Negaspace was not somewhere that Adamantine frequented. She came when she needed to turn into quota's, and sometimes when there was special events like the negaverse tournament. Even then, the wolf pack had made a small spectacle of themselves. Zircon, the beta had lost not once but twice. Herself? She had run home with her tail tucked between her legs when Pyrite had come at her with every intention of making the senshi scream.
A chill spread over her arm as she looked around. Her intentions her were not to make a fool of herself but because she had finally reached the pinnacle of her power under the tutelage of Labyrinth. At least that's what the formal paperwork had said.
In truth, instead of being out in the open, they were going to upgrade her in the rift to dampen the call that two general like aura's could call upon. Not only that, but Silk had asked to do it down here as well, perhaps so he could be in his human form without stressing?
Heels clicked on the floor till she came to the empty office that Laby had claimed for them, her head peeking in. "Good day General." The reaper sat as foreboding as always, she kept a safe distance away.

Silk was stoked. Actually, it went even beyond stoked. The word wasn't strong enough to describe exactly just how excited he was that Adamantine was upgrading to eternal. For once, it had nothing to do with the fact he was going to be able to show off his upgrading prowess. No. He was genuinely excited for the corrupt for multiple reasons. One, the Pack would have another eternal, finally, that wasn't Dia (gag). Two, her powers would only increase. Three, she'd be able to defend herself better! Not only from the White Mooners but from...well. Golden eyes briefly slid over to the General from his spot on the corner of the desk of the office they waited in. Silk was swinging his human feet back and forth, and his tail which curled off the desk was occasionally swishing in his anticipation as well. At eternal, Adamantine would have a better chance of getting away too. Just in case. It was less of a chance of a repeat of that really bad thing that happened, which was great for all parties involved. When the corrupt made her appearance, Silk hopped off the desk, throwing his long sleeves into the air. "You're here!" He exclaimed.

Time kept ticking forward, for which Labyrinthie was mostly grateful for. Re-learning how to deal with the passage of time was a struggle he hadn't quite mastered yet, but like everything else, things were settling back into place. Relatively.
The darker demands of the person he was had quieted, something he could lull to a hush with the right amount of coaxing in the right situations and yet, he still put space between himself and the people he claimed to care about.
It was for their safety. The fail safe, as it were.
When Adamantine had arrived, Labyrinthite stood, hands behind his back. "Little star," he greeted, a rare thing of fondness in his tone. "Are you ready?"

"Hello Silk." The corrupt gently pat the catboy as he came over, a bit confused as to why he was in his human form rather then his cat form, but it just made her more curious. Perhaps there was a mission to be held and he was her partner?
Who knew with Laby, and who knew how upgrades from super to eternal went. Unlike her white moon counterparts, Upgrading in the negaverse was a big deal.
It meant things. It meant that she was recognized.
"As always, My general." She didn't smile, but moved to step closer to him. However they were to upgrade her, she was prepared for the pain that followed with it.

Silk was pleased as punch at the pat, and it really only enhanced his already good mood. Golden eyes looked between the General and the Corrupt, eager to get the proceedings underway. When Labyrinthite said the magic words, and Adamantine voiced her readiness, Silk's eyes lit up. One clawed hand shot above his head to shake free of his billowing sleeve. His fist was clenched, but within it, was the crystal they had received from the General Sovereign for the upgrade. Silk shook his other hand free of his sleeve, but held this empty one out to Adamantine. "Pen!" He announced, and waggled his fingers at her in his impatience for the item. As he waited, he turned his gaze to Labyrinthite, as always, looking for the General's explicit approval to move forward.

His face was impassive and if either sought to find emotion upon his expression, they would find none. Adamantine stepped forward and he stayed almost rigid. It wasn't like her corruption, where someone could help him promote her, instead they'd filed paper work and managed to get a crystal that would imbue her with the chaos needed.
It was tedious, annoying, but necessary.
"Very well," Labyrinthite said, stepping back to give Silk the space he wanted.

She noticed the rigidity only because she made sure to watch when Laby was prone to switch. It was a normal wariness of her general, and a healthy respect that even as she shifted from super to eternal, he could still kill her just as easily.
She summoned the dark blue star pen, handing it over to the kitten and watching him. Silk had a way of quickly upgrading the team, just as she was sure Theodore did, so she hoped it would be okay.
"You can do it." She wanted to pat the young kittens head, but she knew better. This is showing of his true skills as the wolf packs cat, and ultimately, one of Laby's better agents.
She knew he'd succeed!

