She didn't know how long she held on to Stella until she was able to take normal breaths. She didn't know how long it had been since Citrine had faded away and she was left with the very....very amazing woman that had saved her.
Even if Stella was a general, she felt okay. More stable.
"Why.....Why.....Why did you save me?" Amazone was starting to regain reason though, and the more she thought about it, the less she understood why Stella did it.
"Don't....don't you all want me dead?"

Stellerite's rubbing was gentle, careful caresses to the hair, to an arm, across a cheek.
"Why wouldn't I save you?" She countered, brows furrowing together as she pulled back to make the senshi look at her. "Haven't I always taken care of you?" She asked.
'Always' was a bit of a stretch, given that their meetings had been minimal but Stellerite had talked her down from an attack before and now, she'd shown up in the nick of time.
Her timing was impeccable and Stellerite wasn't going to let another agent ruin all her hard work like Epi had with Kari.
"Sweetheart," Stellerite started, making sure that her hands were gentle on either side of the dark-haired woman's face. "We don't want that, some of them...they're just a little over eager, short-tempered but you're safe with me, just like before. I promise."

Interactions had minimal but still impactful and Amazone knew that Stella had been right.
"I thought she was going to-" Amazone hiccuped, "I thought I was going to die." Dramatic maybe. She clung to Stella a bit longer, unaware the woman had already been plotting something for the girl as is.
Hands came up to rest on Stella's and she looked just a bit up at the other woman, lavender eyes meeting teal before taking a breath.
"I won't power up again." She nodded, "I can't do this life." She shook her head in her hands. "I can't expect you to save me anymore. I can't....I can't do this." She paled, "What if you aren't there....Next time??" Amazone's breath started to pick up.
"They'll find me again. They'll find me here. I need to power down now. I need to go!"

Stellerite's grip on the senshi was careful and gentle, but it was also deliberate in how she held her. It was in a manner designed to keep her from breaking free and running off.
"She was being rash, you're stressed Amazone, breathe," she instructed carefully, making sure to press her lips in a chaste manner against the woman's temple. "If you're with me you're safe from them okay?"
She couldn't feel anyone else in the immediate vicinity but it wouldn't hurt to make her believe she'd take her somewhere safe.
"Hey, if you're so worried..." she paused, letting herself drift off purposely "then I'll take you somewhere else. I can do that, in a blink of an eye, okay?"

"But for how long?" The girl didn't know what to think, and Stella was warm and wonderful but also strong too. Stella was one of them. What if one day, Stella was not so kind?
"Can you take me home?" To the garden and quiet and safety. Itsuki had never said they weren't allowed to be taken home, right? She breathed in and then took a leap of faith. Stella had been nothing but kind right?
"Can...Can you take me to here?" She rattled the address off and the description. An old church that had an attached garden, that was her home. That was where she was safe.
That's where she would fine, wouldn't she?

Her lips pursed, Stellerite opting out of answering the girl's question and focusing on the rest of what she said instead. "I can take you home," she affirmed, making sure her grip on the girl was secure before she focused on picturing the place Amazone described.
She'd seen it in passing once and that seemed to be enough to get them close to the church that she called home.
A hand was secured on the senshi's hip to keep her close and to support her. "This is your home?" She asked, trying to make light conversation as she planned her next move.
If Amazone dropped her senshi guise and invited her in...well that would really be all she needed to know that she was trusted despite the different sides and then...then she could call for a general-sovereign and Amazone could be hers.

Amazone didn't even think twice as soon as they teleported. Once she was home and she saw it in front of her, the glamour faded and Isis, petite and just as nervous was staring up at the general.
"I..I was told to never be powered up at home...." She didn't peel herself away, quite yet, but Isis needed to thank the general. "So...so this is my home. Now I am safe! I'll never power up again." She looked at Stella.
"I'm safe now...right? You won't tell anyone about me?" She looked around, "S...shouldn't you power down too? If...If you need something, I can...I can let you in!"

