction in the display.
To his request for her to <******** off, she let off a small laugh as her head shook. Blonde hair shifted from her shoulders with the motion as the whip dangled down by her side.
"Oh I don't think so - not this time, sir."
Another step forward and he was trying to retrieve his useless stick of a weapon. The motion, though somewhat expected, only proved to irk her further as she stepped forward and tried to swat it away with her boot. The weight of her foot soon came pressing down on his chest, which still hoarded away the precious starseed she was determined to retrieve.
"You and I have unfinished business to take care of."
~~~
Ticket shoved up in his sun visor, Paul made his way like a bat out of hell towards their predetermined spot. He already knew he was going to get chewed up and spit out for being fifteen minutes later than planned - that is, if Gomorrah even bothered to stick around and wait for him.
They were two steps forward and three steps back, it felt, when it came to figuring out this superhero bullshit they'd both been thrown into. He was grateful at the very least that Noah'd been flung into the predicament right along with him but with their collective attitudes, it hadn't been the smoothest of rides when it'd come to figuring things the ******** out.
As the wheel (and therefore car) turned, violet eyes went wide as a very familiar, very blonde figure came into view. The same figure that was currently practically standing on goddamn top of his husband.
s**t, s**t, s**t.
It was like some horrible nightmare deja vu all over again. He was still stuck in his car and it wasn't like he could ********' drive over the b***h without hurting Gomorrah in the process. <******** the car into park, he opened the door and hoisted himself out of the driver's seat. By the time the door slammed shut, Sodom was there in Paul's place, coattails flying behind him as the heavyset man bounded his way towards his significant other.
The blonde b***h wasn't gonna get away with s**t today.
Hell, she wasn't gonna ******** get away at all, if he had any say.

This was ******** bullshit.
The crazy blonde of a b***h was acting high and mighty towards him and Gomorrah wanted nothing more than to smack the smug look off her face. It didn't help that she'd kicked his shitty little staff thingy away, just out of reach.
The heel of her foot against his chest made him cough, all of the air forced out of his lungs with one hard kick and he felt dizzy in the aftermath.
"S'gonna stay unfinished b***h," he snapped, in a wheezy sort of way. Despite the lethality of his situation, Noah some how managed to sneer at her, hands wrapping around her ankle.
Sure he wasn't in the best of situations but she was a goddamn idiot if she thought he wasn't scrappy.
Which was exactly why he yanked, with all of his strength, on her ankle as he caught sight of Sodom rushing to him. "Hurry the ******** up ******** class="quote">ghouliboo

Her smirk didn't last long.
While the staff fell from his fingers, hitting the ground with a loud clack before rolling away, she let her guard down as her heel pressed further into the young man's chest. She should have still watched his hands but she was ready to go in for the kill, to send this b*****d into a world of pain before finally reaching in to snatch away his starseed for a trophy.
One wrist rose, the whip poised to come crashing down with his face, that cocky, arrogant face, and the cords of the whip brushed behind her as they dangled. But before she could bring her arm down for the blow, the man's hands found her foot and twisted, sending her into a world of pain as he shoved her off, unsteadying her footing in all of seconds flat.
Tumbling backwards, she landed on the ground unceremoniously, pain coursing through her wrist upon landing and her ankle from his cruel twisting. Grimacing, she reached over to snatch up the fallen whip and work to regain her footing, despite the fresh pain.
~~~
He'd never been so glad to be called a ******** in his life.
When Paul Jones went on his morning run, he kept himself at a pace and ensured his breathing was slow and steady.
When Sodom ran, there was no pace and no breathing regulation. He could feel his heart pounding in his ears, his mouth dry as his nostrils flared with each sharp inhale he took. As much as he wanted to respond to his lover, he was too busy trying to get to him, first and foremost.
The brief sense of relief was fleeting at knowing Gomorrah was still alive and kicking, especially as he watched the Negaverse Captain raise her whip above him. Anger coursed through his body as he stared her down, willing his energy and power to protect the one he loved the most.
In fact, something was coursing through him stronger than anger but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. A warmth devoured his body with a strange tingle, as if a new wave of adrenaline had taken over his muscles to give him an additional boost. In seconds flat he was at Gomorrah's side, reaching with one hand to grab the cast away stick while the other moved to forcibly push the redhead's back up into a sitting position.
