Personality: In times long past, young Empress of the ancient Demon-kind lived joyfully among her people. She was loved, and embraced by all. Never to see a day of pain, never to see a day of suffering. She gave her every moment for the future of her people, and was shown equal devotion by them in return. Even as a young child, she made incredible strides that helped the advancement of all. Her positivity knew no limits, and her smile broke the ice of even the most cold heart. Unfortunately, that was not meant to be. During her teenage years she was met with a traumatic event that broke both her mind and soul. Fragmented and filled with rage, she was foiled into a barbaric madwoman that had to be put down by a dear friend she made over the years. Yet, she did not die. Instead she was locked away, imprisoned within the depths of the Rebana Te Ra underwater catacombs, forced into a limbo of neither life nor death. A hibernation where only her blackest emotions were unbound to fester and grow. Now, she is nothing more than a monster. A beast, driven purely by her remaining emotions. Desiring the downfall of the one that caused her this fate, and to be suppressed by the one she seeks forgiveness from more than anything. Destruction, and then salvation. Or so it should be, but that only speaks for her "other self". In the end, her outer shell, seems to be the same kind girl from those years ago. A gentle member of Eden's Dove.
Biography: Once upon a time there lived a girl. A beautiful girl of royal blood, born a god among her people. Loved and cherished by all. She was the people’s light, and very reason to move forward. Not a single person hated this girl, not even the jealous ones. No, all desired her approval and acceptance. And this girl gave it equally. Within her kingdom all knew good harvest and wealth. There existed no form of struggle or suffering. No hardship or pain. Any that rose, was quickly sealed by the girl’s embrace. She gave the demons a gentle touch they never had experienced before. The way she moved, danced, sang, laughed, and smiled… It was like a goddess of love radiating her blessing upon their hearts. Her name was Celtisilia. No one knew where she had come from, but one day she simply drifted among their waters, and upon being found was then presented to the Demon-blood, they all kneeled at once. It was as if something of superior birth had appeared before them.
Tears ran down their eyes, and hope welled up in their hearts. They knew it to be true. She was the one. As Celtisilia grew older, so too did her talents and charisma. She taught the people a means of combat she for some reason never learned, but simply knew. She taught them means of agriculture. She conversed with wayward souls, and freed the possessed from their torment. She fended off wild life, who simply desired acceptance deep down. She was an anomaly. Unfortunately, she might have been too much of a misplacement in the world’s system. Before long, World Nobles arrived at her kingdom. Though they seemed peaceful initially, quickly they became persistent in wanting to make use of the girl’s gifts. They desired her cooperation in ‘saving the world’, as they put it. Yet every time, she rejected them. To her, one answer was clear. She only lived for her people. Nothing more than that. This angered the Tenryubito, but they did indeed leave. For some time, with the passing of years, the girl met travelers. Good people who worked to commit to her own task, but for the world at large. A concept she never considered initially, but was soon coerced into their beliefs through their kindness and determination.
The people she met boasted no arrogance, and held no malice. They were kind and gentle souls much akin to her. Inevitably, they became one, and so did their people. They lived in harmony for so long, and with time, Celtisilia adopted a child; a baby girl. Despite her young age, she loved and raised her unconditionally. With this bond, all knew this child was meant for great things. She could only bring perfection to their world. It was fated to be! It was… But soon enough, the persistent World Nobles returned. Lead by [ Redacted ], they moved to destroy everything the girl loved until she gave in and accepted their terms. But she could not! Her people forbade it! She would not be allowed to give her divinity over to those cruel, evil beings. They made her promise, and so she did. But in return, the Nobles replied in kind. One, by one, her people fell. Lined up and maimed like cattle. Forced to suffer, to bleed, to be wrung like cloth, and then die. Elderly, women, children, man, it did not matter. They all perished. In her despair, the girl’s spirit had been broken. She couldn’t watch anymore of this chaos. This dread.
