It was once peace and full of humanity, until a calamity called "The Great Collapse" struck the world. The sudden catastrophe that assaulted the world. Spikes called the Thorn of Judgment devastated major parts of every city, and nearly half of the planet's populations is said to lave died in the disaster The creatures, who both revenants and humans uttered known as Horrors, that appears all around the world during the Great Collapse, destroying numerous cities. Their origin and nature remain a mystery.
Gaol of the Mists "Vein"
A land that has been isolated from the rest of the world by the Red Mist. With the land pierced by Thorns of Judgement, undying Lost wandering in search of blood, and fewer blood beads each days. It is a place of despair for the revenants who call it home.
Red Mist
A wall of fog that appeared after Operation Queenslayer, imprisoning all life within it. Human or revenant, anyone who approaches it is overcome by intense pain and dread, rendered incapable of passing through. It is later revealed it was Silva, Successor of the Brain, created it to prevent another tragedy from a lot of humans outside of Red Mist, however it also revealed to protect both revenants and few humans from Horrors outside.
Revenant:
Revenants are vampiric beings who are constantly thirsty for and drink blood. They have no memories of their human lives. If a Revenant goes without blood for a long time, he or she succumbs to bloodlust and becomes a Lost. A parasite known as BOR (Biological Organ Regenerative) is placed in their undead heart, like vampiric lore, only to kill them is destroy BOR, where heart is located. Although, the results of transformation will make them lose their memories of their previous life as human and intense bloodthirst. They have four unique way to drain their target's blood known as Blood Veil, and unique weapons. They have one objective in their mind in order to survive, find the blood beads and human bloods.
1st Generation Revenants - These revenants were created and revived after the Great Collapse, but before Project QUEEN. While they successfully managed to become immortal and drive away the monsters around the research facilities, the problems of bloodthirst and transformation into the Lost led to the development of the Project QUEEN.
2nd Generation Revenants - These revenants were created en masse to fight against the frenzied Queen. Men and women of all ages had parasites surgically implanted, making this the largest generations, many of whom support Silva's ideals. The majority of the survivors of Operation Queenslayer now serve in the Security Enforcement Unit Cerberus.
3rd Generation of Revenants - Although implanted with BOR Parasites to fight the Queen, these revenants did not revive until after the appearance of the Red Mist. Many of them are unaware of the events following the Great Collapse, or why they revived at all. A large number call for the liberation of revenants and act against the provisional government.
4th Generation of Revenants - These revenants were revived by BOR Parasites implanted after Operation Queenslayer. Nearly all BOR Parasites were destroyed after Project QUEEN was frozen, but a tiny number found their way to the black market, where they can be purchased for enormous sums of money. Many revenants of this generation are small children.
Juzo Mido:
The leading Revenant researcher and well known scientist.Mido adopted orphans and repeatedly conducted experiments on them, then sent those experiments to the battlefield as soldiers. For the sake of his research, he even uses himself as material for experimentation, and has thus become a stronger Revenant. He is notorious for conducting inhumane experiments on test subjects. He is not even above using himself as a test subject. His inhumane experiment leads Yakumo Shinomo held grudge against him, due to using his friends over and over again as a test subjects. He mostly favor Fenrir Kiryu as his "special experiment" because of his Dracula's bloodline, creating first half vampire and half revenant. He mainly viewed his experiments as guinea pigs for seeking new evolution. Jack believed his plan is to revive the Queen because he stole all the relics then going after Silva's relics. According to Jack, Mido is a Successor that escaped the Crypt, which is impossible, but it's still function. He has been chosen as a Successor due to his high compatibility with relics, Mido continued his relic research covertly in a sealed off area using orphans from his previous experiments as subjects. Experiments on his own relic-empowered body unlocked incredible physical capabilities, but at the cost of his human form.
Cerberus
A revenant unit operating under Silva's provisional government. They oversee the lives of all revenants and collect a regular levy of blood beads, which they are also in charge of distributing. They effectively began the restoration of order, and all but ended the hunting of humans for blood and wars between revenants.
The Depths
The unexplored regions radiating underground. Members of Cerberus discovered the entrance, but the way has become blocked by miasma. It is a place of unanswered riddles, and rumors say hidden within it are resources once lost that are now shrouded by an unknown danger.
Humans
There are rarely any sight of humans living in this realm, mostly in prison in other home base or on the run. Mentioned from above, their blood are irresistible to revenants, once the blood have been spilled. Revenants claim them as their property as their blood bank and keep them hidden. They don't see humans as an equal to revenants. It's clearly unknown if Lost targeting them for blood. Currently, they are all under protection in government's safe houses.