Amazone shifted without a second thought and Stellerite had to suppress her quiet glee. Exposing your identity was a rookie mistake and now...now it meant that she had nothing to lose and if she was lucky, all Amazone would remember after they dragged her into the negaverse was that Stellerite had taken care of her.
And if not, she'd learn because that would be the story she would spin and no other story would be heard but hers.
"What if...if you joined me, then you'd be with me and you'd stay safe. What do you think about that?" She put the offer out tentatively, like she was shy but the question distracted her.
"I--I can't. I'm not allowed to let others know, people who aren't on my side of things, know who I am."

Something didn't feel right. She didn't feel right. Like the sudden relization that she had done something wrong. It couldn't just be her anxiety again. Stella had not let go. Stella hadn't powered down.
"J...Join you?" Join her how? What was Stella asking? To be one of them. Lavender eyes widened and she pushed the woman back. "No...I..what are you asking? I can...I can't do that?" She didn't understand. "You...You know who I am though. If...If I can't see you...then that means....."
Her eyes turned toward the woman. "It....this..." She fumbled as she took a step back and again, another one. She had been tricked. She had been stupid. She should've asked Itsuki.
Stella knew who she was, but she didn't know who Stella was and that was her mistake.
"I...I can't join you. You need....you need to go!" The girl took off now, running towards her house. She could lock herself away. She could disappear. She could run. She'd leave Destiny city and never return. Stark fear as she hit her front door, entering and locking it behind her.
She needed to pack, she needed to run. It didn't even occur to her that Stella could enter her house. It wasn't like the woman was a vampire who needed to be invited.
She just needed to get away.

She expected the girl to panic. It was nearly a given considering her general disposition and yet, Stellerite wished that she hadn't pushed her back, hadn't run.
"You're making this difficult," she sighed, disappointing ringing in her tone while she watched the girl who was Amazone run off on her. She waited a minute, let her have that slight hope that she could escape and reach her home; let her think that maybe she could get away.
She plucked the communicator pen from subspace and pulled it apart, turning it into the tablet where she sent a message to any of the available General Sovereigns with a request to meet her at her current location.
Once certain it had been delivered, the pen was snapped shut and returned to the pocket she kept it in.
Taking a step forward, Stellerite teleported, putting her directly in front of her runaway senshi.
"Please Amazone, you don't need to make this difficult," she fake-begged, reaching to hold the woman by the arms. "If I do this...you'll stay safe. Trust me."

The sudden appearance of Stella made her squeak, apologize and then realize that she was in the reach of the general again.
She felt a chill down her spine. A foreboding in the air. A taste of fear and power. It cackled along her skin. Something was here.
She breathed in, slapping hands away. "No. No. It was all a trap. It was all wrong." Tears streamed down her face, but she had no where to run and no where to go.
"W...Why?" She looked up at Stella, "Why?" She turned her head and looked over at the shadowed figure, the weapon tapping on the ground. Eyes wide.
This was it.
"Stellarite...." She looked over at the woman again, falling to the ground.

Stellerite clucked her tongue, kneeling while Amazone's civilian form crumpled to the ground. Far too gingerly she reached out to brush short dark locks from the woman's forehead.
"Come now," she nearly cooed, fingers trailing down the side of her face. "Think highly of me, sweetheart, I'm only saving you from yourself."
As far as she was concerned she was doing the woman a favor. Corruption could bring relief, a new start, freedom.
Having to explain things wasn't going to be fun but she knew her way around words enough that she was certain she could spin the tale in her favor.
"Everything will be alright, you'll be safer this way." Her hand slipped down lower, pressing against the breastbone. "I promise," Stellerite's hand pushed into her chest and into the pocket that housed the starseed just as the shadow of whichever general-sovereign had answered her call fell across them.
Her fingers wrapped around the fragile gem and her lips quirked into a rare, almost giddy smile.
"When you wake up, everything will be different." She paused, feeling chaos ripple within her as she prepared herself for the sensation she felt when she'd been given help when it came to awakening Lovina into the negaverse. "You'll be better."