With Labyrinthite's approval, and now with Adamantine's pen in his hand, Silk was ready to get to work as a Guardian. "Of course I can!" He quipped back, voice filled with the utmost confidence, before briefly, very briefly, his cheeks tinged a bit red. "But also because it's for you." It was somewhat said under his breath, as he reached up to press the crystal against the crack in Adamantine's chest. He knew it wasn't pleasant from the last time she had been upgrade but---a necessary procedure none the less. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, after all. Plus this was Adamantine---this was nothing. As the crystal started to do its work, and he could sense the senshi's power grow, Silk focused on her pen. He pressed the super pen between his palms, seemingly making it disappear---only for him to spread them apart. The newly minted dark blue eternal pen, adorned with bat wings now, was suspended in air for a moment, before it then landed on his awaiting palm. That finished, he turned to see the corrupt Stardust senshi, excited, but somewhat anxious, too.

The exchanges, the different behaviors that the pair were displaying did not go unnoticed, but the general said nothing. He was a means to an end, for this, and it would be his honor to see Adamantine given the bat wings that denoted she'd earned a high-rank among them despite everything life, and he unfortunately, had stacked against her.
Things were better, but this would be the best safe guard they could give her.
He shifted his weight and continued to watch, almost detached.

She didn't raise her gaze, and tried to take comfort that her general had been there for everything she had undergo'd. From her corruption....awakening...to her super upgrade and even now, to her Eternal. She lived under his roof, he provided her with care she had never had before. All these things mattered to her, exactly how much he mattered to her.
Her gaze only rose to his when the crystal entered her, breaking and spreading the mass amounts of chaos through her. It felt unimaginably different then her super, and she felt the whispers of the queen on her skin as she was promoted. She was breaking again and again and being made anew again until she stood before the pair.
Dazzling in a midnight blue gown with stars and dust embedded in the gown. She had the bow still on her back, and with it came a pair of the devilishly large black wings. She knew them to be nothing more then decoration of her rank, the yang to the ying of order's senshi....but there was a bit of pride. She brought her hand up, brushing a bang out of her face as she breathed through the last tremors of pain the new power before letting it drop, palm open before the guardian cat.
"Make me whole." She let her gaze drop to the pen, waiting for its new masters hand. The wings, she saw, similar to her on back ones. She did not expect words of praise from her general, and her gaze did not rise again. She wanted nothing more then his approval but since coming back, there was expectations of their wolf pack.
She had just finally met one of them now.

Silk let out a genuine gasp as the crystal had its effect on the senshi. She, to him, had always been dazzling before, but now? She really must have been the ******** dictionary definition. As her pale hand held open before him, Silk placed the eternal pen into it with some reverence. For a moment, though, his small dark fingers wrapped over her's on her pen. "You already were." Her hard work and dedication made her whole. Not the rank or the pen. They were proof, yes, but it was and always had been her drive. The Guardian let go of her hand, and stepped off to the side, casting his gaze towards their General to see if he did have anything for the senshi.

Part of him wondered if this promotion wouldn't have been done better without him. The apprehension and rightful wariness was difficult to ignore when it permeated the room and he felt as if there was an intimacy he was intruding upon.
But Adamantine was his and he would not leave her when she expected him to be by her side in some capacity again.
"Congratulations, Eternal Adamantine." The delivery was stiff, but he stepped forward anyway. In his hand, which he offered to her, was a silver charm bracelet decorated with charms that represented every one within the pack but stars littered the spaces between them.
He gave her space once her fingers wrapped around it.

Adamantine almost breathed out a sigh of relief. He had praised her and that was a gift in itself. How she wanted....Well, How she wanted to share her joy with him but...
Her eyes almost became saucers though as he dropped the gift in her hand, her own coming to cover for even the briefest moment is was allowed. She looked up at him and then down to the members that guarded her as she guarded them.
"Thank you." She closed her eyes, "Thank you so much. Thank you." She was sad about the move away but....they had done it. "By your command then, if you don't mind." The pain made her tired and she powered down to Regan. Exhausted.
"I want to go home." She reached over to pat Silk's head. "Thank you Laby...General. Thank you for being with me." She nodded. "I'll be at home."
