Hyperborea played with her skirt as she waited by the Times Circle Fountain. She was feeling nervous and excited all at the same time. She'd be showing Elvira her wonder tonight. She had planned for the evening and had even packed a picnic basket. It would be their first date since she had gotten out of the hospital.
She felt the approach of the familiar warm aura. She got up when she saw the red and green senshi approach. She quickly got up rushing to meet her girlfriend. She wrapped her in a tender hug. The girl had grown alot in the last year she was now much taller than her girlfriend.
"Elvira I'm so happy you could make it. I can't wait to show you Hyperborea." She said excitedly to the brunette.

Elvira smiled softly, looking more than a little nervous. Or...apprehensive might be a better word for it. “Hey, Hype...how are you doing? It’s been a while...you’re feeling better, aren’t you?” Honestly, she hoped so. It had scared her to see the other girl in the hospital bed...and had worried her even more to see how little she had wanted to stay in the hospital bed.
She was kind of surprised that she looked so good, honestly.
If she had been the one to get hurt so badly...Elvira didn’t quite things she would be so ready or willing to just...go back into things. She would hesitate and worry...hell, she was already hesitating and worrying.
“And, yeah. I’m ready to see it. You seem...really eager to show me so, I’m ready when you are, okay?”
Elvira hoped nothing went wrong, and her purple eyes danced around the area just in case as she moved closer to the taller girl, taking her hand quietly and giving it a squeeze.

"Yup it'll take more than a little spear to keep me down." She tried to play it off. It was not like it was the first time she had been hospitalized, honestly she was starting to wonder how many more times she'd be hospitalized in her young life.
"Close your eyes." She said playfully as she squeezed the other girls hand back. She recited the oath as the pair vanished in a flash. In the space of a breath they had appeared in a new space entirely.
The perfect warmth of the cosmic wind felt good on her skin, it carried with it little rainbow petals from the nearby cherry blossom trees. The infinite expanse of stars above them looked like a field of twinkling diamonds sewn into the dark curtain of the cosmos.
They had appeared in the courtyard of her acropolis where giant beautiful grecian buildings towered over them. A bronze statue of a giant knight holding golden javelin up in the air stood behind them.
"I would like to welcome you Lady Elvira to the city hidden in the stars, Hyperborea" She said putting on a show of taking her girlfriends hand and curtsying to her. "My home away from home."

Elvira nodded, her expression still one of worry. She closed her eyes though, allowing Hype to murmur some words and then she felt the strange sensation of moving. The warm breeze on her face caused her to open her eyes in surprise, blinking. “Oh.”
It was beautiful, there was no doubt about that…the sky itself was…gorgeous.
“What a beautiful place…I’m afraid I just have this frozen little wasteland with some beat up old green houses…”
She tried to make light of it, but her eyes kept raking around the area, taking in everything and enjoying what she saw. “This is your…wonder? It’s…wonderful, for lack of a better word. I’m glad that you were able to bring me up here.” Finally, Elvira looked back at her girlfriend and gave a soft smile. “You…stay here often?”
Obviously, if this was her home away from home but…
“Don’t you get lonely if you stay here? Are there other people here?” She couldn’t imagine spending time alone on her planet…her homeworld. It was so desolate. So…empty. Perhaps that was why Hype had been so hellbent on getting her to come up here.
Perhaps she was just lonely.

Hyperborea took her girlfriends hands. "Merci, but you're too modest. I'm sure your world is as beautiful as it's senshi." She said with coy smile as she leaned in to place a quick kiss on the senshi's lips.
"I come here often, maybe once or twice a week, but I usually only stay for an hour or two." She explained. "I'm trying to map the whole of the city right now, so that I can get an idea of where everything is and what repairs need to be done."
"There's my ancestor Theseus although he usually stays away unless I specifically call him, something about letting me steward the wonder myself." She said with a shrug.
"Oui it does get lonely sometimes, this is a city, its supposed to be filled people but instead its filled silence." She admitted.
"That's why I like to bring people here, and you are my favorite guest, ma chérie." She said as she laid out the picnic blanket she had brought on a patch of grass.

