Leon Chandra had a fairly good idea about how to spend the day with Elliah. The two of them didn't have classes today thanks the the blessed existence of the weekend. Drumming their claws thoughtfully the Imp flopped over the sofa like a lazy bum, still in a pair of short pajamas and a tshirt. Yawning a bit Chandra sat up and rubbed at one of their light purple eyes. Looking towards Elliah's door that lead into their room mates room, Chandra decided instead of waiting...they'd try their luck with knocking. A bit tiredly, the Imp shuffled over, purple tail dragging behind them to enhance the comical fashion the sleepy teenager moved. Knocking at the others door...the white and purple colored Imp waited tired, hair still fluffy and wild looking as they hadn't gotten ready yet, and their appearance was wild disheveled. "Ellllll......." Chandra pawed at the door, simply for added silly dramatic effect. "I know you are in there..." The Imp was being mischievous despite being tired. Waiting as patiently as possible (which wasn't very) Chandra rocked back and forth on their bare feet. Chandra had decided a trip to a local diner close by campus for breakfast..or lunch if they preferred sounded awesome. The mall also seemed like a perfectly wonderful way to spend the day together. If the other wasn't up for that...they could always do something together at home. Chandra wasn't picky, they just wanted to spend time with her.
Rano Elliah peeled one eye open in confusion. She'd been halfheartedly drowsing in bed, attempting to ignore the ever brightening sunlight seeping into her room. Something had roused her out of her half slumber but looking around the room, nothing was making noise. Three seconds later she identified the sound of Chandra pawing at her door, their voice muffled through the wood. Giving up on sleep now that her dormmate wanted her attention, she sat up, blearily rubbing at her eyes. "Come in. . .the door's not locked!" she called out. Her hair was a mess, she could tell just from running her hand through it, but the nightgown seemed to have done better than expected. The deep purple fabric hadn't wrinkled from her sleep and the lace piping at the edges and sleeves hadn't been as much of a nuisance as she'd thought they would be. Rolling out of bed, she padded over to the door to see why Chandra hadn't just come in. Considering her voice had had that tinge of sleep, maybe they hadn't heard. Opening the door as she tugged the nightgown back into place, she got a glimpse of Chandra and a smile overtook her expression. She still couldn't believe how sweet and giving they'd been and they just looked so cute. They looked like they hadn't been out of bed that much longer than she had and she couldn't help but lean in to give them a soft kiss. "Morning, Chan. The sun is up," she bemoaned, falling into the imp. "Why is the sun up already?" A hand slid under their t-shirt so she could place her palm against the small of her back. Most of her weight was leaning into the imp and she nuzzled her face against their neck as if to block the sun out. wc: 303
Leon Realistically, Chandra had sort of heard Elliah...but they were also half asleep. Another morning, Chandra would likely invite themselves right on into the others bedroom and just crawl into bed and curl up with the other. Chandra flushed at the thought...wondering if Elliah would be okay with dating? Chandra knew it was a little early, and they didnt want to rush their friend, but Elliah was simply amazing and wonderful. How could the Imp not want to make things official? The thought brought a gentle, sleepy smile to their face. Smoothing the shirt from their pjs down a little bit, Chandra felt weird not to be in their binding..even first thing. Chandra had promised Elliah they would try and wear it less. Especially since their ribs didn't need the constant abuse of a tight binder 24/7 in all fairness. Chandra had no idea Elliah had called back. Even with their sensitive larger Imp ears, they were simply half asleep and tiredly pawing at the door minding their claws so not to rake the door. A happier expression took over that sleep filled one as they were greeted by the site of Elliah. The blush that blossomed on the Imp's face was rather evidient. Their freckled face was certainly burning with heat, as they in turn, kissed the other back. "Morning Elli..." A loud drawn out yawn followed this, before catching the other. Supporting the other, Chandra groaned a little with a small laugh. "Well it is morning time." Chandra teased lightly. When the other slipped under their shirt to touch the small of their back..the Imp in turned slid their arms around the other holding the other without minding the weight. "Want to go to breakfast and the mall here in a bit with me?" They murmured against the Baphoment's ear, nuzzling back as Chandra sighed happily. "Tempted to just lie around all day with you..that sounds nice too." Chandra's expression was sheepish at best.
