The go-ahead came after a few evacuation parties left the meeting area. Where Algol did not have a bird of his own, the demon had Noh deliver to him one of hers to help him keep near others, but, for all intents and porpuses, Algol had a second mission from Primitus, and it had been made explicit by his mother's god-lover that he, and his party, gathered any whom may be in the opath of their Hellgate's fire as they moved, meaning they needed to be swift, and Mara's skill was absolutely vital, the bird already airborn at the first opportunity. A smart avian, Algol supposed, but one he preferred stay at his mistress' side. No, that honor had been to Itzal, the young raven that seemed to always with that chil..... And watching. Unsettling bird, but a smart one. Still, Mara seemed attentive above, leaving Algol to observe below, looking over his small band of demons and sador and... A Nat. Well, at least, for it's bloodthirsty nature it was being polite enough to help, but perhaps because the Demons were allowing him his children to help keep calm, and Mauji seemed content to climb for a middling vantage point.... Both to mind his children, and to mind the path ahead. The group was going to be thurough, if Algol had his way, and the lion moved, before watching for signs of rogues. A dark lioness made her way into view of the encroaching party deftly, her glimmering dark pelt with shining wing markings and face identifying her easily as Accendo nox Nictus, the jewelry of her father at her neck as she spied the demon band, and swiftly moved to Algol, frowning as she was trailed by an older white and brown female, and two males -- one dark, one middling, the female frowning. "There's demons crawling. I see visions of fire and dead broken eggs, and Miira can't be still. What is happening?" Algol was swift to reply, shifting to herd ther small grouping into his own. "The Hellgate is to turn on the land and everyone must flee -- pride or rogue. Stay a while, and we can lead you to safety. We will protect you -- I make my oath." This is a Demon Evacuation Party! The Aegnor'hini have seen the signs, and due to the geological activity caused by the War in Heaven, the Aegnor'hini volcano is about to erupt! The Demons have chosen to evacuate in groups thanks to timely warnings by a combination of the farmer dwarves, whom recognized the signs, and the visions of the seers in the pride, whom saw the eruption. However the pride is full aware there's non-demons in the area, and the God of Leadership, Primitus, has ordered Algol's group to find and save anyone they meet.
This ORP is for EVERYONE who might be in the area. Be you a rogue, wandering Stormboirn, or anything else, you are welcome to post in this RP for a way to feel out the demons at no risk to your SoA. This does mean you are not forced to join -- this is just an interesting tale to pass to others of meeting demons and of fleeing the immenant eruption of a volcano! How exciting!
Those whom seek safety will be protected equally to those whom are in the pride for this RP - Algol has been told toi save the rogues and anyone else in his path to join the other demons, and this ORP will end when the next Mule-Posted ORP begins. If you have a question, PM NovaCracker... Me. PM me. I'm happy to answer your questions!

Harribitxi had never really been sure what to do with himself. He'd been wandering the Rogue lands beneath the night sky, and had more recently been around the Volcano. The rumbling of the Earth troubled him some, moreso to see that...ah. There were lions movng around....and...one of them was...Was that his mother? Eyes going wide, Harri slowly let his paws carry him towards the band, "Please. Tell me one of you knows what is happening."Vanya knew well where her family had gone, but had decided to remain in the rogue lands around the Hellgate. Demon though she might be, the young lioness had a life of wandering in her blood as well, and it was this that had kept her here. When at last the heavens began to tumble, and the weather began to go mad, and the mountain rumbled, her Visions overtook her. Collapsing to her stomach on the ground, the female had to groan as she saw. Fire, the ground burned to ash, danger...and...something cool, dark and made of stone. It rose before her like a monolith, and it was all that Vanya could do not to drown under the weight of her vision. Crying out loudly, she almost didn't notice that there was a group nearby, whimpering as she tried to claw her way out of the accursed throes of Sight. Andara was exhausted, her paws burning and roughened from her days in the hot sun, travelling. Those pale eyes had gone mostly blind now, barely able to make out shapes as she traversed the landscape around her. All of this...what danger was coming that the world echoed this way? What trouble? It was the sound of voices that drew her to the Band, "Would you take a blind traveler in to your fold that I might find my way to safety?" She was so world-weary...first a prisoner, then a creature suspect, then free...but blinded. So much had happened, and now....now this all.