She never experienced emotions this dark before. She didn’t know what to do. All she wanted was her allies, and child. But that too, was not meant to be. Before long, the woman she had come to love and respect had been cut down by one whom she trusted the most. That they both trusted... And her child’s heads were plunged and left pinned to rot before her. At the center of her kingdom, the once radiant land, everything she held dearest was dead. This act of evil was too much. She broke down both physically and emotionally. She could not scream, she could not feel pain, nor could she think. She was gone. All that remained of the great queen was a husk. A lifeless limp body with a fragmented soul. In her time of deepest despair, she was deemed useless to the Tenryubito. No one knew what kind of result they expected from this, but clearly that was not it. Before the girl could too be killed, a lone soldier of the Marines made way into the site of genocide, and cut down every Government official apart of the cruel act still present.
This Marine looked of justice and maturity. Her sword radiated nothing more than hope and power. She was truly a guardian of the spirit world, unlike her dark counterparts. The Soldier took the girl away from the place of her misery, and to a more humble space. One of tranquility and gentle winds. A place within the sky where only peace exists. Though broken and reduced to nothing more than a vegetable, the girl was treated gently by the soldier. Fed, bathed, and tended to. This Marine did her best to mend the girl’s heart. They spent so much time together, and little by little did Celtisilia come to. Within time, she was capable of basic words and phrases, and even acts of her divinity had re-manifested within her person. In the end, there was to be no hope for her. As if clockwork, the moment her divinity returned, World Government dogs were once again sent to secure and imprison her. Upon coming face to face with this madness again, the girl broke. As if forced to defend herself, as if to preserve the last semblance of hope left of her people, she did something she had never done before. She fought to kill.
With deadly precision, she manifested tools and weapons of cruel designs, likely warped from her fractured soul. They frayed and flared, burned and crackled. They were meant purely to murder, and the girl had no idea. She ripped the agents apart, and tore them asunder like it were nothing more than a game. Her divinity had gone black and dusk like the darkest night, filtered by no light. The emotions she suppressed before had resurfaced and grew. The cracks and fractured parts of her heart and soul were replaced with rage and hatred. Blood ran down her eyes as her voice reached pitches never thought possible. Her body moved like a well tuned machine, destroying one target after the next, paying no heed to anything outside of that protocol. The girl moved forth, cleaving and shooting down even innocent Skyfolk. She was blind with rage. Her madness had fallen too low, and her friend, the only one who cared for her now, was forced to act. Before the girl stood the lone Marine. The hero.
Through pleads and begging, the Marine asked for forgiveness, and wanted to start over. To let her try again, but Celtisilia’s mind was already long gone. There stood nothing more than a fallen divinity of chaos, hatred, and wrath. A beast, given an Authority to kill as if it were birthright. Yet the body struggled. As if using the last of her willpower, the girl could only so much as slow her body from pulling the trigger that would end her friend. In tears, the Marine announced her name, and in one devastating flash, cut down the girl. As Celtisilia’s body descended, as her body splashed out red like a geyser of pain, she screeched the name of her former friend and Dove member, remembering only it, and her hatred for the World Government. “A̰̮̲̹͈̺S̖̦̗͉̭̫͙̟Ț̶͖͡R̵̗̫̪̮͚̱̦̠A̶̞̯͟ͅḘ̡̤̮̪͞Ḁ̛̺͔̻͉̝̳͚
̙!”
No one knows whether it were out of sheer willpower or hatred, but the girl survived, and was imprisoned deep underwater by a secret faction with an agenda to [ Radacted ]. The Marine had vanished, and all went silent. That day was removed from history, never to be spoken of, never to be shared in text. Wiped from the minds of any who knew of it. It was a mighty blow to the World Government, to Eden's Dove, and to the the Demon-brood. Now, the girl remains deep in darkness, beneath the pinnacle of her rage. Chained and bound like a prisoner, forced to sleep in stasis. Never to grow old, never to return to the past.
Now stuck in a present, only her blackened emotions were allowed freedom. To grow, to fester, and to expand. One day, this Beast would be set free. Until then, Celtisilia sleeps.