Rano She could feel the dopey smile on her face when Chandra returned her kiss, nuzzling into her best friend and leaning harder into them. To her delight they wrapped their arms around her and kept her from hitting the ground. Less so was the fact that it was morning on the weekend. But with Chandra there. . well, it wasn't so bad. She always enjoyed time with her bestie. Though. . . she wondered if Chandra might want to be more. Maybe later she'd ask about it. "MMMmmm. . . let's go out for lunch. I'm sure we can find something around here for breakfast and we can lay around for a bit until it's a bit later." That would work out perfect for what Elliah wanted to do and she squeezed them in a brief hug as she nuzzled them more. "I have a couple ideas about what we could have, y'wanna hear them?" It was closer to lunchtime when the two of them were finally ready and on their way. Picking out their outfits and doing their hair, a light dusting of make-up. It was hard work being as fashionable as they were, but it was worth it when the two of them left the dorm and had nightmares doing doubletakes as they walked by. After lunch they would hit the mall. wc: 219
Leon Chandra sighed happily, somewhat in awe really of Elliah. How had they gotten so lucky? How?! Chandra still couldn't really believe it, yet the reality of course was they had simply gotten lucky with meeting someone they could see themselves spending a life time with. It was still a little early to get that invested..but when you found someone who not only understood you, and had baggage that matched your own. Elliah and they both had their struggles with their own gender identity. For Chandra, they dealt with varying levels of gender dysphoria... but since meeting Elliah, Chandra had to admit life made a lot more sense. Spending the morning together, Chandra never imagined how incomplete their world had been before that fateful day when they came across the other designing a beautiful dress. Chandra hoped Elliah knew just how much she was loved...the other made the Imp feel like they had been ported to a timeless love story...that they were featured in. "Ohhh? What did you have in mind lovebug~?" Chandra giggled as they talked...sharing in their morning plans. By the time it was ready to head out, Chandra stretched lazily with a easy going smile on their face. The demisexual Imp had never felt like they do, until the Baphomet came into their life. Having dressed up nice for the other, Chandra had offered their arm to Elliah as they walked along. Heading over to the local dinner, Chandra parked themselves on the same booth beside Elliah. Lazily leaning into the others side, and ever mindful of their horns, Chandra gently laid their head on the others shoulder. Looking over the menu half heartedly, Chandra lifted their head up. "Hey...I..um, I have something to ask you." Their purple gaze fell on Elliah, turning slightly in the booth to face her.
Rano Walking with a sort of on-cloud-nine expression on her face, Elliah leaned into Chandra, arms linked as they walked. Chandra was amazing and perfect and they got along so well. It was a gift from the nine that they'd come across one another. Aside from that brief scare awhile back, they'd gotten along perfectly. Especially recently. It gave her such a warm and happy feeling, being together, that Elliah was more than a little hopeful that Chandra would be open to taking their relationship to the next level. Just imagining being with someone else made her sick to her stomach. Not only was Chandra their best friend, but they. . .seriously wanted to be more with them. Would it be too soon to ask for something like that? It didn't feel too soon for her, but what if Chandra didn't feel the same way. Things had been so perfect lately that she couldn't stand if she did something that messed it up. Never had she thought that she'd feel this way about someone. Most of the time when other nightmares spoke about love and wanting to be with someone forever, she just rolled her eyes. Even the one letter from that poor nightmare that had tried confessing their love to her hadn't made her feel anything like this. It just proved that Chandra was perfect for her. They understood her boundaries, and loved her even with her issues. At least. . .Elliah felt like it was love. How else could she explain how caring and sweet they were to her? Her head was so stuffed full of these sorts of thoughts, along with the wonders from earlier, that she completely spaced out on their trek to the diner. Blinking, she looked around as they stepped in, surprised they'd arrived already. With a laugh under her breath, she took a seat, beaming as Chandra sat beside them instead of across from them. Slipping an arm around Chandra's shoulders, she glanced through the menu as Chandra leaned against her. "Hm?" Elliah turned as Chandra spoke, shifting so she could do the same. "Yeah, what's up?" A fleeting thought went through her that maybe Chandra was going to ask her to back off. She shook it off, telling herself that Chandra was as into it as she was and that that was a ridiculous fear. It still made her apprehensive of the question though. wc: 399
Leon Chandra wondered what was it, they had done exactly to have been so lucky. Truly, Elliah had been a blessing Chandra hadn't known they needed. Love always seemed out of their reach, and a strange foreign concept. People could be good looking, but finding someone truly appealing had never happened. At least, that was Chandra's once upon a time. The thought made their heart swell, pounding rapidly just thinking about the Baphomet at their side made them happy. Elliah was kind, understanding and generous with her honesty and affection. She had been brave, when otherwise most would have been too afraid to even try and overcome their adversities. Chandra had never met someone they didn't have to explain themselves to, or try and make it make sense. It was weird, but a far cry from a bad thing. Their confidence was going back and forth of course about asking their bestie out. Chandra had never dated anyone before, and until very recently hadn't felt a connection such as this one. It was far beyond the physical realm, and it was, in truth emotional most importantly. It was that bond that lead to their closeness. While they were just entering their Senior year, Chandra wondered if maybe someday they'd also share their adult lives together? They had plenty of time to figure all that out! Chandra didn't want to miss things in the moment and here and now. A lot of their life had been spent wasted on what amounted to trivial negativity. Sitting in the diner, with the scent of food and the warmth of the low lights of the well decorated establishment was nice. Chandra had been thinking about how to ask the other what was on their mind, but finally as Elliah turned to them there was no more time to plan and think. Their was very real fear maybe Elliah wouldn't want to date them. Yet if Chandra didn't take that step into the unknown, how would they ever know if it was meant to be? Chandra had never been so sure of something before until that very moment. The worst that happened was they got shot down. Chandra closed their purple eyes for a long moment before sliding their paw into Elliah's hand. "You...I..." They stammered for a moment before nibbling at their bottom lip. "I love you pieces Elli...and I wanted to ask you to be my girlfriend." Chandra blush blossomed, their white and freckled face and ears beat red. "O..Only if you want to of course?!" They blurted a bit wide eyed, ad they meant to be more sophisticated in how they asked but those words rolled out with such easy it was far to late for that. Chandra felt their heart thud wildly like a caged beast...their paw gently squeezed the others hand as they let the other have a chance to process their request.
