Down the row of games you hear a soft splashing and some soft quacking. Surely no one's got real ducks down the game aisle? Nope. Just a couple of speakers sitting next to a bucket holding a bunch of bright yellow toy duckies! There's no real booth but there is a metal bucket holding a selection of bright rubber ducks floating serenely in some cool water. They look perfectly happy to be floating there and the people manning the booth are letting people pick up the ducks one at a time. Everyone gets to pick up one duck and from the looks of things there is something written on the bottom of the ducks. On the banner proclaiming that there's a duck pond here are a selection of stuffed toys and some buckets holding lolly pops and various wrapped candies. Some ducks just have numbers on the bottom, those get you a pick of candy that's in that numbered jar. But if you get lucky enough to get a duck with a smiley face on the bottom you can pick out a stuffed toy! Rules:★ Roll 1 d10. Every time you get a 1 or a 10 you've picked up a prize duck! ★ Dice can be rolled once every 4 hours ★ If you win please post in This Thread for a raffle ticket! ★ Yes you can save the plushie image for your journal! Please save to your own server though. PrizesSchool Civi 1 and School Civi 2

Sabrina had been having so much fun she completely forgot about her father coming. Instead she raced to the next game eagerly with her new pink plush friend in hand.
This game was a quick one. She handed in her ticket and picked a duck. No luck at this one, but that was okay since she still had ever adorable pink bunny t o hold.

Oh. man. It's here George thought, the lamest yet most stupidly difficult game he ever played: the duck pond He couildn't stand that game when he was younger, but now he just thought it was hilarious. So pulling his hair back and getting out some money, George made an attempt, pulling a duck from the little pool with ease.
Only to get a duck with no prize. Are you friggin kidding!? Unfortunately, George would have to back off in the meantime, for while he thought the game was dumb and lame and hated him, little kids did still like this game

Clementine was making her rounds from booth to booth, cycling so that she'd get at least two or three goes at everything (or, at least, that was what it felt like); she'd lost her mom at some point in the crowd, but honestly, she was fourteen. She had a phone. There were bigger problems, like the immediacy of her lack of prizes - and her usual terrible luck. At least her hand - eye coordination was getting better from all the videogames? That was what she was attributing it to, and even though it was a shot in the dark to think gaming would help her win carnival games (which were all rigged anyways, right, she was pretty sure she'd read something about that once - ) Clementine had hope.
Well. Completely unfounded hope. But, hey, hope was generally kind of like that.
APPARENTLY, though, maybe her hoping had an actual effect on the world - she'd picked up a prize duck! Cheered up for now, Clementine flounced off to the next booth after grabbing her prize and stuffing it a little viciously into her backpack, wondering if her luck would hold for yet another game. It was worth hoping for, after all - and she'd swing back around here for another duck in a bit. (Probably not a winning one. If it is, the odds might have been rigged in her favor or she'd start getting glared at like she'd rigged it herself, and that would have been terrible.)

Evren stared at the ducks in the pool. Carefully watching until, "Hmp!" She quickly bent down and reached out pulling up a duck. As she turned it over... there was nothing. Ah well, maybe next time.

Di came up on a game which reminded her that this was certainly being held at a school, as if she wasn't already aware. Ducks in a bucket... Pretty simple, but cost-effective! The little kids could play a game like this, easy. She did kind of prefer the games of skill, though. Too cute a set-up to pass up either way!
But it seemed the duck gods disliked her internal assessment about the skill thing. When she picked up a duck, she got nothing more than candy. Hmmm... Unfortunate. But she didn't lose at something that had to do with strength or aim, so, heck. Not anything to get upset over.

Kayla was much more chill in her approach to her game of choice, even as Luca was basically standing there going "klfksjdkjaskllll get me a plushieeeeee." After she got her ticket, Kayla picked up a duck that felt right. It wasn't numbered or marked at all. "Nope."

After doing her first full circuit through the affairs at the festival and then eating perhaps too much (probably overpriced) funnel cake, Clementine had finally made her way back to the duck pond; she'd gotten lucky on her very first choice grab, and somehow she didn't particularly expect her luck to work out that way again. (Not that she really needed more than two gigantic stuffed animals to be gained in one day; but, man, if she could get four she could probably make a terrible mattress out of them. She had plans for this. Plans that were, undoubtedly, more than a little concerning to anyone else who happened to conceive of them - well, their loss, right? It wasn't exactly world domination, but it'd do.)
Wonder of wonders, she was right yet again - and now she had three out of the four types of bears! (Did they really count as bears if one of them was a rabbit and one of them was. Uh. Maybe a rabbit? Maybe a dog. Toy rabbits tended towards not-brown.) If the attendant's smile was a little strained, Clementine was blissfully oblivious; she clipped the maybe - dog - maybe - rabbit - maybe - something to her backpack for the moment and skipped along to her next stop, whatever that was going to be. Whatever the shortest line was at the moment, probably; she didn't feel like waiting in line for too long with a stuffed animal tied to her backpack like she was kidnapping it as a political prisoner.
Man, her duck luck was out of control.

Amigar drew close to this game. Everyone was picking... ducks? hmm now that was definitely different.
She couldn't wait to try as she raced up handed a ticket and tried her luck.
As she reached in for a duck she closed her eyes. Would this be a lucky duck or had she already used up her luck winning the panda bear.
She slowly opened her eyes one by one to look at her duck. Sadly it was not a winner, but thats okay she thought. since she was having fun either way.