Elvira gave a soft laugh with the kiss and listened as Hype spoke of her ancestor and visiting here twice a week. And the loneliness that she had figured was coming.
As the two got settled on the grass, Elvira moved closer, resting against the other girl’s chest for a moment and trying to filter through the thoughts in her mind. “Say, what do you know about Metallia?” It was an out there question, and honestly she expected the worst. She knew that Hyperborea was as against chaos as anyone could be but…
Ever since meeting up with that cat, her mind had been almost obsessing over the thought. “I’ve heard that she’s wise. And has a lot of knowledge…do…do you know anything about her, Hype? You always seem to know more about all of this stuff than I do…and I don’t know…I was speaking with a Guardian Cat and…he was…dark? Corrupted but…he spoke of her and…”
She shrugged, utterly unwilling to look up. “And I don’t know. I can’t stop wondering. I want to know more, I guess.”

Hyperborea smiled as Elvira rested her head against her wrapping her arms around her. She was a bit taken aback by the seemingly random question but she thought.
"I know a little bit but not as much as I would like. A corrupt senshi I fought referred to her a god and queen. I don't know if I believe that but I do believe she is ancient and very powerful. She'd have to be to lead the Negaverse. I'm sure she is knowledgeable and intelligent but I would doubt wise." She said looking up at the stars.
"I have seen a possible future where she, where the Negaverse won. She was destroying the planet, whole cities. A wise ruler doesn't do that, even if she has no compassion she should know that it is a complete waste of resources." She said.
"This is just a theory but I think in a way she is like a counter part to the Code. Both ancient powerful entities with alot of knowledge. However where the Code gives energy and power Metallia takes energy and corrupts power. Where the Code is benevolent Metallia is cruel. And where the Code tries to build Metallia destroys."
Hyperborea noticed Elvira seemed unsure. She rubbed her girlfriend's arm encouragingly. "Wanting to know more is never a bad thing, I know I do. We just have to be careful about where we get our information. Unfortunately the best sources for knowledge on her are those in the Negaverse and even if their minds aren't poisoned by chaos they aren't exactly unbiased sources, though I suppose neither am I." she said with a slight chuckle.

God and Queen.
It was a strange thought, and one that again drew goosebumps over her arms, a reaction that she wasn’t sure she liked.
But the next words out of her girlfriends mouth made Elvira pause and look confused. “…A future…where the Negaverse…won? What do you mean by that?”
The senshi tried to imagine it. The people she knew and loved…remade by Metallia’s hand. Dark Christmas. Dark Hyperborea…Arias and Virell and Nick…all wearing black, all serving that amazing…God and Queen.
There was a soft sigh and Elvira’s eyes drooped slightly. “…That would at least bring peace.” Her words were quiet, thoughtful. She wanted to see Tiberius again. Wanted to meet Sourpatch. Wanted more answers, no matter how skewed they were.
“I…I’m not sure what the Code is…I’ve never heard that term either, I don’t think.”
And if she had, it didn’t last long in her mind.

"It was a vision, a warning of what could happen." She said. "But it was only that, a warning. The future I saw, things have already changed that make it impossible."
Elvira's next words brought a sock to Hyperborea's heart and her mind raced trying to think of the right words. "It won't bring peace ma chérie, it'll bring nothingness." She finally said as gently as she could. "Order fights for true peace, the peace of the silver millennium. For our galaxy to live in peace and harmony again. We'll only have peace when we defeat Metallia and purify her soldiers. And we will do that no matter how long it takes we'll win and we'll get our happy ending." She promised.
"Well that is at least something I know more about." Hyperborea said. "The Code is what powers us knights, its sends us our weapons and advances us to squires and then eventually knights."
"We each have a piece of the code on our wonders. In fact would you like to see mine." She offered.

Elvira nodded slowly, her mind far away, trying to imagine a future where everyone wore black. There wouldn’t be fighting then, and she couldn’t see why that wouldn’t be peace.
“How do you figure that it will bring nothingness? It would stop the fighting…and I can’t see us ever defeating such a powerful person…and I don’t think we’d be able to purify everyone away from Chaos…besides. If someone…I mean…”
She trailed off and rubbed her face suddenly. “How can you really get rid of chaos anyway? Won’t it always be there? Isn’t strife unavoidable?” Wasn’t it just better to fold? To give in…?
No. Obviously it wasn’t but…
But.
“What does it look like? Is it something special? Does it look fancy or something?” Elvira couldn’t really see the point in what this Code piece would do…if it was like Metallia…but was broken up…how could Hype think that it was as powerful as her? That just didn’t make any sense to her.
“Maybe just…tell me about it? I’m…hungry.”