Rano The longer Chandra took to answer, and the look on their face, the more Elliah started to suspect this wasn't going to be something she was going to enjoy hearing. Were they about to tell her that they couldn't stand her anymore? That they wanted to move out of the room? That they'd found someone else who made their heart pound and would give them the world and how could she even think that she could compare? Before her mind could come up with worse and worse scenarios, Chandra spoke, breaking her worries up. There were several long long moments where Elliah was sure they'd heard her wrong. She even pinched herself to make sure she wasn't dreaming. When she realized she wasn't dreaming, that Chandra had asked her out, had asked HER out! The blush that overtook her face was purple the hue of her hair. Throwing her arms around their neck, she squealed. "Yes!! Yes!!! I'd love to be your girlfriend, I was going to ask you!!" Her tail was going to fly off it was wagging so hard. Not that anyone could see it with how small it was. Her heart was so full it was bursting and to her embarrassment a couple tears trickled down her cheeks. Undeterred, she moved to press the longest kiss they'd shared yet to Chandra, nearly tumbling them out of the booth. By the time she pulled back, her emotions were a bit more under control and she refused to let go of one of Chandra's hand. The waiter had appeared to take their order, but she waved them off for another couple minutes. "Oh Chandra, I'm so happy--I'm so glad you asked. I'd been worried about how to ask you for like, the past, forever it's felt." She leaned in and nuzzled against their face, pressing a kiss to their warm cheek. "We have to do something. . .something to celebrate!" she decided. wc: 322
Leon They would have been a damn liar if the suspenseful way Elliah looked at them wasn't killing them internally. There was no point in holding back, but Chandra was entering into the unknown. However for the chance at what that unknown meant...she'd run to her friend if that's what it took. Chandra was struggling to maintain their composure. It was so hard not to break down and simply cry from being overjoyed. The fact of the matter was Elliah had said yes! Chandra had nearly shrieked with delight, as it has they let out a small choked sob. Throwing her arms around the other as Elliah tackled her. Even her long purple tail curled around the other as well to hold her as tightly as possible. Especially since she said she was going to ask her. It made Chandra's heart flutter with joy. Kissing the other back, Chandra's eyes closed as they stole this moment in time together. As their lips parted, a soft smile lined the others face. Squeezing Elliah's hand, she got up, settling back into the booth. Surprised that Elliah felt similar about asking them...it actually made them feel better about their own doubt. Nuzzling against the other, Chandra flushed as Elliah kissed their cheek. "I vote we go get ice cream cake~" She teased her tail twitched, lightly thumping on the booth. "Orrrrr...we go fabric shopping~!" Chandra beamed as the menu by her spot was forgotten as they talked. The waiter would get his order...at some point when they were ready. For now, this moment was exactly perfect as is. wc: 264
Rano Feeling Chandra hold her just as tightly, if not tighter relieved some hidden fear that the baphomet was just asking because of the things they'd shared. Giving them the brightest smile yet, Elliah wiped the remnants of moisture from her cheeks and scooted back to let Chandra back in the booth. Then she couldn't help but throw her arms around them again to hold them in a tight hug, nuzzling their cheek. "I vote we do both. We can get a slice of ice cream cake at that café we went to the other day and then we binge shop at the fabric store." Unable to help it, she nuzzled her new datemate again, lightly peppering a kiss along their cheek. "I can make you a cute new outfit or two or more." She was so ecstatic she'd be up all night trying to make them if Chandra didn't distract her. Everything was perfectly perfect in her world. The distant punishment of her parents wasn't even a thought. All of her was focused on the here and now, in the companionship of the lovely nightmare she'd found and was now DATING. They'd. . they could get rings or or or earrings or necklaces or something to show their union. She wanted to completely outfit them to show her love. Her zeal wasn't normally this high, but the past few days had been a dream and it was like she'd woken up and discovered it was all real and she got to keep all the marvelous presents that had been given to her in the dream. Her heart simply couldn't contain all of the joy and wonder she felt and she pressed another long kiss to her new datemate. Together the two of them planned out the rest of the day, eventually letting the waiter take their orders after their stomachs complained too loudly for them to ignore. It would take quite some time for the joy and wonder of being with someone so fantastic and perfectly suited for her to fade, if it ever did. wc: 345
