The heat of summer was always something that Adamantine hated. Beyond the fact that it was stifling and humid, heat brought everyone out later. While it made easy prey, it made for hard moving around and remaining inclusive and hidden.
She was particularly eye catching in the sparkling gown in the dead of night. Something she loathed more then others. Heels clicked on the ground, sparkles that left a small glow in her trail.
She moved slower tonight, not because of the heat, but because she had been stupid. She had found something she had not wanted and paid the price. Gown ripped, sash torn. She rested against the wall of a small garden maze, drawing the gown away to look at the blood and cut on her leg.
Damn the knights and their weapons and strength. She hated fighting them. She even felt the aura of another one. She debated teleporting away but couldn't muster the energy to do so. Her body ached in a way that she wasn't sure she could manage without energy. She thought, instead, if she could play a damsel, the knight would be stupid enough to fall for her.

Sedna didn't particularly mind the weather.. Especially when one's element was water- something he had learned the hard way, to carry around when there wasn't a water source nearby. It was one of his first times powering up since he had arrived on his flight days ago, when the pull of knighthood created an unsettled restlessness. He couldn't remember when he last powered up, the craving sensation nearly devouring his senses. He almost regretted returning to this battle-ridden city. He was in the middle of taking a sip when a shimmer caught his eye.
'Eye-catching' didn't do it justice. The good side didn't make females like that. It was such a shame, white wasn't nearly as inspirational as the negaverse black-clothed beauties.
Clearly she wasn't on the good side. Her aura said more than enough.
But obviously, she was in trouble.
He debated it.. for all of two seconds. He wasn't married to his particular alliance after all-- at least, not yet. There was one particular knight in the vicinity stupid enough to fall for her. Blue kimono sash trailing behind him, he approached Adamantine with a finger gesturing silence on his lips. "Looks like you're in a tiny spot of trouble-- Think you can trust my side long enough to get you out of here?"
He was a knight that really couldn't double team up on such a beauty.

Sometimes, Adamantine cursed that her face was a consitently stoic face. She had hoped that enough time around Zircon or even Prissy would allow her to mimic the facial reactions to others. Especially in times like this, where she could pretend to be some sort of damsel.
It was hard to pretend to be weak, but it was easier to actually be weak when she was. The finger on his lips made her eyes narrow on his and she brought her hand up. "No." The answer came out more strongly then she meant, but she moved her body away from him, almost shying away in a way.
"It's because of your side that I'm here." She tried to mimic the pout Prissy gave Chase when she did something wrong but honestly....her face just looked like she was frowning.
"What's stopping you from finishing your friends job?"

Ryugu-jo's face, on the contrary, showed everything in comparison to this dark senshi's stern expression. His eyebrows furrowed, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. He tipped his head to the side as she voiced her refusal, as he kept a watchful eye on the scenery around him. He started off in a hesitant tone, trying to pick his words carefully, with little success.
"Well, typically.. I like to choose my friends. Also, typically, one should ideally know their friend. So that so-called friend over there wouldn't be called my friend. So in all honesty, you're lucky because you're a beautiful woman that I'd like to become friends with." He gestured from himself to Adamantine, ending the sentence with a friendly wink.
Sensing a familiar energy close by, he could hear the clock shortening, reaching out his hand once more. He tried to stem his impatience, knowing it would do no good for the situation.
"Of course, if you'd like to wait pleasantly around for my stranger danger friend to come finish the job, I'm sure that won't be too heavy on my conscience."
Pause.
"Since you were handling it pretty well, right?"

It was actually working. She didn't think he'd actually help her. The move to refuse him had been a bit bold, she thought, but it added to the essence that she was truly in distress. She didn't rely on the facial features of the knight. He was an open book and open body language.
Everything about him spoke of weakness and the inner wolf in her glee'd at the idea that it was easy. She stopped herself though, listening to his words. To be cocky was a fool's mistake and she had learned her lesson after the nega tournament.
Her face didn't change much, but the way she held herself did. She relaxed for him, showing her own weakness and turning her head as if embarrassed by his compliment. "No. I..." She paused, "I don't wish to stay." She turned to look back at him and then attempted to pull herself up. "If...If you know somewhere that is safe..." She gritted teeth, but that was real. The pain was very much real and reminded her why exactly she needed the knight to pay attention to her like he was. "Then I will go."
Though she loathed the idea of touching a stranger, especially a man, she would have to let the fear go in for survival. Worst came to worst, she would pen for Laby or Dia and they'd either take this knight for their own, or dispose of him.
"Can I trust you?"