"Elvira I..." Hyperborea bit her lip. "I saw whole cities be swallowed up, great holes into rift opened underneath them. Order was massacred in rivers of blood and civilians were slaughtered like cattle. The fighting might stop if the negaverse wins but that is only because everyone else will be dead." She said softly but seriously.
"I'm sorry love I don't mean to scare you with doom and gloom but I do want you to know this is what will happen if we give up. In that future I saw. I had become so bitter, I was alone for many years fighting and killing and all I saw was Order getting weaker and weaker. I eventually just gave up I gave myself to a negaverse princess and became one her generals. But I didn't find peace only more killing, hunting down and slaughtering the people I had once called allies and friends." She admitted. "I made a vow after I saw this, a vow that I would never take a life and that I would never bend the knee to chaos. Because we have to be better we have to protect life and fight for peace."
"Don't forget we have powerful people as well, Princess Polaris or Prince Castor, Royal Knight Camelot, my own princess Sailor Cosmos, and who knows how many other powerful order fighters are out there or are waiting to be reborn." She tried to assure her.
"No perhaps we can't purify everyone but we can try to purify as many as possible. There might be some who can't be saved but that doesn't mean we stop trying."
"As for if chaos will always be there I don't know all I know is that it wasn't always around and if there was a time chaos wasn't there then I believe we can get rid of it now." she said.
Hyperborea handed Elvira one of the sandwiches she had made, under the supervision of her cook though she would never admit that, and a drink.
"Its a ball of pure light like a tiny sun set inside of a great crystal that floats in a special chamber at the heart of an ever shifting labyrinth. It sends cascades of iridescent light across the chamber. It powers everything on this wonder, even the magical trees." She said gesturing around her at the rainbow colored cherry blossoms. "and myself."

The words made the senshi shudder but she nodded, going quiet. Hype had gone to the Negaverse in this strange vision but…she couldn’t ask her if she had felt more powerful. If she felt an extra…oomph from chaos…
Elvira couldn’t ask any of the things that she wanted to, and she fell quiet, giving a soft sigh, though frowning slightly as the world ‘Royal’ caught her attention. Tiberius had mentioned Royals and the subject never got revisited but…
“I don’t know any of these Princes or Princeses…or a royal knight…I’ve never heard of any of them…Do they do anything? I’ve never met one…”
Elvira took the sandwich with a soft word of thanks and nibbled on it, sighing softly. “This is delicious…thank you, Hype. That…the um…The code thing sounds really interesting! Maybe someday you can take me to look at it but…I’d rather just spend the rest of the day here with you. It’s so comfortable.” Her eyes closed as she relaxed against her girlfriend.
There was no real need to keep obsessing over these things…she should just relax and enjoy what was in front of her.
She could worry later.

Hyperborea held her girlfriend a bit closer. "Princess Polaris I have not seen in a while not since her wedding, so I'm not sure what she is currently doing. Prince Castor is still out and about I'm pretty sure though we aren't friends I only know by reputation and from large order meeting so I don't know what he does with his time. Camelot however is a closer friend, a mentor really. He's a good man, he keeps vigil at the city library and helps anyone he finds in danger or in need of advice. Oh and then there is Princess Ganymede, although I've only met her once so I'm not sure where she is or what she is doing. Sailor Cosmos I've heard keeps watch over the Galaxy Cauldron and only goes to earth if she is needed." She elaborated what she knew.
"There a few as well that I've never met but have been told about like Princess Iris, Princess Chronos, Princess Chibimoon ." She said taking a bite of her own sandwich.
"I think most of them do what we do, look out for chaos fight it when necessary. Try to help newer senshi and knights. Oh and then of course there are purifications, as far as I know they all help officers and corrupted senshi who realize the truth of what the Negaverse is come to our side, they help them find a new life." She said after she finished her bite.
"That sounds lovely to me." Cuddling with her beautiful girlfriend in her beautiful wonder tens of thousands of light years away from all the fighting and blood shed of Destiny city.
