Personality: To accurately describe Adam, one would need words that suit his demeanor of valor and integrity. His visage is that of mystery and allure, yet he carries himself as if he shoulders the weight of the world. A golden heart resides within his chest for he cares only for his Queen whom he has devoted his all.
Biography: It was a night unlike any other. The stars decorated the sky, illuminating the floating isles of Skypiea when Adam was born. It was ordained by the gods that this child would be gifted upon the Skypieans. Despite his wingless disposition, he was regarded as a blessing among blessings due to the White Dwarf Star that appeared on the day of his arrival. However, many Skypieans thought that it was an omen and that the child would one day bring calamity upon their people.
Countless debates took place on whether to keep or cast the child away until the sky became clouds and thunder rumbled. Bolts of thunder cracked and flashed in the sky as a single bolt fell from the sky and crashed onto the child. Was this an answer to a prayer or a sign of displeasure from the gods? It was neither. The child remained unharmed and that's when they knew that it was the will of the gods that the child stay with them. All that could be thought was that there was a purpose for the child's arrival.
His time among the Skypieans was fruitful as it was there that he met his future Queen, the woman who would wage war with the world itself. He was 6 at the time of this fateful meeting. It was his birthday as well as the time of the Dwarf Star Festival, an event created to pay homage to the heavens for all the good things that have happened. It was a time where many kinds of people could enter Skypiea to partake in the festivities and all that Skypiea had to offer. His hair was short and jet black, consuming all light that touched it. Eyes, sparkling like topazes, gazed upon all. The look of purity and stature of grace painted on the ebony canvas that was his skin. It was on this day that they named the boy.
Adam.
After the first man, appropriate for he was indeed the first human to be born and raised among them. He was treated and raised like any other Skypiean child, though he lived on his own. They taught him everything from traditions to education. Doubt still lingered in the minds of many despite the signs from the divine. So to alleviate some of the public's distress, it was decided that Adam would live separately from them, while still spending time within the village.
His solitude, however, bore unexpected results. Adam displayed signs of abilities unlike any other. Some thought it was from the bolt that struck him, while others believed it to be inherent. Both assumptions were wrong as during Adam's frequent walks, he found a strange fruit. Quite unlike any he'd seen before upon further inspection. Under the assumption that it was exotic, Adam partook of the fruit only to be greeted with a bitter and tart taste. Disappointed, he tossed it to the side and returned to his stroll in the forest. It wasn't until he was alone in his hut that he discovered what it was.
A Devil Fruit.
A mystical fruit found around the world that granted mysterious abilities dependent on the type and variation of the Fruit itself. By consuming such a fruit, one would gain power in exchange for the ability to swim. As described in the books he had, Adam found no record of the fruit that he had consumed and thus was unsure of its abilities. It would not be until the age of 10, that his power was revealed. For the next 12 years, Adam would hone his strength and leave Skypiea. The time to see the world was now. What wonders would be shown to Adam... What tragedies would befall him...
