I just found out that in this state (Missouri) along with quite a few others....it's illegal to be gay, be married to someone who's gay, or have sex with someone of the same gender...kinda sucks if you ask me...
I'm just bothered as to why it's illegal, is it because it's untraditional? because that's a load of crap....all the Romans were gay 3nodding and I'm going to get myself a BF out here in spite of them all! domokun because that's a sucky law!

According to this chart I saw, it's illegal to have homosexual relationships in Alabama, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North and South Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. That same chart shows that several states repealed laws against it, so hopefully the rest will follow suit. It's pretty scary, isn't it? I don't live in any of those states, but if I did, I guess I would be a criminal. xp

Wait a sec, I thought that all of those laws had been repealed back in the 70's along with repealing the anti-sodomy laws. O.o
But if those laws are still on the books then thats just really messed up...

O.o But if those laws are still on the books then thats just really messed up... It's state laws. I'm guessing it's like those weird laws that are left over from previous eras that they don't really enforce. But still. The idea that they could if they wanted to is bothersome.

Aren't we like...one of the few countries that doesn't allow gay marriage or something like that? We're really lame D= I know that the countries that do allow gays to marry are still unsure about it (EX: I think it France, or England, when you're going to get married you need to prove to the court that you're going to really be with this person by living together for 6 months).
I'm shocked that the state I live in doesn't have any laws like that because people are so...stupid when it comes to talking about this subject.

Even though it is illeagle to be "gay" in some states, they can't enforce the law! Texas showed that one. The Supreem Court ruled it unconstitutional to make laws concerning personal lives and choices. How that doesn't include Marrage I don't know.

Lol well becareful doing that, you could end up with alot of trouble in your hands. But meh not all the romans were gay for one thing, and I don't think they were gay to begin with. They inguaged in homosexual sex o_O technically doesnt make them gay inless they were praticeing it in a way other then the norm of that time period. Bah what the hell do I know though, it's late and I'm tired xp I more then likely have no clue what I'm talking about.