Offering the stick to him, Sodom waited for his partner in crime (fighting) to steady himself before rising up to his feet, violet eyes staring down the woman who was grappling her own way back to her feet.
"This is the end for you, lady."
Once the b***h was off of him, Gomorrah allowed himself to wheeze once before he got the ******** up off the ground. His hand wrapped around the stick, using it and his husband's grip to yank himself to his feet and he rolled his shoulders back, trying to shake away the aching between his shoulder blades from when he'd been knocked on his a**.
"Get better timing a*****e," he barked at his husband, though it was clear that he was grateful to see the man. Stormy eyes settled on the woman, lips curling in a snarl when he took his bow staff in both hands.
"Yeah, I think it's the end of the ******** line for you." There was a pressure in his chest that didn't have anything to do with the aching of his body.
But suddenly there was a light and he felt different, like something had changed, including how much heavier his staff thing was than he remembered.
And when he looked at Sodom, he looked different too.
"The ******** are you wearing?"
What. The. Hell.
Blue eyes remained fixated on the two men as the glow around them became so bright that she almost had to turn away from them. The Captain fought through it, though, part out of curiosity and part out of concern as to what either would do to her if she allowed her guard to fall, even for a moment.
When the light faded, the two knights felt... stronger, somehow. Their uniforms looked different than they had only moments before, almost as if they'd... they'd gained power in a split second, somehow.
How in the world was that even possible???
It was clear that the men were in the dark as well, one already turning to the other to make a snide comment. Angelite took the opportunity of their confusion to get the hell out of that place - even if it took the last remaining ounces of her energy to teleport for a second time.
Two against one was already poor odds - even moreso when those two suddenly became stronger somehow.
~~~
The burst of light caught him off guard, the larger man assuming it was some sort of trick from the Negaverse's arsenal. Gomorrah's comment to the Captain continued to ring in his ears, up until the ginger made yet another smartass remark, causing Sodom to take pause to figure out what the <********> the younger man was talking about.
But...wait.
What the ******** ******** did you do to your stick?"
The shitty pole that had been cast aside now looked slightly less shitty and a helluva lot more creepy. It was like the page had decided to ram one end into the corpse of some unfortunate beast - screwy as ********, was what it was.
But that hadn't been all. Gomorrah had sprouted sleeves, among other details. Go figure the ******** would add a tie in for good measure - always had to look like some fancy ******** in whatever he did.
Stepping forward finally had him glancing towards the ground, his feet suddenly feeling significantly heavier than they had before.
Was... was he wearing armor of some ******** kind?
Well where the ******** had THAT been all of this time???

Gomorrah realized she was gone by the weird feeling that seemed to persist whenever he was close to someone in a costumed get up, not by the sudden absence of her body until after the light had faded and the spots had stopped clouding his vision.
Besides, he was too distracted by the nonsense his husband was spitting to really pay attention to the b***h who kept harassing him. <******** are you talking about?" He asked, stormy eyes flicking over to the staff he held in his hand. Seeing the ram head was almost startling but he only seemed to scowl more at it, as if the thing existing had upset him so.
"The ******** are you holding?" That wasn't the vial he knew, it looked like it could do some damage if it was swung at something.
It was then that he looked over to where the chick had been standing, they were alone and Gomorrah was some how pissier about everything than he had been before. "******** this let's go home," he announced, grabbing his husband by the front of his shirt and stalking back towards the car.
Somewhere along the way the glamour was dropped.

Sodom barely had time to register what the <********> Gomorrah was pointing at before the front of his suit was gripped tightly in slender pale fingers, the material yanked (along with the rest of him) as the taller man made his way back towards Paul's Baby.
Heavy boots almost tripped forward from the dragging, the glamour dropping almost as quickly as Gomorrah's when the redhead shifted from the Saturn knight to the same angry ******** he'd known and loved for ******** knew how many years now.
Legs stretched out to keep up, hands digging into his jean's pocket for the car keys as he took a chance and yanked back, dragging Noah over to him for a brief second to give the irritable ginger a stolen kiss. One that Paul needed, the fear of losing his other half having come far too close to comfort once again.
He released Noah to allow him to slide his way into the passenger seat of the car, taking a deep breath for himself before returning to the driver's side and shutting the door behind him.
