Name: Nevaeh Selie (Adopted Brother of Hel Selie with Lucyal Permission)

Nickname: Nay-Nay. If he likes you though, it could be Heaven (;

Age: 16 years old

Birthday: July 22nd

Sign: Cancer

Gemstone: Pearl

Blood Type: B-

Fav. Food: Grilled Chicken and Onions. Onions in general. Grilled food also in general. Everything grilled is awesome.

Hated Food: Overly bitter foods.

School: Romano's (Freshly transferred....yay.)

Gender: Gender Fluid. Preferably male, but sometimes will ask for female pronouns. As a senshi, they prefer strictly female pronouns! (I feel this is important to include because it explains the difference between their Senshi form and their Civilian form!)

Hobbies:

Sewing: Travelling with his sister and adoptive father didn't give Nay a lot of time to really attach himself to things. Instead he focused on things that could benefit them in their travels. Sewing was the best and quickest thing he managed to pick up and it ended up being something he loved to do. He loves sewing outfits and clothing for cosplays, and channels a lot of it into his fashion style choices!

Style/Cosplay dressing: The best way for Nay to show off his outfits is by wearing them himself! He loves to go out in new clothes he's made, whether they be 'cute' or 'cool' or 'sexy', he's not shy! Added to that, he loves finding cute characters from shows or animes and creating cosplays based off them!

Muay Thai: This was a course that was not really a choice for Nay, but because his adopted sister took it and was forced to be her partner. As such, he has trained and continued the regimen so that he could keep up with Hel, and because it provides good self defense in cons where he is cosplaying.

Basketball: Nay has been playing basketball since he was like....5. Even though he has a small frame, he uses that to his advantage as a pointer, and has a killer 3 point shot. He's quick and nimble and will throw down basketball if you ask him! When he's not cosplaying, the boy is totally basketball crazy.

Virtues:

Creative: Moving around a lot meant that Nay had to get creative with their resources. Nay loves finding ways to turn scrap into gold, and making acute not thought of decisions to situations. They use quick talking and quick thinking to solve a lot of their problems.

Resourceful: There is always something to use for something. There's always a way to think of something with what you have around you. Nay is a coordinator with his resources, and making the best of what he is given.

Nimble: Nay is a quick thinker, and takes advantage of the fact that he is a bit smaller and quicker then others to get out of sticky situations. His coin of term is that he's light on the feet and quick to the beat. It helps sometimes when he's making difficult decisions for creating attire, or when he plays basketball where decisions and actions do not have allotted time to be thought about!

Flaws:

Relentless: Nay is constant in the way he acts and thinks. Sure he's quick thinker but once he is, he is CONSTANTLY sure that it is the correct way to act or think for the situation and he will continue that way of thinking unless proven otherwise.

Rash: There is no time for looking back on a decision he's made, so he just keeps going with it and that's that. There is little thought sometimes for consequences that may be...present...past or future. Once it's done, it's done right? This can be troublesome because he truly doesn't reflect on bad decisions and chalks them up as just one mistake in a long running game.

Arrogant: Nay is hot s**t, just like his Sister, he comes from a family that are confident and sure of themselves. So much so that its hard to find faults (he says). This arrogance causes a lot of harm because it puts him in situations that could've been resolved if he stepped down.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: Olive Green, Almond and big due to both a spanish and Norweigen heritage.

Hair: Long Silver, Easier to dye for cosplays. Naturally silky and pretty

Face: Very feminine and petite, not very full faced or a lot of baby fat.

Clothes:N/A.

Senshi: Sailor Bellini , Dark Mirror senshi of Ruin

Challenge: Let me Ruin you.

ru·in
ˈro͞oin/Submit
noun
1.
the physical destruction or disintegration of something or the state of disintegrating or being destroyed.