Shado'a had led a very solitary life up until now. Certainly, he would occasionally cross paths with other felines, or even a wild dog or a hyena, but he never really had much reason to keep company with any of them - they came into his life and left again without ever making much of an impact. It was lonely, living this way... terribly so, but it was what he knew, and he made do with it. So, given his life had been mostly solitary, when he saw a large group gathering together, he couldn't help but be curious. That it was on the heels of the rumbling and other strange things made it all the more concerning. So the dark leopard moved quietly in the direction of the gathering, listening to whatever information he could pick up. He wasn't exactly ready to approach them directly, but surely a group moved with a purpose, and that purpose was worth finding out. Suzu was incredibly grateful that Mauji was here. Even though he was a Nat, the worst possible thing one could be, she had memories of him (faint, but there) from before the demons had taken them, and she loved him. He was her father - how could she not? And so she kept close to him as she moved with the rest of the group, her mind stilling a little with the knowledge that he was here. ... Perhaps it was a bad thing, to depend so much on his presence. In fact, it probably was - but some part of Suzu had never quite gotten past being very small and very scared, and it was that part of her that found his presence comforting, despite being a leopardess grown and in a position in life where she did not actually need his strength. And now, with the Hellgate going up, she needed that reassurance more than ever. And - and besides, he was behaving! He was being good, and maybe he'd even be of some help! (More help than she could be, probably, since she couldn't seem to quite stop shaking...) Laana was irritated. There hadn't been anyone worth fighting around in some time, she hadn't seen her beautiful Lillith in ages - those so-called 'demons' took her away, treated her cruelly, not at all as the wonderful being she was - and now the very land seemed to be angry, rumbling beneath her paws and sending vibrations running all through her. No, she really was far from happy. But - oh, that group. Some of those were from the pride that had taken her lady! They seemed to be speaking peacefully enough with each other (ugh), and... was that something a rescue? An escort? Laana found herself sucking in a breath, a thought catching and holding in her mind that here, at last, was a way to gain easier access to Lillith - she did not have to join this stupid pride full of beasts, she didn't think, but she would be able to be near her, and perhaps gain a few more willing ears. "....Excuse me," she said, stepping forward and approaching the group. There was no point in playing meek and submissive - she was a terrible actress, and her scars gave the lie to that anyway, too many of them from battles hard-won - but she could feign politeness, feign respect, and reasonably well, too. "How far must we go? Can you truly assure the safety of everyone?" They wouldn't dare leave her Lillith behind to die to whatever was going on - it might be more practical, given how little they valued her - but they seem far too sentimental for such things. So - no, Lillith was fine. And with any luck, Laaana would be able to see her soon.

So many creatures. Algol studied asll those he could spy, paitent, and calm. They had urgency, but not so he would risk harm to anybody. Algol looked around, and bowed breifly. "The hellgate is to open." Algol explained to ther rogues questioning fiurst, but his smile was warm, even inviting. "Those not of our number are in as much danger as we and so my leaders bade me bring some of us to save as many as we can." Algol moved, taking in every face, eyes reading everyone. Breifly, his gaze turned to Accendo -- the seer was far from unknown to him and he bowed his head. "My lady, any you know of? Beyond those among us now." Accendo noct Nictus frowned, thinking, before nodding, looking to her son. "Well, there's Harribitxi here along. My daughter is to be along soon, but." The lioness cast a glance to Algol. "Father is concerned?" THAT was alarming, and Algol nodded, moving for the rogues calmly, casting a glance to Mauji, as if ordering the Nat to watch 00 nit an unkind motion, the Nat was minding his child, and less prone to attack his back, and instead the lion walked, talking in each before stopping, leaning on Andara, rumbling soothingly. "All. All are welcome if they seek help to safety, my dear. And perhaps longer, if acharming young miss wished." Oh, she seemed cute, and the male wasted no time smiling before looking to Laana. "We're ALL escaping. Don't worry, so, dear. Rogue, demon, sador -- we're not monsters.. Well except two and apparently they're being saved too, so, you know, we should be fine." Algol chuckled. "We're not here to judge my dear." Paws stopped by Vanya, the owner a pale demon whom paused if only to aid those the group missed, and a lioness in throesof probably visions.... "Algol. You missed one, genius." Noh'Vah's voice was gruff, frustrated, and firm, the pale chil casting the pleasure-seeker a sharp eye, the female uncannily ravenless to Algol's surprise. She nodded for the areas away, then as she tried to coax Vanya back to reality. "Come, now, dear one. Come on. It's alright." Noh soothed. She knew vbisions too well -- being a seer, and born of one. Above, Mara circled the copse of trees carefully, watching before sighting movement -- black, dark... Enough the bird dove, landing rapidly on Shado'a before flexing talon, eying him warily. "Not smart slipping around demons, boy." The bird hummed, eyes sparking. "Unless you want to die in fire? I suppose it's up to you. I'd be more open...." The bird glanced, looking to Mauji, and the leopard blinked, looking over. Oh. Well. A male. "Suzu, be wary." (( This may remain open into the next major Meta to allow people to post! I will try to have Algol or another demon answer as many as they can -- don't be afraid to ingle though!))

Maoz stayed close to Suzu, uncertain of how much help she would truly be, but wanting nothing more than to help. She cautiously moved over to Harribitxi once she knew Mauji was sticking with Suzu and nosed him. "What the Seasa means is that that..." She motioned towards the smoking volcano on the horizon. "Has been upset by all that is going on and since it is ours, we should make sure others don't suffer for it." She frowned. "Are...are you related to Badhron P-Primitus? You remind me of him."
Rilma had been out in the rogue lands on her way to visit her mother in the Aegnor'hini, curious how she and their family there was faring. She had not expected to find the pride moving en masse, and another group of them making nice with rogues that didn't bare their blood. She frowned, making her way over in time to hear the explanation. "The hellgate is going? Huh...good thing Father's home is far from here." The oasis would be safe, thank the stars.
Ficha had joined the rescue party, steady paws keeping her closer to the back of the group, but her eyes sharp. She joined Noh by Vanya a moment, wanting to make sure her former pridemate was okay before moving over to Andara. "All are welcome to join us in fleeing, as has been said. Whether you stay with us or separate when we are safe enough is up to you."

Harri could not help but rumble in warmth as he greeted his mother, brushing his nose to her head before looking around at all the others. The Hellgate had opened. It answered many questions as to why the small voice inside him had begun to scream loudly. It had drawn him here, and now he was to stay here. It surprised him when a quiet white female made her way to him, touching him gently with her nose, "That is good. I am glad to hear that the Pride is holding such responsibility." As before, his voice was warm and caring, a deep rumble in his chest, "I am grandson to Primitus, son of Accendo noct Nictus. It is a pleasure to meet you." Nosing her in turn, he pressed close beside her, trying to be a calming presence. A gruff voice rousted her slightly from the thick of blue water, and bone...and stone. Slowly, Vanya blinked, feeling the earth rumbling beneath her once again as she watched the pale demon with a desperate gleam in her eye, fear there, "Alright...? Where...am I? Where have my paws carried me? I was going to the hellgate but it is soon to burn all below it to ash....dark earth turning to stone..." Oh. she knew something now, gaze moving over the pale female, confused and lost. Andara'devi felt the strong form beside her, felt the warm rumble and the slight, flirting tone. Smiling softly, she chuckled low, "We shall see. It has been long since last I felt truly welcome after my imprisonment." Next came another dark shape, female this time, "Should I stay, it will be up to what I hear of who I travel with. I was born in to a pride that trapped me, and forced me in to something i was not." That was as much as she would say as she slipped in to the group, trying to make out more than the writhing mass of shapes.

Shado'a flinched back from the bird's presence on top of him, ears pinning to his skull. "Was curious," he admitted, the words coming with some difficulty. It had been so long since he'd had anyone to talk with, and there wasn't much point to stay in practice. "...Not used to groups." Not used to others in general, really, but it was clear he'd better not present himself as a threat, especially since he really didn't mean any harm.
He noticed the other leopards looking his way, but wasn't sure how to respond. Lifting his head, he drew out of hiding, but deliberately gave the cautious-looking male space. He wasn't here to woo anyone, and the pale female seemed frightened of him, besides. Instead, he just edged the rest of the way out of hiding and took a seat neat the group, shaking himself to try and dislodge the bird but otherwise content to remain silent and observe the goings-on.
Suzu smiled a little when Maoz left, relieved that the other sador seemed to be doing okay, even if Suzu herself still felt less-than-confident. If Maoz could handle this and help others out a little, than she could, too!
She glanced at the dark male Mauji had pointed out, smile slipping from her features as she tilted her head in curiosity. "He doesn't look that bad," she said, looking to her father uncertainly. "Confused, maybe lost? Is he going to be a problem?"
Maybe... maybe she should try to approach someone? But who? (Not the male leopard, with the way Mauji was watching him. She didn't want to get the nat in any trouble, and if he got too protective he might do something dumb...)
It took everything Laana had not to recoil in immediate disgust. How dare this fool imply her Lillith was a monster! She was a thousand, no, ten-thousand times better than this awful excuse for a lion! If she could, she'd caw this fool of a male's face off right now - but she couldn't, so she kept her claws to herself and considered her options.
This male was clearly a flirt, which meant... Perhaps she could use this to her own (and Lillith's) benefit, after all. "Then your aid is most welcome," she said, dipping her head invitingly and offering the male a smile. "It speaks well of your strength that you are able and willing to do such a thing for complete strangers."