Fuku Colour:
Main Color: Yellow
Secondary Color: Black/Sea foam Green

Attacks:

Sailor Scout Attack: Ruin's Slight

Bellini's bracers glow with a faint light gold/yellow color and spreads over their hands. When Bellini makes contact with someone physically, they experience pain similar to skin burning away (Or whatever a player discretion), and if they look down, it looks like their uniform or skin is falling into ruin**. This is an illusion and the worst physical damage they actually do is a reddening of skin and pain. The spot they touch is limited to the immediate area of how much their hand can grab (so it doesn't effect the whole arm when grabbed, just the area around their hand). Magic last for 15 seconds. Uses: 3
**This may look different depending on the character or player, but it could appear as if they are disintegrating, aging rapidly, falling apart, or any other visuals that would represent falling into ruin.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Ruin's Blight

Bellini's bracers glow with a faint light gold/yellow color and spreads over their hands. When Bellini makes contact with someone physically, they experience pain of skin being burned away, and if they look down, it looks like their uniform or skin is falling into ruin. This is an illusion but the pain is now more intense and can leave red welts or burns. The spot they touch has now grown and looks like it spreads over a limb or larger area(This can be player discreation, but the blight would spread at least triple the size of Bellini's hand). Magic last for 20 seconds. Uses: 2
**This may look different depending on the character or player, but it could appear as if they are disintegrating, aging rapidly, falling apart, or any other visuals that would represent falling into ruin.

Eternal Sailor Attack:Disseminate Ruin Blight
Bellini's entire frame glows and a glowing circle of a 15ft diameter, with Bellini in the center, forms around her.Anyone caught within the circle experiences the sensation of being ruined, as an intense burning feeling spreads through their body. As long as they are within the circle, it will appear to them as if they, everyone around them, and the environment has all fallen into ruin. The circle moves with Bellini** but Bellini must concentrate and keep their arms up to keep the magic flowing. Last 25 seconds per casting

*It is at player discretion if any after effects happen ie rashes, burns, bruising from the illusion
**Bellini cannot attack while casting and can only walk forward at a slow pace. Targets may escape or avoid the circle.
Usage: 2

Good morning, Nyx! Let's see if we can get Nevaeh approved for you.

For your Civilian Side:

Your Hobbies look good so far, though I do have a question. For Muy Thai, it that something he enjoys doing, or is it something he's more doing because he doesn't really have a choice? It's not a big deal, just something I was curious about, since hobbies tend to be things we like to do, rather than something we were forced to do and just keep up with.

For Virtues, Creative and Resourceful read well! They tie in greatly with his hobbies and make alot of sense for who Nevaeh is. Nimble, however, reads as a physical trait rather than a personality one right now. I did notice towards the end that he's a quick thinker/reactor to situations, so you may want to focus on that, rather than his size. The word Reactive and Adaptable come to mind, so you could use those instead and elaborate further on how he responds to things that don't turn out quite right.

I feel as if the word Relentless for his flaw may not be the word you're looking for. Does he try to push his views onto other people as well, or is he more the kinda person who just refuses to change his own opinion? If the second is the case, I think the word Stubborn might work better, as he's not trying to enforce his will on others. Relentless might also mean that he never gives up on what he's doing, which could be mistaken for a virtue instead. Could you clarify this for me, please?

While Rash works well, I feel as if that first sentence there is a little confusing, did you mean that the time has already passed after he's made a decision, or something else? Arrogant, however, is wonderful and I love it! I hope Nay can live up to the hot s**t he thinks of himself!

For his powered side:

While the attacks look pretty decent, part of the definition of Ruin you've chosen includes the word 'destruction' which is a restricted/locked sphere. Make sure you're focusing on the disintegrating/dissolving aspect of the word ruin. The idea of 'falling to ruin' brings up a different image than destruction, which is alot more physically violent.

Everything looks good for both Basic and super! Because you have put at 'a player's descretion', it comes off as well balanced and quite damaging if the player decides to let themselves be. I like it alot!

Most eternal attacks are one use only, and has a maximum distance of 25 feet, whether split into a radius around a player, or in a single shot direction. That being said, you can push the casting time to 45 seconds, which is a pretty common length for an eternal attack. And in order to balance it further, while the concentration is needed, you could also allow them to keep their arms free, so that maintaining the entire 45 second duration becomes easier and less likely to fall apart, since it's a one-time use ability.

If you have any questions, please let me know, and quote me once you're ready for me to take a look at your quest again.

Thank you,
Poods

Hi poods!

I made some changes and reworded the virtue/flaws so that they made a little more sense, especially Nimble. I do feel like that it doubles as a personality/physical trait because it's something he takes advantage of. More in the case that its a trait that specifically comes out more for like basketball or quick fixing of outfits and so forth.

Relentless is the word I am going for! Stubborn can stop at being set in their ways, where as Nay see's his way and you should be travelling on his way or you're like....stupid (these are Nay terms XD). You can't force your will on other people, but you can certainly do your own way regardless of what other thinks and consequences be damn (which ties into his Rash flaw).

For Muy Thai: Nay spends a considerable amount of time doing the activity and therefore views it as a hobby regardless of his own personal enjoyment especially because he shares the activity with his sister. I feel you don't have to specifically enjoy a hobby for it to be a hobby. I also placed it for the importance it has to tying with his adopted sister and because I would like to emphasize that Nay has some sort of physical combative training.

For Magic:

I'm not sure where you saw destruction in the magic, since I chose specifically to focus on disengration but I would like to clarify that disengration is....destruction? My attacks are technically the destruction or the Illusion of de-constructing a part of the body or landscape around them. Because Senshi magic no longer can have long term effects on the environment and only have short term effects on battle mates, I wrote the attacks specifically in a way they would still capture the essence of a very destructive sphere but would not effect the environment or person in a truly destructive way. (Does that make sense?).

I'm confused on the balancing of her eternal attack though, because its a sphere that can be destructive, I've already placed a limiter on her lethality with it by making it an Illusion, as well as restricting her so that she has to focus and have a certain placement of arms. Because of that, her time is shortened. 45 seconds feels like too long to have someone stand in and feel like their body is disengrating. Even up to player discretion, the sheer mental trauma of that kind of illusion would scar a character for much longer then most Senshi magic is allowed, I feel like.

I don't want it to be mistaken, but I am well aware that this is a very toe on the line sphere, especially since we have a similar sphere family in 'Decay'. I want to make sure that I'm not overstepping lethality but still maintaining that this is a very destructive sphere.

Good morning, Nyx! I apologize for the delay, It seems there was information in regards to this particular quest I was missing. I was informed that the sphere was approved a while back, and I had not known this before taking on your quest, and again, I apologize! After discussing this with the other mods, I think we've come to agreement on several points you made. There's just a little bit more that needs to happen before we can approve of this quest.

For Civ: That works well, thank you for touching up on that for me!

For Powered:

Specifically, what I had saw as destruction was in the definition of Ruin you provided. "The physical Destruction or Disintegration" part had caused some confusion for me.

For your basic attack, instead of going towards disintegration, it can be worded as 'falling into ruin', to emphasis that the sphere is infact ruin, not instantaneous disintegration. You can also state 'this may look different depending on the character or player, but it could appear as if they are disintegrating, aging rapidly, falling apart, or any other visuals that would represent falling into ruin.' The same goes for super.

For your eternal attack, I suggest changing the 'dissolving to ruin' and the 'they see the illusionary effects of the ruin of the environment around her" to a single sentence, “Anyone caught within the circle experiences the sensation of being ruined, as an intense burning feeling spreads through their body. As long as they are within the circle, it will appear to them as if they, everyone around them, and the environment has all fallen into ruin.” for a bit more of a clear understanding.

I hope this helps! The usage looks fine, just a little bit of rewording is needed before we can approve this.

Thank you!
